Decided to treat the kiddos to Dairy Queen so I opted to try the Strawberry Mango Mochi Blizzard. It's was not what I expected, so let's get into this review. First off, the service was great. The person working the window was patient while we navigated the menu and took our order perfectly. I always appreciate great service. The ambiance is casual here. You order your food at the counter and then come back to grab it when it's ready. There's no table service. If you have a large crowd, I suggest getting your food to go. Now let's get to this Blizzard. I realize all blizzards can't be perfect and some flavors are preference. This blizzard was not good. It's described as vanilla soft serve blended with strawberry topping and chewy, mango flavored mochi. It was far from it. I literally had 1 piece of strawberry in my entire blizzard. It still had a strawberry flavor which was ok but the chewy mochi is not chewy mochi at all. It's some kind of artificial yellow crumbly sand textured bits. They're definitely not chewy and they're definitely not mochi. This was the most disappointing blizzard I've ever had. read more

Ridiculous! The prices just keep going up to the point that a medium ice cream is five dollars. It would be OK if it was the medium that they used to serve, but this one was 2 inches tall.. They blamed it on the machine and something about the air and how it's falling into it, but I've been getting Dairy Queen for 20 years and it looks nothing like what The customer service is just awful, they would rather argue with me about the fact that if they wait it's gonna be 7 ounces and that's what I get instead of giving me what they should've given me which is a real medium and fix the problem. Clean restaurant. Very lonely though. It felt weird. I ordered the double cheeseburger with bacon and fries. My burger was almost bad. The lettuce seemed like bagged lettuce. Squares and big chunks. Hard to stay in the burger. Thick pickles and the bun was cold. Bacon was meh and the quality of meat was meh. Nothing special. The fries were fresh and well seasoned. Decent portions. I wish the Pecan Pie blizzard was a permanent menu item but their day to day selection is always a treat me and the husband enjoy. Sometimes the wait time is longer than expected but that's to be expected when you're waiting for your fresh blizzard and the occasional cheese curd. I just love this place!! First of all, from East to West Dairy Queen is someplace that can be counted on for consistent quality and service. The soft-serve vanilla cone is always smooth, creamy and delicious. Since I have allergies I'm able to only have a few flavours of the Blizzard and the Strawberry Blizzard is my go-to. Not too sweet and it has chunks of real strawberries. The best part was when my Husband took me on a trip of 18 states last summer every Dairy Queen in every state we found one tasted just like its counterparts. Soft Serve, French Fries and Fried Cheese Curds!! I know it seems like all we eat is junk food but we only use it for snacks. Haven't been to Dairy Queen in a long time had some gift cards from Christmas went to this location and had two gift cards used both all but $0.15... the young man at the window asked if I would just like for him to throw them away and I asked him well how much is left on there and he said oh $0.15 I said no you can leave it for the car behind.15 cents is 15 cents.(Don't know if he did or not) Not to mention the food was not good.. chicken sandwich was dry hardly any mayonnaise and the hamburger what is pretty dry as well bun wasn't really fresh needless to say the things that we're good out of our meal was the onion rings and the ice cream!
