I asked her if she wanted me to stand in drive thru and she told me to not speak to her that way, that I was being rude. ??? I was a walk in. How did she want me to order. I did NOT drive there. I just left. Do not show up here after 830p. Employees just want to be at home. Lock the doors if you don't want to wait on anyone. Work on your customer service skills. read more

This location is not good. it's extremely slow. the last three times, i went there to get a small order, today, i ordered a cheeseburger and a cheese curd. it took almost 10 mins of waiting while at least 7 people sat there by the window and just talked. and the last three times i went there it was the same service. slow, very slow. it's supposed to be fast food for a reason dairy queen!!I will not be going to this location ever again. read more

What a pleasant stop! On the road from the Keewenaw to the LP, we stopped for a quick bite here. Clean, well maintained, dining room and restrooms. The real charm is the staff! This place is grossly mismanaged and run by a clueless staff. My experience here started bad and only got worse. I came in and stood at the counter for five minutes before any of the several employees acknowledged me. When a cashier finally did see fit to take my order, I asked for a Tropical Blizzard, and sat down at a table after repeatedly having to coax the malfunctioning credit card reader into recognizing my card as the clueless cashier stared at the offending machine slack jawed. The same employee came out a few minutes later, empty-handed to inform me that they "No longer had coconut." More than a little exasperated, I said a Tropical Blizzard without coconut would be fine. I then watched as my Blizzard sat in the order window for a few more minutes, visibly melting. I had to ask another employee to retrieve it for me. According to Dairy Queen's website, a Tropical Blizzard contains coconut, pineapple, and pecans. The Blizzard I received had banana pieces and maybe pineapples in it. There was no sign of pecans, and the bananas had no business being there. I took two bites of the Blizzard before I realized it had been made incorrectly and wasn't particularly good. It went right in the trash. I thought about tracking down a manager and complaining, but no part of dealing this place was easy, and attempting to get the incompetent staff to issue a refund didn't seem to be worth the cost of the inferior Blizzard. I left in a much worse mood than when I entered, which is the exact opposite of the effect Dairy Queen should have on me. Whoever is in charge here has no concept of good customer service and has no business being in the fast food business. I'm not spending money here again, and you shouldn't either. It will only serve to make your day worse. read more

Went into this fairly new establishment not having high expectations. I've been to a lot. Of DQ's around the country, but I've never seen one mess up a Blizzard....how might you ask? By putting zero effort into it. All the toppings were on top, a slab of ice cream on the bottom and looking like slop. Maybe I'll try again after this crew rotates out. read more

Not bad, went there for a strawberry cheesecake blizzard and it was really bland tasting. The three star rating is because the burger was great. I was definitely disappointed with the blizzard. I guess I'll stick to Culvers for ice cream treats. read more

I went in on opening day and it was PACKED! We brought in a birthday party (crazy I know). But they got our enormous order correct and everything was wonderful. The staff was polite. I have been there a couple of times since then and I've only had one minor issue. I ordered a pumpkin pie blizzard with cheese cake pieces and they forgot my cheese cake... Always a popular choice for daddy/daughter time. Currently my favorite fast-food burger. Today's visit gets an above average rating because the girl behind the counter was friendly and helpful. She took the time to engage with my five year old and answer her questions. So much better than when the kid behind the counter can't even be bothered to speak and just gives you the "what do YOU want" snarl. Thanks polite high school girl. read more

I stopped by on Halloween for a late lunch and the whole restaurant was cutely decorated for the day! The staff was friendly and also in costume, which made the experience all the more fun. My food was excellent as expected! One of the most wonderful fast food experiences in town. I'll be stopping by again for sure. read more
