There is a good variety of food, everything is kept stocked, and it's a great value for the price. The restaurant is family-friendly, the staff are usually welcoming, and it's a great place to start the day. When we dine in there are normally no issues, but today we decided to order ahead and pick up some salads. It was about $14 dollars each. $29 something in total.... My family and I have chose Big Boy for our dinner several times since moving to the area. Big Boy had limited hours and limited menu during the covid 19 pandemic. They have since expanded the menu as time has gone on. I have always ordered over the phone. My boyfriend and I have always ordered the Slim Jim & fries ($7.99) They certainly give you a ton of fries with your sandwich. As a fry lover, I couldn't even finish the portion. Even during the dinner rush, I was told my wait time would be 10 minutes and each time I arrived on time and my food was ready for me. Staff has always been friendly. You go inside to pick up your meal at the counter. All employees wear masks. Looking forward to coming back for breakfast with a friend when restaurants open. read more

This was a nice little experience. Just dropped in for a strawberry shake and a spaghetti. I found it basically satisfying if unspectacular. I have been underwhelmed by the Big Boy restaurants in Macomb County. The one closest to home closed a couple of years ago, and it wasn't a loss. Imagine my surprise to find a Big Boy in Marysville that had a good fresh salad bar, very good fries and good service! We have been frequenting this place as it is on the way home from the rehab that my FIL is in post-surgery. It is one of the few restaurants open after 8 PM on Sunday, and we've been very happy with it. I do wish they had a few more healthy items on the menu, but it is a Big Boy after all. read more

Prices have really went up since Covid. Fries always come out soggy. Salad bar got rid of chick peas. Service is unprofessional at times. Cooks yelling behind the line. I spilled egg when making my salad today and some employee said "who made this mess on my salad bar!?" Done with this place for awhile. Cook the fries longer or at a higher temp. read more

My boyfriend's favorite restaurant is indeed Big Boy. As for myself, I've never been impressed, fries are usually cold and my tenders are never well done enough. We just moved out to the St. Clair area, not very familiar with the restaurants out here, we decided on Big Boy. I would just like to say the Marysville Big Boy changed my opinion completely on this restaurant. We ordered lunch around 10am, everything was great. Hot, fresh and cooked the right way. Hello. My name is Dominique Horon. I had a late dinner at your restaurant on Saturday night with my brother and a friend. I'm sorry to say we had a terrible experience. We were greeted, or should I say rushed to our booth by a very unhappy server. I could tell he was unhappy because we could see him rolling his eyes as we walked in the door. When he threw down our paper place mats, mine slid across the table and onto the floor. I thought he would bring me a new one. But he did not . At this time I would like to tell you that I am in the food service industry. I am a bartender at red lobster. I know how he was acting was not acceptable. The reason we picked your restaurant is because the annual St. Patrick 's Day pub crawl was happening in Port Huron and we wanted to avoid the drunk crowd. I'm guessing your server assumed we were part of that crowd so we wouldn't remember being treated like crap. He rushed us through our whole meal and loudly slammed our plates down both when he brought our salads and our dinners. It really felt like we were inconveniencing him being there. I also witnessed him being rude to his other tables around us. I understand that no one likes to serve late at night and everyone once In a while gets in bad mood. But there is a certain amount of professionalism you should bring to your job. He did not show that professionalism. Not impressed. Half of my food order was sitting in greese, so i tried to eat around it. When I went to pay my bill I told the woman at the counter about it and she made me feel dumb for not telling my waitress about the food while we were eating it... if I'm served bad food from YOUR chef why would I ask for more bad food to replace it? I don't care what time of the day it is. If someone is coming into your establishment to eat, the food should be great every time. The perfect place to "dine" with my little grand-daughter. We seem to end up in the atrium and that's the perfect spot for us. A must for us is the... ice-cold applesauce. It's a bit chunky and sweet and a great thing to share while we wait for the order to arrive. Family friendly is important to me and I think that Big Boy has had that figured out for years.
