I unfortunately have oily skin , genetics what can you do. Dalia proceeded to double cleanse my face and exfoliate, my skin felt so clean and not dry at all. Then followed that with Obagi toner which she gave me a sample of after because I loved it. Next came the fun part the extractions , which my poor nose was in desperate need of and honestly they didn't hurt at all. I had such a great experience with Dalia! Prior to going in for my facial, I asked for a little bit of her background/experience because I am very careful with who I let touch my skin. Dalia shared that she worked under a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills for over five years, so she has a ton of experience under her belt. She actually started her own boutique because she wanted to have more control over the ways in which she is able to help others with their skin. When you first arrive, she will talk to you about your skin concerns/goals to get an understanding of what you want to get out of your facial treatment. You'll then lay down so that she can perform a skin analysis to see what's really going on with your skin. For me, she started with a cleanse, then exfoliated, performed extractions, a chemical peel, scalp and neck massage, high frequency light stim to help with breakouts, a sulfur mask, and finished with a nice moisturizer and SPF. We both decided that it was a good idea to skip out on the microdermabrasion because my skin would be a little too sensitive, but it is an option that she offers. Her suite was very clean and she uses high-end products like ZO Skin by Zein Obagi. Given all that she does in a single treatment, I would highly recommend her for your facial needs. read more

DO NOT GO TO HER TO TREAT YOUR ACNE! I had a terrible experience with Dalia. I had been struggling with hormonal acne since high school and had developed scars. I paid for a $4,000 scar treatment about 5 months ago and was just seeing results for my scars. However, I was getting a hormonal breakout along my jawline and had some blackheads so she went ahead and did extractions. Her plan was to see me weekly for a month to continue giving me extractions and peels. This was a mistake. The procedures were too closely done and aggravated the crap out of my skin. Another thing that estheticians or ANYONE for that matter should never do is tell you NOT to use your PRESCRIBED medication from a physician. I was told by her to stop using my medication within the month that I was seeing her. I did not know that she shouldn't have told me this until I saw a dermatologist about it. This is was caused my acne to even worsen. I started to go back on my medication and she said I could not because the skin must be soft when she does extractions, which is true. HOWEVER, she proceeded to do my extractions on that day WITHOUT even steaming it. i am now royally scarred after spending so much money to get it under control. I asked her if she would be scarring my face and she assured me that she would not be scarring my face. however, she clearly does not know how to correctly extract. Another nurse told me you should steam the face and lightly put pressure on the face but she was hurting mine, which is what causes scars. Also, I had sent her photos of how my skin was reacting to the peels she was doing and I told her that I was getting more cysts as a result. She still told me to come in and said that my breakout from the peel was normal and then on the final visit she suddenly changed her mind and said that it was not normal and that I just need to go on acutane. She could have saved me the time of even coming that day. She also told me that she does not know why all of these peels were not working for me and compared me to other patients, making me feel bad for my skin. She also accused me of doing something that I was not telling her when I was doing everything she was telling me to do. She blamed it on a vitamin C face wash and said that that is what is making me break out but I had used this wash for years. I ended going to two dermatologists to get second and third opinions and both of them were extremely disappointed in her work. They said she caused an infection on my face and I am now taking antibiotics and waiting for my worsened face to calm down. But I keep getting new pimples by the second. So all in all, she should not have told me to stop using my medication, she should not have extracted WITHOUT steaming my face, and she should not have done such strong chemical peels / extractions so close together as all of this only aggravated my skin even more. I am so depressed thanks to her. Restarting my ENTIRE skin journey again thanks to her. read more
