I thought I would try their fish sandwich today because I have a friend who raves about them. The first thing I noticed was they had a nice slightly toasted bun. It was very good. But the 2nd thing was the size of the sandwich. Its a kids size sandwich, but eating all the fries helped fill me up. The fish itself was fresh out of the fryer. It was hot! The fish had a nice crisp crust on it and the fish was cooked perfect inside. But I think the fish needs more seasoning in that batter. The taste was kind of bland. The tar tar sauce on the sandwich was pretty mild as well and for me could use a little more zing. I would rate this sandwich a 3.5, with more seasoning and a bigger size it would be a 5. read more

We just had food from this south Louise location. The driver thur rep was Funny, nice and very helpful. We get him every so often and never fails at putting smile on our face. We ordered: 3 corndogs, 1 Single butter burger with grilled onions ketchup and 1 Family fries. We also added 3 cups for cheese sauce. Its a must have with their fries. Everything came out hot fresh and perfect. Fries where crisp, salty and soft on the inside. The cheese sauce took it up a notch to yummyville. Alongside that the corndogs had a cripsy sweet outside with a soft and savory inside. The burger was flawless and tasty. In my opinion, Culvers has the best smash burgers and corndogs in town. :) Thank Culvers!! read more

I normally love Culver's but this particular location is not as nice as all the other ones. It is far too small for the volume they do. There is no room to stand while you wait at the registers. The floor is filthy. Dark black caked on dirt is everywhere in the lobby. They could easily keep it clean if they scrubbed/ mopped regularly. Even now if they just had a company steam clean, it would look better. Today we waited 17 minutes for our food after ordering. It was dinner time but not super busy. None of the lobby tables were clean and it was so loud in the lobby it was unpleasant to eat there. We love Culver's burgers but today we tried their chicken sandwiches. They were not good. We will stick to their burgers in the future. Parking lot is large but hard to get around in because of the layout. I seriously love Culver's but this location is just not up to standards. It needs to be remodeled and they need to clean the place. even the exterior looks horrible. You can see hail damage everywhere.I hope whoever owns this franchise reads this because I want to eat here more often. I just can't in the current state. read more

This is a typical, for me, experience at Culver's though this one is quite busy due to time of the day. A star was lost today as had told the cashier wanted some cookies and cream ice cream. Little known to me she translated that into an oreo sundae, boooooo. If had known that it would be vanilla soft serve ice cream typed with oreo's would've gotten a pint to go. Disappointed but lesson learned. read more

Cheese balls were incredible! We quickly stopped by for an order of cheese balls; we walked in to place our order to-go. The wait was rather long, 10-15 mins for a single item. Staff was friendly. Cheeseballs were very tasty, worth the wait! read more

We did mot feel it was safe to be driving and eating. We live an hour away. Can't go eat inside and apparently can't eat in your car outside. My dine-in dinner experience was very good. The service at the counter was fast, friendly, and professional. My chicken sandwich tasted great, with a generous portion of meat on a tasty bun with fresh veggies. First time at a Culver's. I had heard rave reviews, but overall, I didn't think the burger was all *that* great. The fries were pretty good, as were the onion rings. Ended the meal with a "cement mixer," which is like a Blizzard or something. It was good, too, but I couldn't finish it. Apparently the fish is good. They get extra bonus points for getting all our meals correct--there were 13 of us. And many of us were newbies and I thought for sure we had confused the poor kid behind the counter--nope! P.S. I agree with the other reviews on here that the customer service is quite bad. All of the employees that do appear to be under the age of 18 are extremely rude, apathetic, and laugh at the customers behind their backs. I'm writing this review to advise everyone to avoid the Louise Ave location at all costs! I have visited this location multiple times now and something has gone wrong each time. My order was taken incorrectly the first time and the employees promptly brought a new order to the table however the second round of food was incorrect as well. I brought my order back up to the counter and asked them to fix it once again. Later, a new order was brought out and yet again it was incorrect. I finally went up there and asked why no one behind the counter was bothering to care. A girl behind the counter took out a pad and pen and wrote the order down and gave it to the cook. As I turned around and went back to sit down, my family noticed all of the employees snickering and laughing at me. A month ago I had visited this location to eat inside approximately 45 minutes before closing time and an employee was literally hitting my foot with a vacuum! Everyone was extremely annoyed that any customers were even inside the restaurant! A couple of weeks later when our family visited, the employees screwed up on our dessert ice creams. I went back into the store three separate times asking them to keep fixing it. On the last time, the order was STILL incorrect but I left out of frustration. I will NEVER go back to this location! The Minnesota Ave location is completely different and employees there actually care! Dont go here! read more

