a taco salad and a drink
    David R.

I came in for a late lunch and found the staff very friendly and they suggested the taco salad. Yes it's fast food and it is a Dairy Queen , but it was very good and I enjoyed every bite ! When you see the "TEXAS STOP SIGN" , pull over and get full !

Dirty and slow, slow. Spent 20 minutes waiting on our fast food. Bathroom needed attention.

The Blizzards(tm) are perfect, not just because they're free, but because I really wanted a Blizzard(tm) already.

Once hubs secured his soda I asked him if we could grab some grub next door. We went through the drive through and ordered a chicken tenders kids meal which came with 2 tenders, seasoned fries, and a small soda. I also ordered Texas size onion rings as well and the total came to be $12. For the amount of food and money spent we couldn't be happier! Everything was pipping hot. Chicken tenders were big and not dry at all. Fries were solid and seasoned, and those onion rings were amazing!! Ate it all in the car and tbh was so hungry I forgot to take any pictures. Whoops. If I needed a sit down meal break I would highly consider sitting down and trying a burger on my next drive from houston to Dallas! I mean it's called TX burgers so I would like to think the burgers are even better than what I just ordered. I just always prefer finger foods when I eat in the car. Again pleasantly surprised with the price and the taste at this random restaurant we happen to drive by. Happy belly !

Yes I added cheese & yes they charge .60 for ranch which they use the peppercorn from subway & taste like Caesar not ranch. I went inside to exchanged it & she showed me the subway peppercorn ranch - the lady named Jamie at the window drive-thru was raising her voice at me when all I did was ask for the breakdown as I was trying to understand how it came to $15 -she said- breakdown is on the receipt- guess what- it is NOT. I will never recommend or visit this TX Burger again. Crying shame to treat someone this way- horrible experience! Daughter ordered their steak fingers the other day & they are also the worst I've ever had as well. No meat inside- just over fried breading! Dirty inside too!

We stopped by on our way back from Shreveport expecting some standard diner food. Lucky for us, the food was way better than expected and much higher quality as well. My son and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, while my wife ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken due to the recommendation of our waitress. Unfortunately, they brought out three orders of Chicken Fried Steak. We didn't say anything and accepted the food as it was. The Chicken Fried Steak was humongous and packed with flavor. It was a tad on the salty side and the meat was a little tough. But for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere, it was still better than expected. All of the sides tasted great, including the Mac n cheese, baked potato, coleslaw, fries, and onion rings. I would recommend stopping by here to support them and avoid the fast food chains.

The Pharm is in downtown Buffalo. A lot of locals eat here. If you are a hunter, you are going to love this place. On the front wall is one of the most impressive collections of deer trophies I have ever seen. Lots of restaurants with hunters for owners or workers put deer heads up on the wall. Few have as an impressive a collection of top score trophies as you will see at the Pharm. The antler widths are absolutely positively enormous. I didn't think they made deer with antlers that big. * * * What goes for the antlers goes for the food. Pharm takes pride in its steaks. This seemed like a good reason to order a rib eye sandwich. That rib eye was about as wide at the biggest trophy on the wall. It extended half a foot out of my bun on one side and half a foot out of my bun on the other side. The bun was merely a handle for picking the sandwich up. The rib eye was thin but absolutely tender. It was not the $150 steak you would get at an oil magnate's private dining club. But for an everyday steak sandwich, it was just great. I was happy to have it. I was also happy to have the onion rings that went with it. * * * I would say the crowd was 100% local. I was the only highway passer-through. There were a lot of people taking a break from work for lunch. Many of these guys had the name of their company embroidered on their baseball cap. There were retirees in camouflage having lunch with friends. There was one young Christian couple having a long friendly conversation with a lady who was probably the manager. The manager was holding a hammer and waving her hammer over the place. My guess is that they were talking about some kind of repair or remodel job going on in the restaurant. But then who knows? Altogether, it seemed like a comfortable neighborhood hangout. * * * I suppose you "could" do well by eating at the Subway right at the highway junction. I recommend you do better by going into Buffalo itself.

Th menu has so many great options, so I went with the special, chicken fried chicken with white gravy, mashed potatoes, okra and toast. I am not a huge gravy person so got it on the side. The proportions were the perfect size, not too little and definitely not overwhelming. Everything was excellent and cooked to perfection. I had the sweet tea and it was wonderful as well. My co worker had the fish plate, she is a connoisseur of fish and said it was wonderful. The booths were a good size and customers are able to write with chalk paint pens to leave their mark. The environment was relaxing and fun at the same time. Although the space is smaller, the speed of service and the wonderful staff made it feel big. Will definitely return when I travel through Teague!
