It was a little cool that evening so not lots of guests in the place. Nice to be able to serve your own yogurt. The staff was helpful putting on toppings. Update: 8-12-17 My friend treated me here today. Free is always great. I had the Cheesecake, Cable Car Chocolate and Hawaiian Pineapple. Ouch I ate 11.2 oz. The Hawaiian one was very tasty as well as the other two. I like that they give you free water and lemonade. The people are always very friendly and helpful. I try to come get her every other week or sooner. Old Review This is my favorite place for Sorbet and frozen yogurt. I had the pomegranate/raspberry Sorbet and wow the taste was wonderful. My mother had a bunch of different flavors. My mother was very happy with the yogurt. As always we love this place. We try to come here 1-2 times a month. read more

When it opened Let's Spoon became a South Bend classic. Its first location is right near Notre Dame across from the Backer. Even though are multiple locations now, the Edison Road is my favorite for a few reasons. 1. It's the original and everyone knows nothing beats the original. 2. It really brought some life to that area when it opened and I think help integrate ND students with South Bend. I love that! 3. Yeah local! The colors are fun and inviting and I like that there is indoor/outdoor seating. I've only sat inside when absolutely necessary like when I still get froyo in the dead of winter. But I try to sit outside as much as I can, so I like that they added a few tables in addition to the original bench. The flavor selection is pretty limited, but Cake Batter has been there every time I've gone and I love it! I pretty much use it as my base and maybe mix it with Cable Car Chocolate or a new flavor if I'm feeling adventurous. The toppings bar is top notch! I load the cookie dough bits among many other items, which is probably why $0.49/ounce turns into $4-5 pretty quickly for me. I love spooning...up their froyo ;) read more

What makes Let's Spoon different is that they are not a franchise and are locally owned and operated. The setup is pretty simple - you walk in, have the option of sampling the current flavors, make you selection, fill your cup and add the toppings. The price is 45 cents per ounce (pretty big serving for around $4). The toppings range from cereal, candy, fresh fruit, etc. Let's Spoon does a decent job with social media by posting current flavors on their Facebook page, They post a name of the day to receive 6 oz free and they offer 10 oz free on your birthday. This is a lovely little serve-yourself froyo place with pretty much unlimited samples if you so please, with small cups to try out the flavors before committing, and super-functional dividers to separate your froyo flavors (as I did), for those who want to try out everything. The chocolate flavor was definitely my favorite, being creamy and very rich in flavor, but the acai and Irish cream flavors that I tried were also delicious. They have pretty much every topping imaginable, including many kinds of cut fruit, different chocolates, and a variety of sauces. I LOVE Let's Spoon :) They always have my favorite classic tart fro yo along with the freshest fruit and chocolatey goodies to top it with. Other things I love: 1. Local owned 2. The points system (Each time you go you earn points.... and points earn you $$ off and free fro yo!) 3. So glad there is now a do-it-yourself frozen yogurt shop in South Bend! The flavors are constantly changing, and are amazingly true-to-life. Who would have thought you could make yogurt taste EXACTLY like a snickerdoodle? This is frequented more by college students than families, so fewer sticky kids with their hands in the toppings than the one out in Granger. Parking can be an issue, but it's worth the hassle to get my fix! read more

This is a cute shop, and good froyo as well. The clear spoons are color changing!!! They also have sample cups if you don't know what you want. There are a good selection of froyo. There are plenty of toppings that you can put onto your froyo, anything from your usual boba to your gummy treats, I recommend. read more

I love Let's Spoon. Their flavor selection is pretty limited, but their topping selection makes up for that. They even added some new toppings based on what customers were suggesting! They have a nice social media presence too, including a "Name of the Day" promotion where they will post a name on their Facebook page and if it's your name you can get some free fro yo. Although they didn't give me any when the name of the day was Emma... Close enough, I say!! They used to have a thing where you got free fro yo after you bought it a certain number of times, but I believe they stopped doing that. If you're a true frozen yogurt fan, I recommend following along with some of their weekly specials. Sometimes you can fill up your cup for a flat amount, sometimes buy one get one free, etc. Great place for dessert that is *sort of* not bad for you. Probiotics or something, right? :) read more