This Culvers should have its franchise revoked! I am a Culvers fan, eating at one across the upper Midwest 1-3 times/week usually. Filthy place sums it up. The tile, the carpet, the food and paper on the floor. Needs a deep cleaning - badly. Visit the Culvers in Chanhassen, MN and see how to run a Culvers. They got my order wrong. I ordered the pot roast meal (on a plate with mashed potatoes and gravy with coleslaw side. Instead, it came with roast beef sandwich and some mashed potatoes in a cup! While eating, near closing, had to listen to a manager barking out orders to the staff. Absolutely the worst Culvers I've ever eaten at. read more

First Culver's experience with a SUV full of people on a cross country trip (7 - three adults and 4 kids crammed into an Acadia) and it was amazing. Apparently a fairly representative example of the Culver's franchise, rather clean and rather busy at lunchtime. The toilet paper was not fully stocked in all stalls. Service was polite and the order was delivered correctly. The amount of food for the dollar is large. It did not take any waiting time to get redeem our certificates for free custards (free with any kid's meal). The ni'ced coffee is not a very great deal because it is mostly ice, and tastes essentially like a store-bought chocolate milk with some coffee mixed in. The temperature was not too cold, and it was comfortable to remain in the restaurant for the duration of our meal. There are some nice picnic tables outside as well. read more

I love Culvers, but I'm always irritated when I leave this place. I have been here 4 times. Very slow service every time. The first time was very slow, even for ordering 2 concrete mixers. They got the order wrong once. I decided to give them a couple more chances before I wrote a review. Every time I only ordered concrete mixers, and every time it took them over 10 minutes to get them to us. Everyone working here seems to be under age 16, and there is no hurry or sense of urgency. I wrote this review while waiting for my last order, and they got one of the 2 concrete mixers wrong. I don't think I will be coming back, even though I love Culvers. read more

There was an employee, a young man, holding the door open for our family when we arrived, welcoming us. He took our order and was charming, helpful and organized even with our 7 person disjointed ordering situation. My 14 yr old son, of all people, was so impressed by this employee that he wanted to tip him. We were unsuccessfully hunting for cash and a gentleman from the next table who heard the whole story handed my son $5 for the tip saying his heart was warmed by what he was hearing. It was one of the best warm-fuzzy moments we've ever had at a restaurant! The food was all very good too. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly seasoned and burgers were great. read more

A quick stop for dinner between events, it was the only place open that didn't have a huge line. So the majority of us ate there. Sandwiches were ok, not great. The mixers should have been awesome and it was kind of disappointing. I can get ice cream like that anywhere. But, it was convenient, do that's what mattered at the time. read more

Stopped there for lunch after a flight back from Phoenix. I ordered the walleye dinner and was extremely disappointed. The walleye filets were dripping in oil. So much so it pooled in the bottom of the basket. The fries were not completely cooked. The soda was good though. What a disaster. I will not stop here again. read more

This place deserves everyone's support! I flew in late, and walked through the doors just before closing time. They treated me like the most honored guest in the world. They gave me some custard because it was my first visit to the restaurant. Jesse and the rest of the crew were outstanding! The food was good, but the customer service was out of this world!
