Oredock has a good selection of beer and some other beverages. The staff were kind and patient as we decided what we wanted. There was mention of food trucks but none were posted when we visited. If the brewery offered some dry snacks, that would be nice. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. In order to accommodate, there are multiple bars as well. We went upstairs to the back patio and we pleasantly surprised by the set up. If this were a cooler day, fire pits could also be used. Note there is no shade available so on a hot day it may be advisable to sit elsewhere. Also there were plenty of board games available on both floors for patrons to borrow. Orac is always a great place to stop if you're looking to get a nice cold beer. They've expanded their operation over the years and I have to say I'm pleased to see what they've done with the place not much for food, but is that really what you need when you go to a nice brew pub? It was one of the best beers I've had lately, and I was at the Minnesota State Fair last weekend! The environment was also wonderful! They had a pleasant outdoor space. It was quite busy for Labor Day weekend, so we went upstairs to their overflow seating area, and it was actually preferable to the rest of their environment. After a day of hiking and swimming in the lake we were looking to just chill and find good places to drink in the cute town of Marquette. This was the first stop on our brewery adventure and I thought this place was just adorable. You walk in and there is an assortment of gifts and t shirts on the walls and then you go up to the bar to order. The bartender was super super attentive. I loved being in northern Michigan the service everywhere was really great. We ordered our beers and went up to the higher level . It was empty but that was also a bar area and tables that looked like it could be used as a secondary area when things got busy. We decided to go downstairs and check out their cool pinball machines which was a great touch while enjoying our brews. I wish there was more seating outside because it was a nice evening and it was super busy on the patio. So that was one negative but besides that I would absolutely go again! read more

The ore dock is located right downtown Marquette so easy to walk to from downtown hotels. I had the "one way mule " which had good hopiness and lower ABV 4%. Two food trucks parked out front if you want to go for dinner. Outside sidewalk and indoor areas were nice. This was the only brewery we visited in Marquette with real pinball. The outdoor deck was nice. They had a pizza truck on the side as well which smelt amazing. The beer I ordered wasn't amazing to me, but my significant other loved hers. Their menu had so many options that sounded amazing. Sadly we had dinner reservations elsewhere so I was only able to try the one beer even though I wanted to try others. Can you say....LOVE! We have been bouncing all over the state checking out breweries and Ore Dock is in my top 10. Not only is the vibe super cool, the location is centralized and I love the view of the Ore Dock from the brewery. It just adds the perfect backdrop to awesome city of Marquette. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we were able to walk to the brewery from out nearby hotel...BONUS! We were excited to check out the beer options and we were impressed by the wide range of options. We sampled a few beers before making our final selections. I love ordering flights and we normally just split them and them order a pint of one of our favorites. I am a Belgium "triple" queen...one of my favorite beers. We are excited to add Ore Dock to our list of favorite spots. read more

Never disappointed when stopping at the Ore Dock to try one of their brews. Friendly, knowledgeable people work here and always willing to give you a "sample" if you're undecided. Brews change regularly so something fun is always available. Complimentary popcorn is a nice touch! Not a huge place, downstairs they have tables, comfy sofa and bar stools. Upstairs is much larger, often reserved for special events and when they have live (not dead) :) entertainment. When weather permits, sit out front and enjoy a brew. The beer is... good, but not fantastic... but the venue and the people are excellent. It feels more like an indoor neighborhood park. Live music, corn hole, benches and tables scattered about, a nice "bar" downstairs. You are able to bring in outside food, which is nice because they only have popcorn. Every time we are in town, we come here after we've had a couple of drinks and I'm not overly concerned with amazing beer... and I really just want to feel like I'm where I belong. There's another brewery in town, and I love their beer...but the venue just feels like I'm in the way most of the time... I've never felt that way here. And did I mention the FOOD TRUCKS... they have a schedule that you can follow for local food trucks out front, it's worth it to check it out. read more

When I travel, I have to visit a local brewery especially when they don't sell out of state lines. So glad I stopped at Ore Dock. Their tap room is very spacious. They have two floors, and I think they use the second floor for private events as there was a party that evening. There are plenty of tables for seating as the bar are is a little small, but was still able to grab a seat. They have several TVs and they were playing football, so it's a decent spot to watch a game. I was also pleased to see all the board games you can play. I ended up finding a coloring book because you know...I'm still kid lol. Not being from the area, I relied on the bartender and he was very helpful about what beers are more popular. I got a flight to star with and was impressed with their Boom Tree sour ale, a stout and the Ruby Waves Belgian Ale - that one kicked my ass! lol. I got a bigger glass of the sour ale and took a crowler of the Ruby Wave with me. I was also surprised and impressed that they make their own seltzers (Break Water). They had a black cherry and lime seltzer. I just had the black cherry and really enjoyed. It was refreshing and comparable to the other popular seltzers. On my way home, I ended up getting a six pack of it. I hope one day they consider distributing to their Wisconsin friends. read more

I'm not usually a huge fan of beer or any alcoholic beverage whatsoever, but trying out a brewery feels like a must-do when visiting Marquette. With so many options available, it took me a long time to decide on a place. We finally chose this one because their beer flight option appears interesting. This place exclusively serves beer and they have no food so if you need dinner, go eat beforehand. The place is very chill and casual with a friendly atmosphere. The ambiance is just perfect. There was only one staff that I saw that night despite the place being quite full, but she manages everything smoothly and does not seem frazzled at all. The menu is pretty simple and straightforward, which is great because sometimes going to a brewery with a LONG list of options just confuses me. All the beers that we tried were good and I'm actually really happy with the experience. Even as somebody who's not a beer fan, I will definitely recommend anyone who visit Marquette to give this place a shot! read more

Great beer, great staff, great location, great covid protocols. My wife and I enjoyed our first visit so much we ended up back the next day. We sat on the patio the first visit and just inside the wide open doors the second. The pizza truck out front was kicking out some great looking pies too. Definitely one of my favorite spots in marquette to grab a beer. I personally think their beer is tastier than Black Rocks Brewery. I also like the location down closer to the harbor and within walking distance of the heart of the bar district in marquette. I've sampled most of the beers and recommend all of them except the gluten free one. read more
