Dr. Vaughnette Jones, I cannot thank you enough for your compassion, professionalism, and genuine commitment to caring for every child who walks through your office doors. My son was originally scheduled to see another doctor at Daffodil Pediatrics in Forest Park regarding his persistent cough, fever, and runny nose. After only a brief assessment, I was told that he simply had a cold and that it would resolve on its own with the medication I was already giving him. At that point, my child had been experiencing those symptoms consistently for over a week, which was exactly why I made the appointment. When the visit ended, I left feeling helpless, unheard, and defeated as a mother. However, while we were checking out, my son continued coughing, and by the grace of God, Dr. Jones overheard him. She immediately came over and asked, "How long has he had that cough?" When I explained that it had been over a week, she personally took us back to a room and took the time to thoroughly assess and properly treat my son. Dr. Jones, thank you for going above and beyond when you did not have to. Your attentiveness, kindness, and willingness to truly listen made all the difference for my family. Dr. Faduyile should not be allowed to work with kids. Her patience is not there and her attitude is NASTY. I don't know explained to her that my son already had a physical done and she wanted me to have him do another because he was a new patient. I explained that I was not comfortable with that because I don't want my insurance to get billed twice then I have to pay for something that's already been paid. She said she's spent too much time with us. I told her no problem, it seems like the patient is bothering the doctor and I refuse to stay anywhere I'm not wanted. I walked right out and reported her. Needless to say, the powers that be worked out what Faduyile couldn't figure out. Oh, let me not forget that Faduyile put information in MyChart that was a lie. I have sent an email to management to see what can be done. Although they rescheduled my appointment with a new doctor, I don't know that I feel comfortable with taking my son back not knowing what other lies Faduyile has spread. In short, run as fast as you can from Faduyile despite how great they say she is. She is mean spirirted and I wouldn't trust her to work on my neighbors dead dog. read more

Every time I visit this location it is always a wait past 3 to 4 hours from your appointment and they look at you and laugh and say it's going to be a long wait. Do you want to reschedule something needs to be done about this facility They have no patience when it comes to Black people. read more

They would book his "every other month" appointments three months out and always rescheduling them The last three visits I have arrived early and waited over 45 minutes just for them to take appointments that came in after me! Office experience is never good. The wait is easily 3 hours, & the front office staff does not care about everyone equally. They will not schedule both my children on the same day for visits, and also prefer you make multiple appointments instead of handling all your check ups in one appointment. I was told my kids had to come back in multiple visits for simple things. You can't be late for your appointment window,..... even though it would take several hours before you are seen, they will reschedule you. I once overheard another family being accepted for same day add-on visits, when they had just denied my children the same exact things. This front office would be more pleasant if they employed people from DIVERSE backgrounds, they don't treat patients equally. Quality Healthcare should not be exclusive to one ethnicity. They care about one group, they make things inconvenient for other groups and abuse your co-pay. The doctors are nice enough, they, unlike the front office staff, are diverse, they don't spend quality time with each patient. This location is close to home and my kids Elementery school. My son saw Dr. Vaughnetta Jones and she was amazing!! My son was having asthma complications and was not receiving the proper treatment from his prior Dr. But Dr. Jones knew right away what to do! She took her time, and explained each medication, how to administer it and actually broke down my sons asthma in a way I wish his previous doctor did! Overall I would recommend asking for her if you decide to take your little one over to the Forest Park location! Oh, and her medical assistant briana was AMAZING with my son as well. I would've gave 5 stars, but the facility looks a little run down and could use a new paint job or two, and the bathrooms were filthy. Besides that, the entire staff was great, including the front desk who was very sweet scheduling my next appointment, changing my pharmacy and even engaging in small talk. My sons appt was at 10:20am for a physical, and we didn't get seen until 12:15pm after being shuffled between rooms. When asked how much longer, I was advised that they take walk-ins and we have one more in front of us! Why schedule appointments if you're not going to keep them? You took my payment first but when questioned about a refund for an appointment that you didn't keep, I'm told that you're not sure if the policy will permit a refund. read more

