Service with a side of confusion. Pull up to the drive through, place my order. 1 chicken strip basket w/gravy and fry sauce, 2 popcorn shrimp baskets. 3 additional gravy's. Get to the window the team member hands me out a blizzard. I told them I didn't order that, so they ask what did I order and I have to repeat my order. Then the team member closes the windows and starts talking to their co-workers as if my order got lost. Finally get my food, and decided to go through it for accuracy. Sure enough, no extra gravy's and no fry sauce. So I have to go inside to get the missing items and talked to another team member who acted as if they didn't understand what I was saying. Get home and start to unpack everything, took a look a couple of the gravy's we were given and they looked dark, thick and old. As if they'd been sitting on the counter a while. I so disappointed in this DQ and probably will never go back. I was the only one in the place besides one lady who got her food as I came up to the counter. The young lady came up To help Me and stopped as there was something on the register. She called someone over. They came helped her. He walked away and then she did as well. I stood there waiting for my order to be taken. Two young ladies behind the counter began talking right in front of me about personal stuff for probably 5 minutes and as I was about ready to say something one walks away again and the other looks at me and says did you need something? Has anyone taken your order? I said no they haven't. Then she says oh hold on. Got the girl that walked away from me to begin with and she then took my order. I ordered 4 different items and about 7 employees are in there and it still took me about 20 minutes to get my order. They did start working more as it got busy about 10 minutes into it. I also witnessed a young man take a families order. The little Boy asked for vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. The boy working at the register and says we don't have sprinkles. The menu says they do and there was a big container on the counter full of sprinkles. WHAT THE HECK!!! They ask for a tip when I checked out and have a tip jar. They didn't get anything in fact I wanted to ask for my money back I was so frustrated. I am a very patient person normally but this was bad. Horrible experience. It took 30 minutes to get one meal, a burger, fry, and a small shake. There were no cars in the drive thru and the lobby really was not that busy. The tables were all gross and not cleaned. Employees were too busy talking to customers that seemed to be their "friends". I am all for having a good time at work but when the store was in the state that it was and people waiting on orders it really was unacceptable. I will not be coming back, i've never had such a bad experience at a dairy queen before. They also messed up the order and we had to remind them to make the ice-cream that we ordered. it was three items and they couldn't even remember the ice-cream. we were locked in the lobby trying to get out and a coworker treated us with terrible attitude as in yelling at us, making us feel unwelcome and confused. we were very disappointed with how we were treated and will not be going back due to the woman coworker unwelcoming behavior. no one told us the lobby was closed, scaring us, since we had no idea why we were locked in. the staff did not alert us what was going on and a fellow customer had to aware us of what is going on. we were very disappointed and will not be coming back to this type of treatment. read more

My family and I got into the drive thru lane at 9:15 PM. There were 3 cars ahead of us in line. The car at the speaker ordering was there for 10 minutes. The next car ordered. The car after went straight through which confused us until we got to the speaker to order and got an automated 'we are closed until 10:30 tomorrow morning' spiel. Are you kidding me?!? I have never been to a business that cut people off from service if they got in line before closing. This is HORRIBLE business practice! I don't know if the car that was at the speaker was taking that long to order, or whether it was employee incompetence, but either way the cars in the drive thru that were forced to wait should not have been penalized for it. I really think you need to change your business practices or you will lose even more customers. read more

We drove to this location tonight to get some ice cream and they were already closed by 8:57pm... if your hours say you are OPEN till 9... I expect to be able to order something UNTIL 9! All the chairs were up and they literally had closed up shop before the closing hour. The drive thru had what seemed to be a prerecorded message like DQ usually has and all it said was "we are closed and will reopen tomorrow." As a customer it would be nice to know why you closed early especially if there was a legitimate reason like illness, plumbing problems etc. But from our perspective it just looks like someone wanted to make sure they quit serving customers so they could get out early. read more

Update: the store called back the next day at 3:15 and offered to give us new food if we could get there by 4:00. This location is not close enough to do that and after the food quality we experienced, nobody wanted to eat there. They did set aside the $5.49 that we spent for the missing food and I did make the drive to go pick it up. They were polite on the phone but it sort of felt like excuses were made. " they were reprimanded" when I mentioned the crusty gravy and stale fries. "Our computers were all down and it was hectic". I understand system failure but it doesn't take a computer to tell you not to serve old food. That is something you can see with your eyes.
