Arrived 45 minutes before close. No workers in sight. Back door opened and closed several times. The girl who walked up to the counter immediately stated, "I hope you know we close in 45 minutes". Father's Day - my wife treated me to DQ. We were able to place our order quickly. The cashier gave us an order tent # and said she'd bring it to us once it was ready. The lobby wasn't full, so we decided to eat outside. It was a beautiful sunny late afternoon. Additionally, the cashier didn't ask if this order was for the inside or outside dining area. The cashier brought the order to our table, saying she couldn't find us. After placing the ice cream on the table, she scolded us that we should have told her we were eating outside! The line wrapped around building due to COVID 19 preventing seating inside and I was worried how long I'd have to wait but I had a craving and decided if it got bad I could just leave. I never left because of the speed at which the line was processed. Maybe 10-15 minute wait to get through. I was impressed!! My food was fantastic and fresh! I've came to this DQ now several times waiting at the drive thru. Each time I come the line of cars never move. Seems like one person is working only. I drove around and there was only one veh parked on the other side of parking lot. I waited almost 15 mins and never moved up. I've had very mixed experiences at this Dairy Queen- but here is the latest. After work I wanted a little treat, so I pull into the drive-thru and ordered a Banana Split with cherries instead of strawberries. The voice on the speaker said "I'm sorry, we don't have cherries anymore" Fine, I 'll take just a regular Banana Split- then I asked if they have hot dogs because I didn't see them on the menu. "Yes, we have hot dogs"- great I'll take one with everything. I get my food and pull into a parking spot and I can tell they microwaved the hot dog because it is JUST STEAMING HOT! I open the little cardboard container and I touch one of the pickles on the dog, EVEN THE PICKLES AND ONIONS ARE STEAMING!!! THEY MICROWAVED THE ENTIRE HOT DOG WITH THE CONDIMENTS ON IT, INCLUDING THE PICKLES AND ONIONS!!!...NASTY!!! The Banana Split was good, but the dog was NASTY. I have had bad experiences with "DQ's" food in the past- by now I should know better. read more

Dairy Queen on 11th Street Niles Michigan. The first time I had ever been there. Just two weeks ago a girl with pink hair was very rude and nasty literally stuck her tongue out at me while I was sitting out in the parking lot eating my ice cream. A store manager was also out in the parking lot I believe the girl with the pink hair called her Willy or Willow who was also very rude. Other workers we're out in the parking lot at closing making out with their boyfriends are boys who came to the store. Very discouraged by how all of this looked.