This was my first time at this establishment and my last. First, when I walked, there was no one to be found as the person working felt social hour at a back table out of sight with their friends was more important and didn't even acknowledge me until I was nearly ready to check out. Secondly, many of the items in opaque containers are not labeled, including peanut sauce and peanuts which I only discovered because I asked. Went in to get out of the rain and the worker was super nice and accommodating. I got some frozen yogurt for my daughter and home. Plenty of toppings to choose from, so I had to call my daughter to see what she would like! They are a really a nice local run establishment. The inside is really spacious so you do not feel crowded. I went in to let's spoon recently, & I donno if it was bad timing but each time I left with no yogurt!!! Why might you ask?? Because they were out.!!! The 1st time this happened the cashier told me their shipment hadn't come in yet, AND.... they were out of 5 different flavors!!!! To top it off their credit machines were down!!!! The 2nd time I went back a week or two later, they were still out of the same flavors!!!! I talked to the manager, she told me " Well we have new vendors" I told her you guys need to call the old vendors back up. All I can say is some way to run business. read more

Nice little place to visit. Laid back, staff is friendly. Been here a few times, 2 people I remember most are Miranda and Jessica. They are real gems! Miranda is a sweet hometown kind of girl, Jessica is very out going, both make you feel at home. Very helpful and not over bearing. The only 5 star I ever gave! Cake batter is a must but I haven't dis-liked anything I've tried. They do a great job rotating in new flavors and have a big variety of toppings ranging from I'm on a diet to holy crap is this gonna taste good. It has a tv, Internet, and is very child friendly. Don't expect them to be open according to their hours posted. We drove from Elkhart (30 min) for some frozen yogurt and my husband went to open the door and the young lady looked at him with guilty eyes because the door was locked and then looked away immediately like she knew she shouldn't have closed yet. Cute little shop. They did not have as many frozen yogurt flavors as other similar places that I have been to. Prices seemed reasonable.

Last time we were there was nearly six months ago. Experienced same issue as before: worker did not know how to check balance on gift cards and did not know how to process paper gift certificate. We had experienced that problem before at this location. Contacted merchant by email to complain and seek resolution. Merchant apologized and said they'd like to make right. Admitted some new hires for summer season may not have known how to do everything. But again this has been ongoing problem. The worker who responded said she was sharing email with the general manager. Never heard from general manager. It's now been six months. I'm sure the amount on three gift cards and paper certificate are small and we can live with losing the money, but it is the complete lack of adequate response that upsets us most. I haven't been to the Edison Rd. location. I have been to the Ireland Rd. location. It was delicious and amazing! You can fill up on samples alone. It was fun to be able to try all the flavors and then decide. I was impressed by the variety of toppings they offer. We didn't have overflowing dishes and the whole family got a treat for under $10. I got a frozen yogurt and wanted some cookie dough on the side and the very attentive and sweet cashier Jessica grabbed a cup as soon as I asked and checked me out very quickly. This place just didn't cut it for me. The frozen yogurt seemed too...icy and grainy. Out of all fairness, my sister and husband loved it.

If I could rate zero stars I would. Closing time on Yelp says they close at 10. The neon sign in the window says "Open" in flashing lights. However, store is definitely not open and serving customers at 9:30. At least do me the courtesy of turning the open light off to avoid wasting my time getting out of traffic. read more

Love it, love it! Had my first experience of this type at the Red Mango in Bloomington, which is amazing. While not as many flavors or topping choices as Red Mango, Let's Spoon is a great alternative to Coldstone. They rotate the flavors often so everyone will find a flavor or two they like. I always get a fruit flavor with fresh fruit toppings and have never been disappointed. We go there several times a week in warmer weather and I am sure have gained a pound or two because of it! Staff is always friendly. Beware though; you will have a $6 bowl of ice cream in a hurry; the weight adds up quickly with those toppings, but it is YUMMY! $.45 per ounce is standard. read more
