I ordered the ice cream flight, and love the raspberry rumble and Cookie Monster flavors. We also ordered milkshakes, the s'mores milkshake had crunchy graham pieces in the shake for some surprise texture and flavor. The shop is in an old bank. It's 111 years old!!!! It still has the vault! It's so pretty inside. They did a great job on it. Behind the store a lady plants sunflowers every year. Thousands of sunflowers bloom! She said people will stop and just aww at them because it's so many. They sell candles, soaps, clothing, decor and ice cream! They have a nice little area where you can buy scoops of ice cream. They even make fresh banana splits! This truly is a small business that has a story just by using that bank to give it new life. (Okay, like four. But they were all great). We ultimately elected for a pistachio ice cream cone and a cup of Mackinac Island (loaded with chewy fudge chunks). The outdoor play ground is wide open and ready for fun. Kids get introduced to some farm items to play on that you won't get at school. The area is wide open so kids can run from thing to thing. The shop is cute, all pink with ice cream themed decor. Two clerks were making cones and working when we entered. I chose an Expresso Brownie Swirl ice cream on a cone from a selection of 20 or so flavors. A "single" scoop was huge, but I was able to finish it. And it was delicious. My husband had a Black Cherry with chocolate chips, which he devoured. Neither one of us shared, each ate in our own little ice cream comas. There is a bit of seating inside or outside, in the park, there is more seating. The staff were friendly and you could tell they liked their jobs. Prices were reasonable. There is dedicated parking behind the building. I'll make Libby's a regular stop on my visits to Greenfield.
