CARL NEEDS A RAISE OR PROMOTION OR SOMETHING! Had a horrible day and decided to get Dairy Queen instead of cooking. Got to the drive through speaker and had the most wonderful guy take our order. Was incredibly sweet and had a voice that just brightened my day instantly. At the window I asked who took our order and had an amazing conversation with a lady while we waited for our food. I forgot to ask her name but she was fantastic as well. The food was delicious. Blizzards we're full past the top and really hit the spot. Everything else was hot and fresh. I know a few years ago this place was not a go-to but it's definitely worth the little bit of a drive now. I honestly would rather eat at this Dairy Queen than several of the larger "nice" restaurants in Leesville. The issue with this location is the lack of items. This trip they were out of cheese curds, Coke, and Dr Pepper. With options being limited got Sprite. That turned out to only be soda water. I would like to see this location get better. read more

It's a Dairy Queen. It's new. The employees were nice and the location is good and easy to get into and out of. On my visit, the sitting area was clean and the food was pretty fresh. When passing through Leeville on previous road trips I've stopped at other fast food shops and even gone out of my way to eat at some places, but now that this has opened on my route, it will be my choice if I get a bit hungry on the road. read more

Their blizzards are amazing. So many choices. When they hand you the blizzard, they are able to turn it upside down to demonstrate the freshness and consistency. This place is a true American staple and could hold it's own against any ice cream shop worldwide. read more

Great ice cream and glad they finally have a new restaurant in Leesville! The place is really busy but has a nice outdoor seating area you can bring your dog too. We got "Lola" - our English Bulldog a small cup of vanilla ice cream - she loved it! read more

What a wonderful addition to the dining desert that is Leesville. With very few exceptions the selection of restaurants here is poor at best, and of what is here most are pretty rough. So the opening of a bright and shiny (and clean) DQ is a welcome sight. We have visited twice so far. We were greeted both times by very friendly and helpful staff (with clean uniforms) and the burgers and onion rings were hot and fresh and carefully prepared. Did I say delicious as well? To say the least. And the take home ice cream cake was a major hit. Our food was brought out to the table (a nice touch) and the dining room (though very busy) was spotless and being tended to by staff throughout our visits. The manager even made the rounds to check that all was well with his customers. Thanks DQ! Very impressed. read more

Was so excited when DQ finally opened. They get 5 stars for the steak finger basket, but when I got a burger, the meat patty was cold, and the bun had been left in open air too long, and lost its freshness. I hate a cold, stale hamburger. I will give it another try, hope that was a one time fluke, because I've just waited with great expectations of this new DQ. read more

I come here very often. Today Oct 20th 2020 at 11:45am, the lady who took my order, She was African American with Reddish hair was VERY RUDE! When I pulled up to the drive thru to place my order. I waited for a greeting to let me know to go ahead with ordering. Her tone of voice was not friendly and her greeting of the words Dairy queen twice was with an attitude. I am spending my hard earned money here and I cant even get a greeting that doesnt sound you hate your job. When I pulled up to get the food, i could see her not handling my order correctly as she placed my cold sunday on top of my hot food in the bag. The bag didnt even get to me before the sunday fell over into the the hot food. Is this what my money pays for? Is this the service you guys want to give to your customers? This particular lady seems to always have an attitude and I wont be spending my money there for a few weeks atleast. I was a daily customer. I have had some awesome service and amazing food from this location but after today, Im considering other options. read more
