Patty Met is SO GOOD! This very inconspicuous Burger Joint / Dinner is a hidden gem! They have an incredibly aesthetically appeasing menu and the food is also great! The staff and owners all seem so friendly as well as friendly with each other which is comforting for this city girl which fits so well with the classic feel of the joint. Crazy that I'm only leaving four stars because honestly this was my favorite hamburger of the week. I've had one everyday because I'm on a quest. I ordered the 3rd pound classic with cheddar and grilled onions and diced onions only. Condiments weren't necessary. But they needed a better crust on the burger patty. Also diced onions weren't diced. They were big and chunky and slightly overpowered the burger especially when it was soft and under crusted. Seriously, I devoured this burger in like two minutes so, definitely not bad. I'm just on a burger quest. Next time I'd ask for the same thing but 1/2 pound extra crusty and it would be a winner read more

Won't be going back to dales any longer! Ordered the $10 jalapeño burger and they served it to me with ground beef chopped up and used pickled jalapeños instead of fresh. As if the cook didn't know what ingredients to use!! So waitress had them add jalapeño on burger but came back with all lettuce and my ground beef in small chunks and it was suppose to be 1/2 lb of beef...I was lucky to get 1/8th of meat! Ugh I'm so mad!!! All she had to do was get me a side of fresh jalapeños instead of demolishing this $10 burger. So dissatisfying and disappointing!!! I came in late one evening with my family because I was desperately craving a burger, and boy, I did not regret inhaling my first order and finishing half of another. I ordered the Chipotle Pepper Burger, and it was divine--the meat was cooked to perfection--juicy on the inside but crispy on the outside, the bacon was extra crispy, and the chipotle sauce was the perfect balance of savory and spicy. I enjoyed my burger so much that I ended up finishing half of my dad's Old Fashioned Classic, which was just as good. The couple who owns this restaurant was incredibly sweet and hardworking and made sure our orders were cooked to our liking. Even though we were one of the last customers (if not the last), they still put the extra care and attention to our meals, as was evidenced by the quality and taste of every last crumb we ate. We have eaten at Dale's three times since being in this area. The first time we had hamburgers and the last two times we had the all-you-can-eat catfish on Friday nights. The food is made to order and is very tasty. You get four pieces of catfish, hush puppies, fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw came in a small Styrofoam container and was very small. They will bring you more but it seems kind of wasteful. It's not a fancy place but we definitely recommend it. read more
