This location is awful. The workers watched me pace back and forth out front in 40 degree weather with the door locked an hour before close. They then proceeded to make me wait another half hour outside in the cold since I didn't have a car. I ordered for the first time on March 15th, and that will be the final time I ever order from this Dairy Queen. Both blizzards came out melted in the end so it wasn't even remotely worth the wait. Good thing its cold enough out tonight to refreeze them, I know that for sure because I had to wait in it. :) read more

The service was atrocious we were waiting for about 30 minutes. However when we pulled up to the window the blizzards were melted. I went through the drive-through and they messed up my order and it was cold who wants cold chili cheese dogs, so I drove back around and sat through the drive-through for another 15 minutes got up to the window then they tried to park me when I told her I did not want to park because they messed up my order and I had already been waiting, she got upset and basically told me I needed to move so I told her to reimburse me. It was the young girl with the brown hair with short bangs and the brown sweater with a cross necklace on, and she then proceeded to reimburse me and take 10 minutes to reimburse my card and mocked me and basically was being very rude the whole time and refused to give her name and said they don't have to give a name when once asked for it. this happened at 5:10 on Friday, April 17th. I've been coming to this location for many years and will not be going back, the management really needs to retrain the staff who doesn't listen to the customers and treats them poorly when they mess up. LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My fries were HOT! My chicken fingers were HOT and i just witnessed the most perfect soft-serve cone ever made!!! I'm getting one too. I just went through the drive through. Due to noise around the interior of the drive through order taker she had trouble hearing me. I went inside that was the only noisy area. This was at 7:30 5/5/24 After struggling to be understood that I didn't want this on my burger and I did want this I did have to raise my voice to be understood. I was told the total please pay at the first window. Then before the microphone was muted the girl said "I hate rude ass people." Dairy Queen used to be the home town fast food ice cream place. Now it's run by the newest generation of spoiled teens. Like I said I did go inside and no one older than teenage was behind the counter. read more

We've been getting Dairy Queen Crispy Chicken Salads for quite sometime. The last two salads are nothing to brag about. First of all, today is the 3rd. of January. These salads are dated 12/31/23. Bought an oreo ice cream cake for my son's birthday. The next day during his party we cut and served two pieces and it was peanut butter cup. Luckily nobody was allergic. I called that night and told them what happened and Zoey laughs and says "what do you want me to do about it" and sits there. Terrible customer service, however I did get the cake replaced with the correct on the next day (had to go pick it up and take the other one back to them). ***I would vote ZERO stars if i could*** I was waiting in the drive thru for 30 minutes for a mini blizzard and had to get out of line and get out of my car to figure out what was going on. They served two cars behind me at the first window and left a car in front of me at the second window waiting for their food instead of pulling them forward to continue moving the line. When i got out of line to go see what was going on all the employees were in the lobby putting up chairs and all laughing as of they didn't have people waiting in the drive thru. So happy to find a great Dairy Queen! My husband loves chili cheese dogs so we will be returning. It's clean and the service was great!

I went in ordered a banana split and a frito pie. First they called my number i got up to get it. As soon as i sat down and looked at the frito pie i knew it was not right ,yes it had fritos and cheese,no onions or sauce it did not taste good. The banana split was melted and very small,looked like it had whip cream but i couldn't tell because it was a mess and melted for the most part. I wont go back ,i dont know who is preparing the food there. It used to be good a few years ago. Anyway i would not reccomend going to this place. There are much better places to eat in midlothian. One more thought they need to be taught to be nice to consumers. This is a small town and word of mouth goes far here. 1 star because the food was terrible and the ice cream was melted . I came today and ordered only two blizzards. The kid at the drive thru tried to hand me the two blizzards that were melted and dripping from the sides. I kindly asked him if he could remake them since I had to drive home and he started arguing with me about it. How disrespectful!!! Then I asked to speak to a manager and he came to the window and said that he was second in command since the manager was busy. I said that it was wrong for him to argue with me over wether or not that I wanted them remade. Then he has the audacity to ask me if I had worked in the service industry before and if I knew how it was. Very unprofessional and RUDE!!!! Worse service ever from any DQ I have been to. The drive through is pitiful. Unfriendly, unhappy workers. Awful place, went 3 or 4 times hoping it would get better but it never did. Will not go back and never recommend it to ANYONE! I would eat a frozen burrito at a gas station before I would go back to this DQ. I love DQ but not this one. Waiting for our food as I type this, so rating may change by the time I post. Just watched an employee take 6 steps past the counter, say meekly "201?..order 201?" And after a couple of seconds and no response..turn and trash the dip cone he was "trying" to deliver about 5 seconds before the customer came up to get it. Then he meekly called out my order #, a step past the counter and was turning to trash it when I called to him, got my blizzard and told him he should talk louder or maybe walk a bit further out to find the customer. He didn't like that too much. Next time he came out and yelled with a smirk, but gave the dip cone to the wrong person. When the customer who should have received the dip cone said something to him, he smiled and shook his head and instead of going and making a new dip cone, started someone else's order intentionally to piss of the guy who didn't get his dip cone. Walking into this place, you get such a bad vibe and cold reception. I think a couple of the employees try to be friendly but if they have to work with a malcontent like I described above, it would be hard to work with a happy disposition. I literally watched my food be made to make sure it didn't get spit on,dropped on the floor or rubbed somewhere. My food was just delivered and it was hot and very tasty so there's that. I never leave reviews, but this was just ridiculous. My husband went to Dairy Queen tonight to get me a medium Royal Ultimate Choco Brownie Blizzard. It was vanilla ice cream with some brownie bits on top and chocolate shavings. Whatever, I would deal with it. After a few bites I noticed a glob of fudge and upon further digging down it was all vanilla with no brownie bits and no chocolate shavings. This is obviously not what was ordered and not worth the five minute drive back to get refunded for $5.28. So I figured the next best thing would be a review. If Dairy Queen is going to charge this much for a medium ice cream at least have some pride and make sure the quality is there. I'll just stick to getting ice cream from the store where you get more for your money anyway. We will never go back to this Dairy Queen and I suggest everyone reading this do the same, such a waste of money. read more

This is the worst run establishment I have ever been too. Management is almost always non existent. They leave 16 year old kids as "shift leads" to run the place. Not only is there lack of actual adult supervision most of the time but they put 15 year old kids on registers by themselves to handle cash. They also make it a common practice to keep 15 year old kids until after 11pm on a regular basis to clean. Thought it was illegal to keep a 15 year old working that late but management and owner here probably don't care or are too uneducated to even know. By the way I've actually looked it up on the TWC website. When management is present one of them uses her pregnancy as an excuse to treat our young teenagers like subhuman pieces of garbage. The owner has been notified that there are multiple issues in her store but does not seem to care at all. I guess as long as people are stupid enough to keep giving her money why would she care. This DQ needs to be pushed out of our town. It gives the town a bad name and is teaching our young children who get this as their first job that this type of management and treatment is ok. Do your research people. If you want to go to DQ then go to one in a surrounding city. This place has the worst rating of any within 25 miles. There is one in Mansfield, Waxahachie, and Alvarado, all with far better ratings than this trashy joint. I wish I could give this place negative stars. read more

This place is unbelievably slow. Came inside, thinking it would be faster, but I was wrong. No manager in sight and several employees standing around talking like it's social hour. I saw 2 girls actually working while everyone else stood around. The manager of this place should be ashamed of themselves. Try earning your paycheck. read more
