The picture showed the skylight frame separated and he fixed/repaired. Using his underlayment paper and my roofing shingles left over from a reroofing job performed 8 years ago, he tore out the old paper and reshingled. TG also installed a bathroom exhaust the same day. Very happy with the immediate service and extra work TG performed. We've several downpours since then and no problems. Very fair prices without gouging because of my circumstances.

Luckily, I found Luis, who came the same day. He immediately cleared the clog and cleaned out all of the gutters thoroughly. Update 02/17/26: Unresolved (This review was originally…read moreposted on Google and I'm adding it here for transparency.) 12/12/24: Still unresolved 06/16/24: Summit Exteriors did respond publicly to my original google review, but the main issue is still unresolved. I have not received any direct outreach by phone or email, even though they have all of my contact information. I also sent a written request in an effort to resolve this outside of court, and I did not receive a response. The outstanding issue is a refund for two skylights that were canceled prior to installation. As of today, that refund has not been issued. To be fair, the roofing installation itself appears solid. The crew worked hard and the roof is still intact. That said, there were several issues with communication, scheduling, and follow-through. Original scope of work included: GAF Lifetime Roof System -Replacement of existing skylight with a Velux Fixed Skylight -Installation of two additional skylights (with framing and drywall work) -Complete gutter replacement (Hidden Hanger Seamless Gutter System) -Hardwood decking replacement Work that was completed: -GAF Lifetime Roof System -Replacement of existing skylight with a Velux Fixed Skylight -Complete gutter replacement -Decking was replaced, but not with hardwood The two additional skylights were canceled before installation due to scheduling delays and weather concerns. At the time, my priority was replacing my aging roof (it was over 20 years old, with missing shingles and risk of water damage). I started requesting a refund for those skylights before the job even began in August 2023. The refund is still outstanding. During the project: The start date was delayed due to transportation issues, which pushed work into rainy weather. I experienced ceiling staining inside that required repair. Interior touch-ups were handled by company staff rather than a professional painting contractor. Landscaping was damaged during the job. A complimentary house pressure wash that was promised was never completed. Insurance assistance resulted in partial coverage (around 15%). Communication became noticeably more difficult after financing was finalized several months before installation. It was often hard to get updates or clear answers. While the roof itself seems to be holding up, the unresolved refund and the ongoing communication issues have left me disappointed with the overall experience.

I completely understand that their emergency roof project is a priority and we can not control Mother Nature. They apologized and I said I could send pictures for an estimate. I mentioned I would appreciate knowing ahead in the future since I also had errands to run for my business but waited since appt was confirmed. I then received a response that the owner no longer wants to pick up my project. We all have emergencies and work to do. It's just common sense professional courtesy to notify others when you can't come out, have an emergency, or need to reschedule rather than keeping one waiting without any notification. Then cancelling because someone tells you that it would have been appreciated if you notify a client ahead of time that you weren't going to show up. Though they may have been great with someone else, I will never know since that opportunity was lost with me.

They also took full boxes of stuff back with them when they left. I guess that is why It is leaking in the back room after they did the roof. They had insurance if I bought a certain shingle, the same price as the other shingles and it was mostly for wind damage. They did not register the shingle for that insurance, so basically they stole 300.00 dollars off of me. I put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, a month ago, but they did not put that there was a complaint on record after 30 days, if they didn't respond, you guessed it, they didn't respond. At around the same time,, I had my breast cancer surgery, and 2 days later I broke my wrist. I told them I was paying by check or cash because I would get a discount. They dropped their work crew of Mexicans (they asked me if I would be offended) I told them I didn't care what color or anything else, if they knew how to put a roof on, I was okayed with that. They didn't drop back about getting their payment that day, Early in the morning I got a call from sales, who said he was sending someone for the check, but said I could not because I couldn't write or sign it. He sent someone anyway and said he( would have someone help me write the check, I refused the person who came, I was still in my nightgown, and I was going to the bank later. They said the big boss was not going to be happy. So the big boss called me and said he heard I would not pay them. It pissed me off, I had to wait for months for them to come out to do the roof, after paying a large deposit, then showing me a list of 30 or more roofs that was before me, and he already had my check and it was a large cancellation fee. I said I was going to the bank, and it was the same bank he used. All I had to do is transfer the money. In total, it was over 11,000 dollars for a double-wide house, that was mostly flat. I paid probably 2000 dollars for the stuff they took back or more. I called them about the 300.00 dollars for the insurance, and they had a group of roofers go by my house, heckling me, I guess to intimidate me. You don't mess with a Philly girl, we just get mad!
