Roya immediately responded which I appreciated because it was so last minute and I needed to find someone and I'm glad I found Roya. First, when I say Roya has everything, she has EVERYTHING. From skincare to prep your skin, to makeup, to brushes, to etc. which was nice because I forgot my foundation but she had the makeup foundation I use and color! Phew, I was saved. I showed Roya what I was wearing and what I don't want and I let her do the rest. After all, she is a makeup artist and she knows what is best therefore I trusted her and she did not disappoint. Roya is great at enhancing your beauty and making sure your face is not all caked up. The hardest part for me with makeup is putting falsies on since my eyes are sensitive and I tear up but she let me know that she is great at it and I won't feel it or tear up and guess what?! I didn't!!! I was so shocked and amazed!!! Overall I fell in love with my makeup, Roya is wonderful and definitely someone I will return back to for doing my makeup! I knew I needed to find someone who could do makeup for WOMEN OF COLOR and Charrie EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. Charrie is so sweet and knows how to beat a face! LOL. I fell in love with myself at the trial and then again at my wedding haha. My goal was to have a classic Hollywood glam look and Charrie nailed it! My hair and makeup lasted the whole day without a touch up, even my lips! I was so surprised. She even did my mom and mother in law's hair and makeup and they looked so beautiful! I also paid for saree pleating, which was done by Ruchi. I had requested the pallu to be left open, so I did not expect pleats there. However, I did expect the pleats on the lower/skirt portion to be properly pressed and finished. Unfortunately, that wasn't done. When I pointed it out, she used a hair straightener to try to fix it, but it still did not achieve the polished, professional pleated look I was hoping for. At this point I was running late for my shoot so I had to leave. When the photos came back, it was noticeable in the pictures, and family and friends commented on it as well. That was disappointing, especially for such an important shoot. I would not return for saree pleating. I also offered to bring my saree ahead of time to get it pleated in which she declined and said no need (even when I mentioned for clean pleats).
