This was a great time and I'm giving only 4 stars instead of 5 because of a couple things I will note, but don't want those things to overshadow a great experience overall. First off, we had Victoria from DSH and she was fantastic! Punctual, friendly and great overall guide! She worked very hard to try to keep us on schedule and make it the best experience possible. My one remark for DSH to improve on would be a more clear itinerary prior to the tour date. We opted for pickup at our home in Marietta, GA and were never entirely clear on exact pickup times and return timing. It was approximately a 1 hour 15 minute drive from our neighborhood to Dahlonega and we did not get a clear pick up time until the day before although I had asked this at the start some 2 months before at the time of booking. We were told we'd be back "around 5 pm". In actuality we would have not gotten home until maybe 6 pm or later. To ensure we made it back home closer to the 5 pm time, we opted to skip one winery tasting as getting back on time was important for child care purposes. I would've liked to have had a more detailed itinerary earlier on so that our party could've planned accordingly and I think this is an easy fix for DSH. DSH did make the necessary arrangements so that we could get back on time and that was appreciated. The one other thing that was not smooth at all was our gourmet lunch at Dahlonega Winery & Resort. Beautiful place and enjoyed our tasting but it took forever to get seated for lunch and our food took so long that we had to take it to go and eat it on the van in route to our next winery tasting which everyone was frustrated about. We were seated on a beautiful porch patio and would've much rather enjoyed our lunch here than a shaky van. Victoria was great here trying to keep us on schedule and talking with the restaurant but this was simply out of her control. They definitely could've done a better job here as they must know that folks are on schedules and trying to keep on time for our next stop reservations. There was a group from DSH just ahead of us by a few minutes and they seemed to be able to stay on schedule as the restaurant took care of them first, so I know that they can do it we just got unlucky here. I know the restaurant had other parties for sure, but they were by no means packed either. One other issue was we got the "lunch included" package and we weren't entirely clear what that included at the restaurant? We knew gratuity was not included. Our party wanted appetizers and no one could tell us for sure if appetizers were part of the deal or not. One member of our party ended up paying a bill at the end he didn't tell us about until later and not sure just how much of that was gratuity vs food costs. Overall, we lucked out with beautiful weather and a great guide (Victoria) from DSH. Wolf Mountain is a top notch beautiful facility, Dahl. Resort & Vineyard was very nice (minus the bad lunch experience), we skipped Kaya unfortunately due to time and ended at The Cottage which had exceptional views and was a fun atmosphere. We would definitely do this trip again with DSH! read more

I recently booked a wine tour with Dahlonega Wine tours and overall it was a really enjoyable experience--especially thanks to our driver, Hunt! First, I have to highlight Hunt--he was absolutely amazing. Before the tour even started, he went out of his way to accommodate a last-minute request to stop and pick up sweaters since it was much chillier than expected. That level of thoughtfulness set the tone for the day. Throughout the tour, he was flexible, attentive, and made sure we got to every stop we wanted within our time frame. Truly top-tier service. As for the wineries: * The Cottage was hands down the best stop. The vibe was perfect, and the live music made it such a fun and memorable experience. Definitely the highlight of the tour. * Wolf Mountain was also a great stop, especially since they offered food--always a plus during a wine tour. * Kaya was just okay--nothing bad, but it didn't stand out compared to the others. * Limoges unfortunately was not a good experience. The server had a noticeable attitude, and the place felt empty and unwelcoming until a few familiar faces from another winery showed up. It just didn't match the energy of the rest of the day. Overall, 3 out of the 4 wineries were enjoyable, and with a different final stop, this would have easily been a 5-star experience. That said, I would absolutely book with Dahlonega Wine Tours again--especially if Hunt is driving! read more

We had a great experience for a bachelor party of 5, where only (1) person had been to the wineries before! Claire was great to work with as we executed the initial planning and the itinerary was developed clearly, allowing me to forward to the group and ensure everyone was aligned! The (3) vineyards we chose were all expecting us and this extra level of service helped make the day memorable. The van was perfect, featuring comfortable seating and the Prosecco that we purchased as an add-on was cold and ready to go, making it easy for us to settle in and enjoy the day! Cade was our driver and was nothing short of excellent! Made our drives around fun to the (3) different vineyards, was constantly checking in to make sure everything was okay and allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the day! Dahlonega Wine Tours provided a great experience for our bachelor party and the bachelor had a great time, so nothing else we could ask for! read more

Dahlonega Wine Tour, DSH Transformation, was an amazing way to experience multiple wineries. We were picked up at our resort by Taylor, and driven around in a large luxurious van. Taylor was nothing short of professional and very entertaining. We toured 4 wineries throughout the day, sampled different varietals, explored the gorgeous landscapes, and enjoyed lunch together. We had a great time on our wine tour! We were a group of 8 for a bachelorette trip. Tyler was super great at communicating with us during the tour to make sure we didn't fall off schedule and to make the most of our time at each winery. He was very professional and a great driver. We rented one of the vans and did a private wine tour with Alex as our driver. He was prompt and very accommodating throughout the day. We did NOT have a good experience at the first winery but Kate went out of to make sure we enjoyed the rest of the tour. She even surprised us at one of the wineries and introduced us to the wine slushies, which we all loved by the way. Thanks Alex and Kate for a wonderful day!! read more

Words can't describe how wonderful our experience was. Morgan was awesome! He was such a gentleman, he was so patient and funny. He was prompt with his arrival and was very accommodating if we wanted to adjust our schedule times since we didn't have any reservations. It was just the perfect day.
