This is a sweet little local place with great chips, good salsa, and tasty food! The best part was the tamale. It's nice and clean, teensy, but comfy. Meals are fairly inexpensive, and the service was lovely. I got the deluxe, which was a huge amount of food. Other than the chalupa getting soggy from the enchilada sauce, it was all delightful. Taco was fresh and tasty, and the enchilada was tender and flavorful. The queso wasn't great, but everything else was! Wish we had this in our town. I'd be a regular. read more

Second time to stop in for lunch on our way to Austin; it is still fantastic. The chips are thick and the hot sauce has just the right amount of heat. My husband had the beef chimichanga and it was stuffed and fried to perfection. I had the chicken enchiladas which were smothered in sour cream sauce with a little green added on top. I'm not sure how they get their beans and rice to be so flavorful but there is nothing bland about them. The service is friendly and the place is clean. Food was amazing!! We went and got the beef and chicken fajitas for the lunch time special, they were doing some work on the patio where we sat due to having a dog and the workers were so nice! They gave us the little run down of the future aspirations and safe to say we are excited to see the renovations! Love this family restaurant 10/10! read more

Wonderful little restaurant that serves good food. I had the lunch portion of street tacos (chicken) that came with rice and beans. No surprises just good food. My wife had an avocado salad that was fresh and tasty. Complementary chips and salsa were good. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. We were meeting friends to exchange Christmas gifts and she was very accommodating. No rushing. The decor was what you would expect and the dining room and rest rooms were clean. We certainly will stop for a meal when we pass by again and recommend you do too! read more

Let's start with service, it is very good and accommodating here however definitely on the slow side. Very friendly waitress and unassuming little place. However let's move to the food; horrible, almost inedible. Chips and salsa fantastic exactly what you'd expect. After that it gets worse my friend ordered the chicken fried chicken, this was clearly a frozen patty that was warmed in a microwave. And the gravy on top was bland. I ordered a lunch special which has a plural of "tortillas" but in fact was one small burrito about 4 inches long. Ironically the cheese on top tasted exactly like the gravy which was unexpected. The meat inside of the burrito had an expired sour taste both the chicken and the beef that was inside. Ended up taking all the meat out and just eating the tortilla empty. The beans were ok at best and the rice was completely unseasoned white rice. Would not recommend; and left feeling sick. read more

Great little spot on the highway. They don't serve alcohol but are byob. $12 got my friend and me a meal. $4 at the gas station down the road got us each a canned margarita. Friendly, family owned staff. I got a shrimp taco (not on the menu) and a beef fajita street taco and dipped both in Cancun sauce. My friend got the quesadilla plate. We have been eating at Anita's since August 2019- we have tried many items on the menu. We have 3 kids and family visits a lot. We have eaten inside and gotten it to go through the drive thru. That being said from the food to the service this place is AMAZING. It's BYOB, I have brought my own alcohol to drink while dining in. The item on the menu that is AMAZING and all of our mouths water over are their street tacos! Can I just say small town, small business, big hearted owners and employees. Their tacos are excellent. I did'n't care for their cheese enchiladas though. I like yellow cheese enchiladas with onions and a mole sauce or chili sauce. They use a white cheese and the corn tortilla are too soggy. read more

This is a very clean, friendly place to eat Mecican food. I had the pork ribs which were very good. A little skimpy on the peppers and onions. My wife had the chicken fajitas which she enjoyed.
