I have been to Daisy's twice and I give the hair cuts and color 5 stars. I give the manicure treatment 4 stars. The first time was a year ago and I had Sarah cut and color my hair. It was perfectly done. I went back about a week ago because I needed someone to fix my hack job of a haircut that I had from another "salon". I again had Sarah and she was amazing. She did such a great job! They may be a little on the higher side for prices but they do a WONDERFUL job. I also had the CND shellac manicure. I highly recommend this type of manicure for someone who typically chips their manicures. My only advice (and the reason why I only give it 4 stars) make sure that the base coat covers the ENTIRE nail. I found after I left there were a few nails that had a side not covered by any of the polish. However, I loved the manicure and will definitely go back :) read more

The salon is so nice and relaxing. I sometimes get my hair done here by Laura G. who is awesome at cutting and coloring! At Daisy's they always offer me something to drink, and they also do pedicures and manicures. It's nice to get your hair done in a relaxing atmosphere. I've never had bad service here and it can be a little pricey but it's worth it in the end. read more

I couldn't have been happier with the service provided, everyone at your salon is amazing, talented and so friendly and a true pleasure to work with. Heather helped to coordinate my appointments and was very responsive over email and helpful with setting up trial and day of appointments for myself and my bridal party. The wedding pictures were amazing, and our hair and makeup lasted throughout the extremely hot, rainy, fun, sweaty day we all shared. Cari was able to do a nice blow out for me when I had an event on a Friday afternoon and I needed to look decent. (I suck at doing my hair) Cari did an awesome job and she was lovely! In January I made a spur of the moment appointment for an ombre consultation with Kaytlin. I have to say every single person who works here is extremely nice, they are chatty and friendly. I was given water and offered snacks as well. I went in and got my quote which was fair. I have short/medium hair I had been dying blackest black and recently chopped off. I tried to grow my hair out of the color for the past few months - so that helped quite a bit. One of the things I really like the most is that the girls will look to Daisy for advice or tips, instead of trying to just wing it and do it on their own. Kaytlin was eager to teach me about hair things like why red dye is so hard to care for and why foil is used for bleaching. My first visit was unsuccessful to remove all the color from my hair but I was expecting that through previous experience since I had very dark hair. There were a couple of spots but I kept my hair tied up until I could go back. Unfortunately between appointments we were hit with a major blizzard so I had to go a bit longer! When I came back we finished up the whole process. I still feel like I might not be completely done with the color process/bleach process because there are a couple of spots but Kaytlin made sure we would have follow up visits and trims to help my hair grow. I look forward to a long and healthy hair relationship with Daisy's Salon and cannot wait until my next visit! read more

Daisy's Salon is the best salon in Frederick. I have been going here for about 3 years and now wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The stylists are talented. I get compliments on my hair color and cut all the time. Daisy, the owner, transformed my hair from being an unruly, drab hard to comb mess to having smooth, natural looking long layers. I returned to the salon after the owner contacting me about re-fixing my hair (I deleted my previous post abt my disappointment on how my hair turned out the first time and the stylist not willing to re-fix it w/out charging). Owner of the salon, Daisy texted me while I was out on vacation asking if I could come in and have her fix it for free. I of course was not sure at first but since she was the owner and I had the instincts she would do it correctly as well showing her the same picture I saved from Pinterest on the color I wanted (the same picture I showed the previous stylist) -- and just left the salon this morning smiling big. This was a very fun and friendly salon, everyone who worked there was really nice and I was offered water or coffee. My stylist, Jessie, was great to talk to and worked with me to give me exactly the style I had in mind as well as offering some ideas of her own. She did a wonderful job on my cut and color! I'm debating whether to go back, however, because it's very pricey. My hair is two inches long and it cost $127 for a cut and color, not including tip. read more

I just recently started going here to get my haircut. It is easy to make appointments. I love the electronic reminders. The girl that does my hair is friendly and I like the cuts. They are a little expensive but worth it. It is not easy to find, may need to give yourself a little extra time the first time you go. read more

I have been seeing Daisy since she started when the salon was Golden Orchid and then she purchased the salon and renamed it to Daisy's Salon and Spa I would only use the spa services: massages, facials, mani/pedis. I only saw Daisy twice for her fabulous up-dos. A good year and a half ago I had an appointment for a massage and Daisy convinced me to have her cut and color my hair. Stopped in a whim for a pedicure. I had never had one before and was visiting Frederick so thought it was a good time to get over my fear. I have sensitive feet and am a runner so I am also sensitive about my feet... Have really messed them up over the years. Grace was amazing! I had a really nice impromptu mini spa day when I was shopping in the area. Daisys was accommodating with my walk in pedicure request and I wound up being so happy I came in! Kaytlin did a wonderful job on my nails. She also gave me an eyebrow wax, which looked great as well. I highly recommend asking for her if you come in. I do think the nail service prices are a bit high at this salon so I don't know if I'll make it my usual spot but for a special treatment, it's great! read more

Nora was wonderful. I went in for waxing called a couple weeks in advance booked my appointment was told $50.00. I have been going to Daisy since it was Golden Orchid, but had to stop for a while. I finish my appointment go to pay and am told $65.00 despite being told on the phone $50.00. They did not honor the price I was told and the trip ended up costing me with tip 17.50 more then I had planned. It does not sound like much, but the fact that they would not honor the price I was told on the phone means that I will never return. They lost a long time customer because of this. I have been using this spa/salon since it was Golden Orchid. It's a shame they are dishonest Nora is penalized for this practice. read more

As an impromptu birthday outing I wanted to find a salon for a friend and I to get a massage, facial and mani/pedi. I was so surprised when Daisy's was able to get us in the next day. Everyone was very nice and professional. As a bonus they gave me a free upgrade to a gel mani as a birthday present. The massage was wonderful and the facial was very relaxing. I love how my nails look! No one was pushy about products at all. I will be back for sure and even want to go back for my hair! read more

The WORST salon experience ever. I thought it was be nice because the owner seemed really nice and seemed confident in what she could do but all she did was fry my hair. She was supposed to make me blonde and even did test strips but instead made my hair 3 different colors including some weird golden blonde that I did NOT want, red and some other color. I let her know that I did not like it the next day so she put another color over it which turned out uneven as well and she didn't offer to fix it. I also let her know my scalp was burning and she checked it and claimed it wasn't red so it should be ok. I ended up with sores all over my scalp. I was picking out dried puss out for days. I paid $400. She did not want to give me my money back and turned very cold but I ended up getting my $100 tip back. Still ended up spending money to repair my very damaged hair. I would not recommend anyone going to this salon. read more
