I'm updating my review to 4 stars now because the owner reached out even after the employee was extremely kind in resolving the burnt burger. That's shows true value and appreciation for every customer. To me, service is everything. That deserves earning an extra star. I will try them out 1x more and give them a review based on the 2nd experience. I have a serious problem when you call an establishment to tell how poor quality the food was they made and they're not apologetic. I have another issues, when I have to drive all the way back to the establishment and I request they remake the entire meal and they say only if all the food is returned. With this inedible burger, are you serious. The rest of the food was only ok. This is not our choice place and we've never tried it until today, but based on the service and the fact the cook knows they burnt this and still served it means we'll never eat here again! I changed my review to 3 stars because the Second Lady who helped me in the drive through offered to remake the entire order. I told her I don't need compensation like that, just remake my child's meal. She's the only reason this review went to 3 stars because nothing else about the experience was pleasant. read more

I was meeting me daughter that works in the area. We decided to grab some food and eat it off site. She was going to try Chris' because we had talked about having pastrami. She had heard good things about this place from coworkers. When she arrived I opened the package and I say "damn you ate half the zucchini" but she had not even tried it. She was a little surprised and then she looked at the receipt and realized she paid $6.99 for this amount of zucchini. It was good but obviously not enough for two to share as we typically do. The reason we had been talking about pastrami was because we had talked about going to a local favorite that makes a killer pastrami sandwich. Since we didn't make it over the weekend and we had planned on meeting for lunch, she suggested we try this place. It was OK at best. Good size but the quality of the meat was not the same as our local place but in the same price range. She thought it was salty. I just thought it was not the highest quality pastrami. If you love dry wings and small portions this is a place for you! Paid 16.50 for 12 very small extremely dry and crunchy (not crispy ) wings . The DUI fries were very small aswell with hardly anything on top just mostly dry fries with a little bit of meat on top , very disappointing considering my family and I have been coming here for over 10 years and its definitely not what it used to be , would have given this place 5+ stars back then but now Id give it -5 . Also the two young ladies who were working the drive through and counter were both very rude and unprofessional , I asked for a ranch and mustard nicely and they sighed and rolled their eyes, even got upset after we asked for a rag to wipe our own table that was very sticky (because we didn't want to bug them to wipe the table after they already seemed bugged) but she seemed upset we asked either way . I get it it's the day after Christmas but they seemed bugged by anything we asked for not only that but they seemed more into the conversation they were having than their jobs that they were there to do . They don't even flip the eggs if you order over easy eggs. They're almost completely raw so fearing salmonella poisoning I had to put them in the air fryer. The hashbrowns are like mashed potatoes, steamed potatoes because they refuse to even try to cook them because the area is so overpopulated that it doesn't matter how you prepare your food it's going to sell. I really enjoy the food here. The portion sizes are large and we'll worth the price. The price is only a couple dollars more than a food chain but the quality and flavor is worth the extra cost. Been eating here since I was a child. Top tier service, good food taste, extremely good food portions, extremely cheap prices. The price for the amount of food is insane. Although the cheeseburgers aren't the best I've had the shear amount of food for the small price carries the goodish taste. But the fries and ice cream are the best I've had. I want to thank my cooks they make the food promptly and delicious, you can't complain about the portions it's a good size and amount of food but the only thing this place lacks is better customer service, female staff members who are taking orders making mistakes not showing smiles, and not making it a welcoming atmosphere. This review is going to be based on two different visits. The first time was with just my girl friend and I. To start, the place looks like a classic burger place with sweet Rout 66 decor. 50s music was cranking and it smelled great. The guy who is was serving us was very friendly and helpful. I had the pastrami cheese burger and my girl friend had the Cowboy Burger. The pastrami was seasoned and cooked perfectly. It had the perfect texture and complimented the burger perfectly. I ordered it with a side of fried zucchini and man, those are some tasty zucchini. They are cut thin like fries and tasted amazing. They had the perfect crunch to them and I had to eat the whole thing. My girlfriend had the cowboy which is a western style burger and onion rings. The burger tasted great and the bbq sauce they used had a nice sweet tangy flavor that didn't over power the patty. Her onion rings were fantastic and she was quick to say they were the best she'd ever had. The next time we came we brought our 5 children. It was late morning so we had a mix of breakfast and burgers, lol. One of the kids had the pancake meal. It came with 3 HUGE pancakes, bacon, and 2 eggs over easy. My daughter loved it. Another kid had just the French toast. It came with 3 French toasts and again, the serving was big. The French toast was cooked perfectly and had the right amount of moistness. 2 of the other kids had burgers one with bacon. Both kids finished their burgers and said they loved them. My girlfriend had what she got last time and loved it the second time. I switched it up and had the sourdough burger. The sourdough was perfectly done and didn't get soggy. The burger was cooked how I like it and was great. I want to say also that the prices on things are VERY reasonable. For a family of 7, we spent around 65 dollars. The other week we spend almost as much at Jack In The Box when we all goes together. The food is high quality and at a great price which is great if you're a larger family like us. So glad I finally had the chance to try this place...the food is cooked perfectly and is so delicious. I got the fish sandwich which was super crunchy. The French fries were golden brown and seasoned with seasoned salt. My grand daughter never eats her fries but here she was eating them..The fried zucchini was so good. It wasn't soggy or mushy like most places out here. The food looked picture perfect.. you can tell they take pride in their food. The customer service was also amazing. Visited here for breakfast with a friend after staying at the nearby Wigwam. My friend, who was a local, told me a scene from Mad Men was filmed here - so I was a bit thrilled. Located on historic Route 66 it appeared to fix in from the exterior of the days gone by for travelers to be invited in for good food on their road trip. I opened the door to an almost full house on Saturday at noon but there was a table or two. I decided on the chicken tender combo with three pieces, seasoned fries and a drink for just around $7 including tax. Service was great and very friendly with the couple of people that I spoke with here. Customers were very much locals and I was out of place in their environment but got smiles and hellos from them too. The food came pretty quick and was freshly made since I had to wait a beat or two to eat the tenders.
