Stopped here for lunch June, 23, 2025. Got fuel at the station next door. Parked our RV out back. This DQ was very busy. Filled with locals. We ordered using the DQ app which has some glitches, but the staff worked around it. Very friendly staff. Very friendly locals (including the lady that owns the place). Food was hot and fresh. Due to the popularity of the place and how busy they were, the food came out a little slow, but that's to be expected. The place just has that "middle America, home town feel" to it. Hope it stays that way when the new owners take over. Would stop by again if we're ever passing through Kansas again! read more

Food was delicious, but took 40 minutes. It was crowded. An elderly gentleman also waiting for food could not get his complete order. When he asked for the rest of his order, the staff demanded his receipt, implying he was lying. Several people came in from the drive-thru who also were missing items. Staff accused guests of being rude, even yelling at one gentleman. We used to look forward to stopping here on road trips. Not anymore. read more

We were driving through Kansas and needed a place to stop and eat lunch. So this DQ hit the spot! The burgers and onion rings were amazing and the people working there were super friendly. It's hard to find a great place to eat when traveling and this DQ was one of the highlights. read more

Albeit my review is almost a year old, I can assume there's similar management and workers still in the same location. We stopped in here on the way to Colorado after work one night. Workers were down a person, and worked harder to make sure their service was as good as it could be. That being said- though it wasn't the fastest service we've ever had, it was good! We took it as a sign we should slow down, anyway. The workers were genuine and hard workers, and the food was fantastic and correct. Upon leaving, they warned us of problems we'd have if we were staying in town (we weren't, but it's still appreciated). Workers here care about their customers, and food was yummy and accurate. Was just there and not busy. SAT in drive through for 10 mins with not even a hello! Car pulled up behind me and waited. Finally, after driving 1000 miles today I was going to stop and treat myself. Waste of my work time! I got no service. Car waiting behind me...got served as soon as they pulled up to the speaker I sat at for 10 mins Did use the bathroom (should have waited for the gas station to pee). Bathroom was outside, not temperature controlled, stunk, and had several dead crickets and bugs on the floor. (That was before I was ignored at the drive up). read more

Terrible service found a hair in one of are burgers and then one of the workers continued to be very rude and disrespect to us and others in the restaurant. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Some people deserve to be fired. read more

I won't even get into the runny blizzard or condition of the building, I'm appalled at the insanely rude "customer service". Four high school aged girls working and we were CLEARLY a major inconvenience to them. I hate the impact a bad review can make on a business, but this has left me flabbergasted. read more

They guys were awesome, I was traveling through and didn't want the normal fast food off the interstate. So stopped at the little shop. Its a little house not the normal DQ. Staff was funny as hell, food was fresh and hot. And most of all EVERYTHING was correct and even ask if I wanted extra napkins because I was traveling. read more

I've stopped at this DQ a couple times over the years on road trips. I think they make great burgers, certainly the best I've had from any Dairy Queen. The Elvis/Marilyn Monroe/Rat Pack decor is delightfully charming. Hopefully I can make this a destination on my long I-70 drives for many years to come. read more