You've heard it said many times before; the one star for Daffodil is by system default because they deserve absolutely none. Our 4 month old daughter had a sudden onset of nasty symptoms like coughing abnormally -more like hacking, severe congestion, elevated temperature, and accelerated breathing with what faintly sounded like little rocks in her throat. This was Wednesday, and we already had a scheduled appointment for her second round of vaccinations on Friday, but were so concerned that we called Daffodil to schedule an emergency appointment on Thursday to be seen by her pediatrician, Dr. Ried. Dr. Reid walked in the room, put the stethoscope to our daughters back and said, "she's breathing fast, but babies breath faster so no concern there." My wife ask why she's so congested and Dr. Reid said, "it's because you breastfeed, and milk naturally causes a higher build up of mucus." She went on to say that "it's natural since she's now attending daycare and that there's nothing that can be done, except to continue using the nose freda and saline in conjunction with a humidifier." Since Dr. Reid's diagnosed our daughter as a "well child" my wife asked if she could just go ahead a get the vaccinations taken care of on the same visit, but Dr. Reid said that's a separate appointment and that she'll have to come back tomorrow for that...and of course for another copay; Dr. Reid was in and out of the room in 5 minutes, and front desk staff continued to debate with my wife about the matter until she finally left with our daughter, prepared to return the next day for vaccinations. THIS TURNED OUT TO BE A BLESSING! Our daughter's symptoms got worse and worse throughout the night, and her rectal temperature read at 100.3. We immediately took her to the children's urgent care in Brookhaven, and they diagnosed her with bronchialitis, gave her saline breathing treatments, and said that she was nearly to the point of needing to be rushed to a hospital via ambulance. The nurses and doctors were completely shocked at what the pediatrician told us. IT WAS A BLESSING BECAUSE If Dr. Reid had decided to be civil about the vaccination appointment after her "well child" diagnosis, and had given our daughter vaccinations amid her worsening condition....I don't even want to finish the sentence. Needless to say, Dr. Reid is no longer our pediatrician. Bottom line, this place is negligent. I can't speak for everybody's experience but this was ours. Consider yourself warned. read more

Me and my family just adore her and doctor jones there is so sweet and great with my 2 boys we also love her as a doctor. This place is no no. The doctors here can't even detect regular ear infection. My baby girl was sick having fever runny nose coughing.. They gave her nothing but ibuprofen and some benadryl which are not so good for baby body. Plus the medicines were not working so well so I took my baby to downtown ATL Children's hospital ER. They told me that she had ear infection on both ears. I was shocked for the fact that the pcp couldn't see that first place! Poor them. read more

Unfortunately we've had to sit with Shemill Banks who's the Patient Advocate and she's really genuinely concerned about the physical, mental and well being of her patients. Nasty exam rooms and loud obnoxious staff. Don't come here if you have REAL insurance. This is a Medicaid patient factory. Waited an hour for the doctor meanwhile she was outside the exam room chatting. My son was being seen as an ER follow up for flu and all she did was ask me why I didn't give him a flu shot and seemed so obsessed with looking in his ears even though it was completely irrelevant to his visit. This place has gone to crap since Dr. Sellers-Scott left. The office is disgusting and the room we were put in was filthy and there was white stuff all over the chairs (see picture). I doubt they've ever wiped the rooms down.. I'm an MA so I know what a clean exam room looks like. I can't forget to mention that the MA that called us to one of the desks behind the front counter to update his chart had absolutely NO medical knowledge whatsoever and I had to SPELL words out for her so she could add things to his chart... try hiring people with English as a first language. read more

I use to go to this office when I was a child back when the original owner was there and he was an amazing doctor. But now everything is so messed up. I scheduled to have my daughter get her first shots and ended up bringing her 3 times and they just kept pushing them back and charging her insurance. Finally 12 weeks old I decided to take her elsewhere. Then they sent me a crazy bill after ensuring me her insurance would cover it all. read more

do not do business with this pediatrics because they have no active contact information for any if their locations, but they keep calling my phone requesting i setup an appointment for my child. big problem this isn't my child's doctor. they always do a rebo call at 5:50pm est and when you call the clinic no one ever answers and the voicemail is always full. you can not email any office using the email address provided on their website because it will be sent back by the mailposter as "invalid email address" all i want is for them to stop calling my phone number for a child that's not mine. however, since they have no valid form of communication i will never ever use daffodil pediatric for any of ky children and will advise that no one else uses them either. if i receive another call from them i am putting in a complaint with the secretary of state and the insurance commissioner offices about this practice. read more
