When we got to the store, we were the only ones there. We ordered our food, then got our drink cups. # 1, the ice machine was broke, so our drinks were luke warm. #2, there was only about 5-6 ketchup packs. #3 it took almost a half hour to get our food. $4 one of our party requested her sunday with her meal, but she didn't get it. When we were ready to go, she got her sunday then. #5 I ordered a dipped cone and one of our party ordered a blizzard to go. It took at least another half hour to get the blizzard, which was mostly thawed, and i FINALLY got my ice cream cone . A HALF HOUR to get an ice cream cone. Worst DQ I've ever been to took an hour and a half to get a cheese burger and fries, never come to this place

Food is way over priced and not good quality and they close when they feel like, the time for them to close is at 9 pm but they close at 8

This might genuinely be the worst establishment I've ever been in my life.. and for some reason I keep coming back... well not some reason it's because my wife loves their crunch cones and we only live a quarter mile from here. But I'm done going here ngl. It's literally faster for me to go to the new Richmond one than this one... and nr is 10 minutes from my house. Honestly don't know how they're still in business, this time it was so slow they asked me to come get the ice cream from inside because the drive thru would take a long time to get through. Which is fine i don't care but being inside watching them work.. I don't wanna be a hateful person, but that was the hardest thing I've ever watched not kidding you. I saw someone throw three full ice cream cones away trying to make God knows what. I saw them make one burger, the whole amount of time I was in there and they needed about 10 more for the drive-through. Absurd. Dysfunctional. But I'm sure I'll be back! read more

Closed early with no signs or notice. This was frustrating! There is nothing else I have to say.

Let me start by saying I love DQ! However, this location does not meet expectations. Although the food was good, the staff was not very good, the restaurant was also dirty. Could not find a clean table. Also, they were out of a lot of sauces. I only get chicken with buffalo sauce (personal preference) but they didn't tell me they didn't have any when I paid and just brought the food out without it. Overall I am disappointed with this location. However, it would take very little extra effort to make this location a 5 star DQ. Better management training and someone to clean tables whenever someone leaves is all that it would take! read more

Fantastic service! My large family all enjoyed the food and service. One of the employees went above and beyond when my son lost an AirPod in the garbage and the employee went through the entire garbage until he found it on the bottom. Stopped for quick lunch when passing through - what a mistake! Totally disorganized! Took 15 plus minutes for grill items. Is this a fast food place or not? They claim they prioritize drive thru customers. If we didn't go up to the counter three times to see what was going on we may still be waiting. Went to the drive thru when it was empty inside. So... not busy. Ordered a PLAIN CHEESEBURGER. Told it was $3.25. I gave her $5.25 and she hands me a bag. I pull around the corner open it up, and it is perfect! Except it isn't plain. And I didn't get any change. I get back in line and pull up to the window. Hand the woman the burger and tell her it isn't what I ordered. She tells me, "I didn't take your order." Then proceeds to hassle me about when I was there last... I say to her, "The burger is still hot!" You just took my money not 5 minutes ago. Long story short, they give me a new burger... not hot, cheese not melted and the bun is stale. Nice. If you're looking to exactly what you didn't order, this is the place for you! Every time I've ever been here something has been made wrong. Very wrong. I'm writing this now while staring at a raspberry truffle blizzard that they made with both raspberry and truffle pieces... But the most exciting part was the unexpected (horrible surprise) of peanut butter sauce mixed in that over powered the flavor of everything else. Won't be going back. read more

I would like to give the manager at this site, Justin Hollins a great review. I was at this DQ back in July and we had excellent service!!! Justin helped us at the register; he greeted us with a smile on his face, very positive attitude, and made sure we got what we wanted. He gave us a mini cake on the house, because I thought they looked good, and he brought our food out to us at the tables outside. He even helped us bring our tubes back to the bus with an extra hamburger and fries to share with someone else because there was an extra one made. It was exceptional service and we will be back next time we come to Apple River to camp!!! read more
