I have been a loyal customer of this salon for years, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I arrived around 4:20-4:30 p.m. for a simple gel polish change. Before sitting down, I asked if there was enough time since the salon closed at 5:00 p.m. I was told yes and was seated. Had they told me they didn't have enough time, I would have gladly come back another day. I asked the technician to repair a few chipped nails and, since it had been a while, to redo all of the gel so they would all look uniform. From the beginning, it was obvious she was rushing. She skipped steps in the gel application, the polish was streaky, and it was flooding onto my cuticles and the sides of my fingers. I politely pointed out the areas that needed to be cleaned up, but she became increasingly frustrated instead of addressing them. When I mentioned that the polish around my cuticles was uneven, she began scraping away cured gel rather than fixing it properly, leaving the manicure looking even worse. At that point, I asked her to stop. What happened next was completely unacceptable. Another employee walked over, stood over me in front of another customer and several employees, and said, "You come back tomorrow. Jenny can do your nails. You're too picky." I was stunned. Asking for a clean, properly applied gel manicure is not being "too picky." I wasn't asking for perfection--I was asking for the service I was paying for to be done correctly. If the technician was unable to complete the service because it was close to closing time, that should have been communicated before I was ever seated. Instead, I was publicly criticized and made to feel like I was the problem for speaking up. After years of being a loyal customer, that was incredibly disrespectful and humiliating. I went to the front desk and explained what had happened. The gentleman working there apologized and agreed that the employee should not have spoken to me that way. While I appreciated his professionalism, the damage had already been done. This review is not about a bad manicure. Mistakes happen, and I would have happily come back the next day if someone had simply said, "We're short on time, and we'd like to make sure your nails are done properly." This review is about how I was treated when I politely asked for obvious mistakes to be corrected. No customer should ever be rushed through a service, publicly labeled as "too picky," or spoken to in such a disrespectful manner for expecting quality work. **PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO HERE** I will no longer be going to this particular nail salon. While I must acknowledge the exceptional service I received for my pedicure, I cannot overlook the disappointment I experienced with the Gel X set. Despite providing a clear photograph of the desired black French tip, to the nail technician, Carolyn, situated in the front left corner next to Ngoc Son, she failed to meet my expectations. The final result bore no resemblance to the image I had provided. I left the salon feeling dismayed, especially considering the substantial payment of $160, including the tip. However, I decided to return and politely expressed my dissatisfaction to the front desk. I even apologized for inconveniencing them. The front desk staff kindly offered to have another technician rectify the issue. In order to expedite the process and avoid further inconvenience, I opted to have my nails painted entirely black. Unfortunately the seating arrangement placed me right next to Carolyn, & nail technician Ngoc Son was assigned the task of fixing my nails. Carolyn was clearly agitated, confronted me, and demanded an explanation for my discontent. In a respectful manner, I stated that I was dissatisfied with the crooked and poorly executed design. I assured Carolyn that I understood she tried her best and simply requested to have my nails painted black instead. To my surprise and dismay, Carolyn became extremely defensive, abruptly abandoned her own customer, and occupied Ngoc Son's station. She then insisted on examining my hands. What followed was truly distressing. Carolyn proceeded to forcefully squeeze my hands and aggressively file my nails, all while speaking rapidly and placing the blame on me for not immediately expressing my dissatisfaction. She even had the audacity to claim that her design resembled the photograph I had shown her. Carolyn was hurting my hands and my fingers... I had to pull my hands from her grip. I told her she didn't need to speak to me that way or treat me the way she was. I asked the front desk to please get her away from me. The entire ordeal left me feeling incredibly stressed and embarrassed. The behavior I encountered was highly unprofessional, and Carolyn's unnecessary aggression towards me was completely unwarranted. Although Ngnoc Son painted my nails all black ... I was left with bulky uneven nails.. I will never return to this nail salon again. Moreover, I strongly advise against anyone else having a similar experience. I came here a few times now to get my nails done, and I always get the same thing, including the same style etc, yet some how, the price is always different and more expensive. Beside that point, the last time I went, the gentlemen that did my builder gel set while I was getting my pedicure done, slapped the hell out of my hand because he had to redo a few nails that got messed up in the gel drier due to him trying to balance the machine on my knee. Additionally, he began to massage my hands and lotion them and I asked for him to stop because I was already widely uncomfortable. I feel a customer, especially a new customer, that if using a Credit Card should be told upfront that there are fees involved. No where was it posted that I would be charged extra for using my Visa. I asked the gentleman after he added it to my purchase where is it posted and he stated our customers know this. I am not a regular customer so no I did not know this. I feel that I should have the option to accept or decline the extra fees associated with payment of my services being done beforehand. I gave it three stars because the nail tech was nice and did a good job on my pedicure and the place was very clean. I have previously only come to this salon for my nails, pedicures, and waxing. In my opinion this is the CLEANEST salon in the HD. However after my last 2 visits I'm sad to say I can not continue to be a customer with them. My full set was $90 for a glitter ombré acrylic and within a week where the nails meet my nail bed had messy acrylic coming up and catching my hair every time I ran my fingers through. For my fill I went in on Sunday 08/18 and I wanted a gel painted French tip. The filing was so aggressive that two days later I still have red spots. And you can see the glitter from my last set underneath!! And it's clearly not intentional as it's only on some of the nails and some nails half you can see glitter and the other half of the nail the glitter is colored. I'm very disappointed in this quality for a $75 fill. read more

My little piggies and legs are so happy with the messages and attention they received. They also provided a heated neck pad and the chairs give an amazing massage. They put a design on 2 of them all for $65 if that's the case I could've got a whole new set. If you're going to charge for quality you have to be able to deliver. I went here because I saw the reviews and was convinced. They were nice and hospitable however when I saw my nails I wanted to cry. They do the minimum but charge like it's full effort the guy didn't even put cuticle oil on me. I thought I probably was judging to hard so I went back when one of my nails fell off after 10 days. (Gel X) I've never seen a fill on gel x -I always get a new set! The tech did a fill and charged me the same price as a new set (87$) what I paid 10 days prior! I was so upset because my nails are now chunky!!!!! The reason I get gelx is because I like that they look natural! My suggestion: GO TO ANOTHER PLACE !!!! But if you decide that this is worth a shot, chair 6 is your best bet!
