Just a good old fashioned local small burger joint with a lot more than just burgers. Basically anything you can fix on a grill on in a fryer they've got it. Just take a peek at menu photos; there are lots of choices. There are nine booths inside plus two tables. There are four tables and four picnic tables outside under a shelter. Service is as fast as they can cook your food. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with onion rings. The sandwich was delicious and the onion rings were good. Little locally owned burger place. We stopped on the way through while traveling. We got there at 7, online said it closes at 7:30. We went inside and they said the inside was closing but they could serve us through the drive through line. We explained we didn't know and we're sorry and could head out, but they were nice enough to go ahead and serve us right there. Good was great! Got burgers and fries and tots. Called to place an order and waited on the phone for 5 mins then hung up and ended up going somewhere else and when I passed by the parking lot was empty. I stopped by there December 13, 2021 evening late. The place was busy with customers. So this is an established business that is a favorite of the local folks. I ordered a regular hamburger with lettuce, tomato, red onions, and pickles and nothing extra other than that; I was surprisingly delighted with one of the the best tasting hamburgers I have tasted in a long while. There was a bit of a wait, but it was busy, but it was worth the wait. This is what it's about. Finding great places to eat while you on the road. This is how I remember growing up how hamburgers tasted. This is not a fast food place, it prepared how you ordered it, and you wait for it being prepared. Great tasting burgers that were made hot off the grill. French fries were fresh cut and fried up at the time of ordering ( In and Out Burger style). We ate outside on their deck area which was very clean despite being open to the elements. The bathrooms both guys and girls were spotlessly clean. It's a decent burger in Central Texas in an area where burgers are plentiful. It was once one of the best, especially when they had the hwy 377 location. A bit pricey in my estimation compared to other places nearby, but some folks are super fans. Friendly staff for sure, and Jerry has been doing this a long time.
