On May 24, 2026, I stopped by Dairy Queen to enjoy a simple meal. However, shortly after I ordered, I experienced premeditated harassment. This includes perceived sexual harassment by a young man who jumped out from his seat unexpectedly; though he may have latter claimed that he was offering me the right of way as a courtesy, rather an intrusive and obstructive behavior. As a senior with a disability and an injury, I am requesting your immediate help in putting an end to the exploitation and harassment taking place at this establishment. I don't go to places where people might intend to cause me emotional harm or physical injury. As a consumer, I am asking Dairy Queen's corporate management to take action to prevent unwelcome advances or exploitation in their restaurants. If it's happening to someone like me, who obviously needs extra space, I can only imagine what Dairy Queen's workforce goes through. read more

My husband and I ordered through Door Dash on 12-20-25 lunchtime 12:30 and our food was AMAZING! HOT FRESH PERFECT NOT only that, usually not enough condiments and napkins are included but there were more than enough! Food has been good here every time. The service is friendly and our order has always been correct. It's nice that they will bring your food to the table. That's unusual in a fast food restaurant. It's 2 miles from the house, so it's very convenient. read more

We were with a local church camp and we we're doing a can good drive desperately trying to find cans and at a last ditch attempt called Brownwoods Dairy Queen. The manager named Bree answered and with her own money went to the grocery store and bought us 40 cans with her own money and even offered us more. We asked if there was anything we could do to pray for her and she said she is currently pregnant. All this to say shout out to Bree who did the most and help bless many people with food! WORST HAMBURGER EVER! My wife and I stopped there yesterday about 4:30PM. The meat was waaaaay overcooked and cold...the patties were BLACK and had a crust all over them! It appears they had cooked a bunch of patties for their dinner 'rush'. Will not go back there. read more

I guess I should review DQ for the stuff they put up with from me. I don't like fast food at all, but when I get the urge, I hit DQ for a Blizzard with BACON. I recommend you all do this. Peanut butter Cup BACON Blizzard is the best thing in the world. It's the perfect combination of salty, sweet goodness. DQ bacon is perfectly crunchy and works much better than other fast food bacon. I've also had the Chocolate Xtreme Bacon Blizzard, Thin Mint Bacon Blizzard, Pumpkin Pie Bacon Blizzard, Butterfinger Bacon Blizzard, and more. If you stop by DQ in Brownwood, get some bacon in your Blizzard! Sometimes they charge 59 cents for an extra topping, or you get the 89 cent charge for extra bacon. Either way is well worth the look on their faces. I've had people try from around the country, and very few DQs will give you bacon whipped into your Blizzard. I have written to America's DQ HQ several times and can't get an official answer for bacon rejection at most DQs. It's the best thing ever. I give this DQ a 5 star review because in this day and age, it is rare to find people who truly care - about the restaurant business itself or about their customers. The staff at DQ in Brownwood care about both. The food is good (hit or miss at other DQs) and it's cleaner that it was in past years. The thing that struck me the most about this place is how they treat their regulars. I had a friend with pretty severe mental health issues that was a regular here. Society usually writes those kinds of people off, they are a liability to a business, not an asset. It is rare for them to have a place that won't run them off. However, she always told me how nice and accommodating they were to her. When she died, they put a memorial up on their sign. She wasn't anyone that very many people knew well. She didn't have a lot of friends and many laughed at her. But these people honored her all the same. It was one of those rare moments that made me feel proud to be from Brownwood. read more

i asked them if they had tea and they said no, they needed to make more. asked 3 more employees during my stay and all told me they didn't have sweet tea as they we're about to close. it was 7:30. manager informs me an hour later that they were completely out of tea. i head to the bathroom and my husband takes the kids. leaves my drink and blizzard, which was barely touched, on the table, and the moment i step out of the bathroom the staff had thrown away my basically freshly bought blizzard and drink and wouldnt replace it. trash was on the tables the whole time we were there but i go to the bathroom to pee and they throw my shit away. im beyond enraged by this. read more

This place is always packed. They have good specials (altho they dont have the national "Dairy Queen 5 Buck lunch":(. The service is good, Taco Tuesday is very popular as well as the 99 cent happy hour. Service is quick, parking is ample & its a south-Brownwood favorite. read more

I compare this Dairy Queen to other Dairy Queens and it when I do, it is top notch. It is a new building, the people are nice, the food is good, and the place seems clean. This is not the case at most Dairy Queens that have been around for 50 yrs. Most need an update. read more