It is too bad that one Dairy Queen can be so bad as to cause a couple of customers to want to AVOID the other Dairy Queens in the future - but THIS one fits that description. My wife and I had been riding motorcycles through 100 miles of 100-degree heat and just wanted a simple lunch. Upon entering town this was the first place we saw. We have eaten at many DQs on past travels and usually have pretty good luck. We stopped and found a few people already seated and we ordered simple items straight off the menu board. It was apparent that the place was in some kind of difficulty as the one woman was working with four teenagers and was having problems in answering their questions and asking them to do things. A few other customers came in and had to wait to place their orders because everyone was tied up trying to make our order. When we got our order we found that my wife's sandwich was not the one she ordered. My hot dog looked like it had been on the bottom of the heater at the 7-Eleven for hours - wrinkly and dry. AND they forgot to give us our drinks and I got back up and stood at the counter to ask fir the drinks but the kid in the kitchen after 4 minutes finally got to me and said I had to wait in the OTHER line for the drinks. I finally got the drinks to find that there was no sugar on the counter for the iced tea so I had to wait even more for that. The people who had ordered after me were all grumbling about getting the wrong items and waiting too long. I don't expect perfection at ANY place but this place was a wreck in so many ways. Don't bother stopping. The sorriest part of the experience was that when we left and rode a half-mile around the curve towards the freeway there were a half-dozen other restaurants. Very disappointed in this DQ, pulled up to speaker to order at 9:03 on a Friday night, tried to order a burger was told grill closes at 9pm, OK so I guess that means chicken strips, was told no, the grill is closed, so I asked do you have any hot food avail? Was told no, so why are you still open at 9:03 if you do not have a full menu? I will never stop here again no matter what time of day it is. I suggest anyone else do the same and not waist your time it this not so ready for the real world DQ. You lost $25 ticket tonight, and my business forever. If I could give them zero stars I would. Absolutely the most disgusting restaurant I have ever been to in my life. The food warmers are right next to an overflowing trash can, with trash on the warmers. Burgers being cooked in the microwave. Lady working with a baby in her arms standing right next to the fryer, and a thick layer of dust over everything. This area must not require health inspections or they would be shut down. I wouldn't have given a star, but that wasn't an option. I ordered the Caramel Cannonball Blizzard and it has way too much caramel in it and it was extremely runny. My daughter ordered a cheesecake Blizzard and received one with berries. This is our 2nd time here in 5 years and both times it was really bad. read more

Please for your own sake listen to me. NEVER GO HERE. I gave them a second shot and both times it took 30 minutes to get our food. This place is run by small children. They put onions and pickles only on my burger when I asked for ketchup and mustard only. Who eats burgers like that? They didn't even get our onions rings into the bag. This DQ was not the cleanest, or friendliest. Service was OK at best, the staff was not very enthusiastic to serve us, they did get the order right. Food was what you'd expect at a Dairy Queen. Restrooms were out back and they were fairly clean. read more

I can't believe all the bad reviews I'm reading here. Was passing through and had a wicked itch that could only be scratched by a cold smooth blizzard if you know what I mean. Read some reviews here and thought it was worth the risk. Was warmly greeted upon entry by a polite young gentleman who immediately took my order. Total came to $4.02. I asked my buddy if he had 2 pennies which he didn't. The guy behind the counter immediately dove into his tip jar to gather the copper coins for me. Wow... what a class act. You former reviewers should be ashamed of yourselves. You paint a picture of young ruffians who could care less about your cheese curds and trans fats you shove down your pie holes. How dare you! These are high schoolers making minimum wage. This isn't a Michelin rated 5 star restaurant. You're not going to treated like a prince/princess from a kid who probably just started there yesterday. Just stopped in for some shakes for our kiddos after driving from Colorado. Not sure about the last review because the sign clearly states they close at 9 pm every night! Anyways, we ordered 4 shakes with whipped cream and a cherry on top. When we pulled up to the window to pick them up, the cashier said they were out of whipped cream and cherries!!! Really? At DQ? Not the best Dairy Queen. The Elvis and Marilyn Monroe decor is okay but over done. The food, well not so good. I had a "pieced together" chicken sandwich and our Arctic Rush (Mister Misty) Float needed more flavoring syrup. It's also way off the highway in, well, Kansas. There isn't much to offer for a quick bite in this area of Kansas so waiting for the "next exit" could be many miles away. read more

If it was possible to give a zero, I would have! On several occasions, we have given this DQ a try. Given that we LOVE Dairy Queen and stop at them often, we kept praying the franchise would step in and clean this mess up. To no avail... Upon our last visit, we sat AT THE MENU BOARD of the drive through for 26 minutes. Yup, that long before they EVEN took our order. We should have just left (like the guy a car in front of us did AFTER ordering) but we were a glutton for punishment I guess. When we got to the window, no one came to greet us or take our money. When they finally did and we explained the car in front of us just left after the long wait, they left the window, without taking our money, and disappeared yet again. Our order was correct, but it was difficult to mess up 2 small cones and one blizzard. ALL in ALL - from the time we pulled up to the menu board to the time we pulled OUT of the drive thru was just under 45 minutes. My husband joked he could have walked to the McDonald's out by the Interstate and back quicker than the time it took for us to be served. Needless to say this was our last stop at THIS Dairy Queen.
