And, frustrated, set them aside for a long time. After revisiting them both we realized that it was a headspace problem with both stainless barrels. Replacing the barrels with Faxons, they both run flawlessly. But the only thing left that is Hardened Arms is that stripped upper receiver with their name on it, a painful reminder.
