I ordered a small, Italian sub. VERY DRY, NO sauce of any kind. The bread was soft. No crunch or tooth to it. Minimal toppings, no flavor. I, also ordered the loaded potato skins. I received, 5 skins, approximately 2 X 5 inches. One small piece of whole, under cooked bacon, and a small amount of cheese. I was charged for a small container of sour cream. Fast and friendly service, delicious food, and easy to find location! This is my go-to place for lunch when I am at work and also as take-out for an easy dinner if I am not up for cooking. I highly recommend one of their many tasty grinders, which can also be toasted. I prefer the spicy Italian the best! The vegetables are fresh and the sauce is delicious! I also enjoy their pizzas as the marinara sauce is amazingly tangy and sweet. They also have a wide selection of soups (usually 1-3 per day but they always change) which I highly enjoy. The service is always fast for me during lunch. I can usually get my food within 10 minutes. The location is super easy to find within the Marysville Plaza with the Tractor Supply and SVS Vision with tons of free parking. This place definitely gives off family style vibes and coziness. Stopped here on Sunday afternoon with a couple good friends. Each of us ordered from the menu, but when I ordered last from the specials menu, my buddies decided to change their orders. It was just a decent diner on the strip mall, but I'm surprised that they won't give up on its business. The price of the meal is very reasonable, especially pasta. The place is well-decorated, clean, and well-managed. I am impressed at the place just because the place has the cool stuff you would typically find at a tavern, such as a Foosball table, pool table, and a jukebox. It's a hidden gem off of I-94 on a strip mall. Only cons about the restaurant are the slightly confused service. Been here numerous times for carry out, only twice for dining in. Cute place inside with ample seating. They also have a huge menu with everything from Italian food choices to sandwiches to grinders. First time I ordered a sandwich, ham & cheese. It was really good! I liked how it was sliced, definitely out of the ordinary. It was loaded with cheeses & served warm, also you had a choice of sweet potato fries or plain fries. While the sandwich was good I highly recommend their grinders. We stopped through for a quick bite at an awkward time between lunch and dinner. Like, the SUPER early elderly crowd...3pm. Needless to say it wasn't busy at all and quite dim; none of the overhead lights were on but it had a good amount of natural light coming in from the large amount of windows. We sat ourselves and had to wait about 7-8 minute before we were greeted. Granted, the woman who helped us was running the show - the entire bar, kitchen it seemed, and guests in the restaurant. We ordered some wine and she was gracious enough to still let us have the lunch special, despite it being just a smidge over 3pm. We each got a grinder; myself the "Pride" which was essentially like a supreme pizza, my mom got the one with chicken, barbecue sauce, and pineapple, and my sister got the buffalo chicken one. They were all just OK, nothing fantastic. The bread was a little soft to be holding such heavy ingredients, it got soggy once the marinara sauce was applied. I also think some of the ingredients placed on the sandwich were likely frozen and when they defrosted while in the oven, it only added to the sogginess. It wasn't terrible, just not super hot/toasted or crazy satisfying. Each of us also got a side salad with the lunch combo and again, nothing special. Some iceberg lettuce, sliced onions, and a slice of tomato in a small dish that just barely wet your palate. Luckily, our service was nice and the wine (coming straight from the mini/single-serve bottles at our table) was just what we needed. Manager answered the phone (after being placed on hold by staff) by saying "what do you want?" and when I asked her name she wouldn't give it to me. The grinders here are awesome. Just be sure you are hungry if you order a large one, they are huge. I was surprised they have a bar. Its really a nice place to sit and have a drink and eat lunch. After waiting for what I considered a large amount of time given how busy the restaurant was and what I ordered I finally got my lunch. First thing I noticed was the canned mushrooms, and was immediately put off. Then I noticed they took the top of the sub bun, put mayo on it, then baked the cheese on that. OMG, I almost vomited. Ordered a carryout with a grilled chicken grinder with mushrooms added and wasn't really sure there was any mushrooms on it at all and the chicken seemed very light as well. We also ordered a large Philly steak pizza with Sesame added to the crust which we were told they don't add Sesame to their crust not really sure why there's even Sesame as an option on the menu for their pizzas is unbeknownst to me and with that also the crust was so thin that when trying to pick up the pizza it was continuously falling apart slice by slice. Horriable service. The waitress rather hang back in the kitchen chattering with each other then come out to seat their customers, take an order, and come back to refill drinks. The food is great but having it prepared they way you requested is very unlikely. All take out have been wrong. Waited for waitress to bring bill. Then at last I went to register to pay. She asked for the bill then realized she didn't even total it up. I had my debit card in my hand and she snatched it, swiped it, and flung it over the counter pass me and fell right on to the floor. The food here is amazing ! I was traveling through with coworkers and had to stop for the day. We asked a local about places to eat in the area and nothing was mentioned about this absolute gem of an eatery. We saw their sign and decided against the fast food options in the area, and we were glad we did ! We ordered a few different things off their menu pizza, sandwich and I had their Jack Daniels burger. And hands down the best pizza we've ever had,the crust was incredible and my burger without question was the best I've ever had !
