She said a convertible takes all day, so we must reschedule. Today we drove there and the same woman told my wife they couldn't work on her car because she was 10 minutes late. The receptionist didn't ask if we could leave her car overnight. She told us if I wasn't happy with them, she knows a guy who's really good. I get the feeling the technicians there aren't comfortable with working on a convertible or they're not properly trained to handle the task. To save yourself some grief, find another shop.

When I contacted Abra to discuss it, I got the very distinct impression that they thought I was trying to pull a fast one. So I called insurance company and talked to them about it, they called Abra to talk about it. Abra was a little more responsive after that, and made me an appointment to come in to bring my truck. Given that I live a considerable distance away from their location, I'm had an appointment for several weeks in advance. On the day of the appointment they were not open. I have left a message, but I've not received a call yet. I'm hoping that they have a reasonable explanation and apologies for making me drive 120 miles round-trip to visit their location on a day that they were not open for an appointment that they made. We'll see.

We showed them in our recent phone calls on our cell phone that we only called them and the phone number was theirs, they were very sarcastic about being Sorry!! Called Dave's Glass Co. in Sioux City and he was very friendly and helped us out that same day after hearing our dilemma. I will only go to Dave's Glass Co. for any windshield problems.
