If you want Dairy Queen in the Ossian/Bluffton/Markle area - COME HERE!! Tried to go to Bluffton and they were rude and as unaccommodating as possible. We were helped by Stephanie and she was over the top wonderful. She let us decide on our cake, offered different icing colors if we didn't see one we wanted, and personalized the cake in less than a couple of minutes (and it looks so beautiful!). She was kind and friendly and really went out of her way to help us. It made my birthday extra special. This is probably the best service we have ever gotten at any DQ. There food was greasy and my strawberry royal cheese cake was so Ofer filled. Im upset because there is greasy on my shirt. And there was no wiped cream on my milkshake. And my fries were too salty for my liking. Ps: I do not recommend this place ever again. read more

NO STARS. If you want the worst service, food & experience. Go to Dairy Queen in Markle. Worst experience I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. I ordered a triple 2 cheese deluxe no pickle no onion. You think that would be easy enough. NOPE! not for these folks. I got home and the burger had pickle & only 2 pieces of meat . Put together sloppy as well, I want back because of course I'm not going to eat it. & the brushed it off like it was no problem. Of course because it wasn't there 30$ that was just wasted on disgusting food. Then the snaggle tooth that came to the window with a attitude handed me the burger and rolled her eyes like it was an issue, I open the burger box before I pull off & it still had no tomato. This Dairy Queen has the absolute worst quality control of any fast food restaurant I have ever frequented. Last time it was cold hot-dogs, and this time it was a #1 burger reheated in the microwave before being given to me in the drive through. How did I know it was microwaved? The bun, lettuce, onions, and condiments were all hotter than the burger patty. They were hotter than my fries. In fact, the entire thing was so insanely hot, I couldn't even handle the burger at first without burning my fingers. Everything was wilted and mushy, and it was 100% obvious this burger was reheated whole in the microwave. I don't know if the employees there just don't care or if they are stupid enough to think that their customers won't notice or report this stuff. All I know is that this is absolute ridiculous. Even disregarding the cold hot-dogs from before and this microwaved burger, there have been innumerable small problems with just about every order I have ever placed at this DQ. I tried contacting them on the phone, but after dialing 20 times with no answer, I am resorting to going through the website to report this ineptitude. This DQ needs to get their stuff together. The next time they serve me something that is obviously past the safety timer or under-cooked or reheated, I am going to contact state health authorities. read more

This place...I keep coming back but have no clue why. Even if you come when no one is here during a non busy time it takes forever. Today I'm here when people are actually here at lunchtime and it's just ridiculous. Appears 4 people working and they need about 8. I stood in line 15 minutes (only one person in front of me) before I got to place my order. Now I sit and wait and see how long it takes to get my food. It just blows me away that any place can be this slow and dirty. I would assume it's just understaffed. Looks like it could be an ok place with enough workers. read more

Slowest, least competent DQ I have ever visited. After the fifth attempt to describe my hamburger (nothing but lettuce and tomato), the cashier finally seemed to understand. We even confirmed 1) no cheese, and 2) yes, it did indeed include one single meat patty. After waiting for 9 minutes by their clock (which described the burger as a cheeseburger, despite our earlier conversation), the staff delivered our meals... to someone else. Okay, mistakes happen. And really the other customer shouldn't have pawed through both sandwiches before realizing they had someone else's order. When the staff discovered they'd delivered to the wrong people, they started again. Ten minutes after that, however, the manager (or a different staffer) came out and asked, "What was your order again?" "I'll have a refund," I said. Even that was difficult for this person as she helplessly looked through the orders on the cash register, while the original cashier told her three times, "That's the order. No, not that one, this one." I had fond memories of DQ from my childhood. It's going to be a while before I visit one again, and it certainly won't be the one here. read more

So we and grabbed lunch today, hot day so ice cream, right. Ordered my food, 3 cars ahead of me and worried they would make the ice cream and let it sit till I got there and I was correct. The drive through was SOOO slow but you are stuck in line because of their setup. Burger was both cold and burnt. Avoid this pit.

Do not believe the signs on the interstate that say that this place is truck and bus friendly. Once you pull in you find that the parking lot is NOT big enough to pull your RV around and it is at the end of a dead end, so you either have to drive over the curb (and shrubs) or back out.
