Dairy Queen was one of my favorite places to go and this was our first and last time coming to this Dairy Queen. After ordering we were standing there for over 20 minutes mind you if it was busy we would not have cared but we were the only people there. Our Oder was 1 barbecue chicken tender basket and 4 plain chicken tender basket, We got 1 plain chicken tender basket and 3 barbecue chicken tender basket. My uncle went in and politely told the cashier that they made a mistake and asked if we could get two plain chicken tender baskets. The cashier went and got the manager who was extremely rude and made my uncle pay for the basket ls even though that was their mistake. The tables and floors were very dirty and sticky. I don't normally write this reviews like this, but the abysmal food safety practice merited one. None of the tables were clean and one even had garbage on it. Then there was the issue of employee practice. No gloves were worn du the prep of my ice cream, which is a food safety law violation. The same employee then proceeded to clean off the top of my freeze with here bare hand, and move on to the next order without washing her hands. I was scared to eat my freeze. read more

This DQ is the closest to us so we will go through drive through- then afterwards I reminded of the poor service and wish I didn't order. Yesterday I ordered the $5 buck lunch and a large order of onion rings. Had to pull to the side and wait and wait, finally my order came. Got down the street and opened my bag, no onion rings- French fries. I turned around and went back to DQ to get a refund. The manager on duty was defensive for her staff. She ask me if I paid for onion rings. I told her that doesn't matter, I ordered onion rings, and I wasn't given a receipt so I don't know if I paid for onion rings. She refunded me and in a ugly meaning way told me to have a good day. If you go to this DQ, check and double check that your order is right. The staff is unfriendly and not well trained and definitely no one knows about customer service. read more

We ordered a medium Oreo blizzard and a medium caramel moolate and two large waters, to stay. The place was fairly steady as far as busy-ness goes when we first arrived. The staff seemed attentive but not very 'friendly' in that they just didn't talk much with us (greet us, ask us what we would like, tell us 'enjoy,' etc.) The moolate was a smidge overfilled so it was messy, and they didn't bring a spoon or straw for it so we had to get that ourselves. The blizzard was good except it wasn't quite filled to the top and the bottom couple inches of blizzard was just vanilla ice cream, no Oreo mixed in. The restaurant become much busier as we were finishing up and leaving. Overall, we came in here to cool off from the heat and enjoy a cold treat so that was good. Some friendlier service would be suggested. read more

Slowest drive thru service in Sioux Falls, about a 5 minute wait for each car in front of you, 15-30 minute wait not unusual and have never got my food through the window, always gotta pull ahead and wait for them to run it out. I'll never go there for lunch again. read more
