Jose discussed ideas for redoing the patio, 3 walkways and a small fish pond. He gave me a start date and started the job. His crew arrived each day on time and got right to work. They were nice, polite, respectful and worked very hard all day. The job entailed removing lots of old bricks, leveling the surface, adding base, and replacing new brick. It all turned out beautifully. Jose was very easy to work with, listened to what I had to say and resolved any problem if there was one. They dropped off a few samples along with an explanation sheet explaining the benefits of each. I was rather surprised by the price which I consider to be more than fair. I hired them on the spot and could not be more pleased. The work performed, punctuality and communication were all without parallel. I will say, they are a bit on the pricey side compared to other companies in the area. We had gotten an estimate for some powerwashing/roof cleaning and their quote came in the highest so we unfortunately didn't use them for that service. However, they do a fantastic job. There was a severe decline in the quality of the service with spots missed regularly and damage to our children's brand new swingset during service - A complaint they never responded to. There never seemed to be a supervisor on site, as opposed to the previous owner. Our biggest complaint is the billing. Their contracts are extremely opaque and prices climbed significantly from the previous service. Our "last straw" was when they tried to pass along a 55% increase in the cost of our fall cleanup. They tried to bill us for over 90 minutes of time their crew spent in the truck having lunch. Thankfully we were home to witness it.When we questioned it, it took over 3 weeks to get a response that it was a "GPS error" We're "one and done" with Outdoor Digs.
