Pumpkin pie blizzards are back and they are soo good ! I believe this place is under new management because they are much more faster and professional from past experience. Sadly this is the closest DQ to our house and I have a special place in my heart for the DQ blizzard. This place is open year round which is nice. They also prepare the food relatively fast and have a drive through. That's where the positives end. If you walk into this DQ it looks like it belongs in a post-apocalypse film. The sign boards are broken. The kitchen are looks like a bomb went off. The machines haven't been cleaned in years. Overall, not where I would want to be consuming food. That being said, I have never gotten sick eating there..... But is that really where we want to set the bar? Overall, if you are craving DQ, use the drive through, because it's better to be blind as to the ongoing a inside. If you want a clean place to get ice cream, head to Culver's. If you are like me and just have a bad craving for a blizzard and don't care that it's coming from a place dirtier than a food cart in New York City, go for it.....hell I haven't gotten sick yet!!! read more

This place is the slowest DQ I've ever been too. I've been in line multiple times and left to go to Culver's. They supposedly renovated but it doesn't seem like they upgraded anything. Coporate needs to come in and take over. read more

Just left Dairy Queen on Cranston Rd in Beloit Wi. Without spending a dime, as after standing at the counter for 12 min waiting to be waited on, we left. With 3 employees looking at us multiple times. It is very sad because in today's world of COVID and businesses needing patrons. Having really really poor service is inexcusable!!! My family bought this franchise in December 2017 and reopened on February 27th. We can tell from the reviews that some people have had bad experiences and it is our mission to create good experiences in the future. There are still many things that need to get better, but we have made many changes already to enhance our guests' visits. We have the DQ Bakes! and we are rarely out of anything. We have hired some of the old DQ employees and we are using some of the DQ employees from our Roscoe IL location. We are still adding and training new staff. I wouldn't give this a star but it's making me do it anyway. This place has the worst employees in the city, and even worse management. This location has a tendency to close early even though they are supposed to be open. It'll be 20 minutes until close and they have locked their doors and would refuse service unless it's drive thru. And then they fought with us when we wanted service. We walked up to the drive window and asked for service, and the employee had the nerve to tell us to get in our car and come in the drive thru. Little do they know, there is a women's pool league that shoots at the bar next door, and some nights we want ice cream when we are winning our games! Every time we do, this happens. This is absolutely appalling and disrespectful. What kind of business closes their doors and refuses service before their posted closing hours? We will be contacting management and possibly corporate, since there have been many complaints about this. For now, I refuse to spend my money here. read more

Terrible place. Went inside to order. Stood at the counter waiting to order while one person was sweeping. Another peraon at the counter was doing some book work and everybody else was walking around. The lady doing the book work looked up and then walked behind the next counter and started doing what i believe was training.? Who knows. Anyways, still standing at the counter. The lady sweeping finishes up and walks behind the counter. Still no service. Then i loudly said, "can i place an order.?" The lady doing the book work looked up at me, gave me a foul look and went back to doing her book work. Then a few minutes later said to the guy, i presume she was training, they want to place an order i think. To then, he looks at me and back at her. Kinda just stands there for a few minutes and then walks up to me and asks if i want something. Terrible customer service. read more

Let me start this by saying I only went to this DQ because of a previous bad experience at the DQ on Riverside in Beloit. I pull up in the drive through line only to see someone sitting at the obviously broken speaker with a please pull ahead sign. Finally pull up by the windows to see an employee outside taking orders and think, ok this is a good way to handle the broken intercom. The young lady was polite and doing the best she could with the situation (not her fault the equipment is broken). She takes the order in front of me takes mine and a few cars behind, goes back inside, assuming to place orders and help fill them. We wait what seems like forever for the car in front of mine to get their order... only half of it. Wait some more. Now I only ordered 3 blizzards 2 small and 1 mini. The car in front finally gets the last of their order. I pull up expecting to wait for mine, to my surprise not the case my order is waiting in the window. So I'm excited no longer have to wait for my blizzards. I pay again the young lady was polite. I take my order hand it to my wife and proceed to drive home so we can enjoy our treats. Well when we get home all 3 blizzards are quite melted and not very enjoyable. Now I know what you are thinking "how far was the drive? was it hot out?" Answers are 2-3 minute drive with the A/C on in the car. So my conclusion is that our order was made about 15 minutes before we paid for and received it. Was made, sat in the window, in the sun while they prepared the large food order for the car before mine. The issue here is that this situation needed to be handled differently. Maybe have the first car pull ahead, and serve the next cars their orders while the previous orders were being prepared, as most drive through restaurants usually do. There needs to be more training in this facility. I will never return to either of the DQ locations in the beloit area. Culver's will have my family's ice cream orders for now on. read more
