Allow me to tell you that this location gave me some of the most hospitable service I have ever received! First of all, I'm a 30 year old that works full time as a manager and also goes to Florida Gulf Coast University for Biology and Chemistry. My tax situation should be pretty straightforward, but I was getting different results trying online services. I was confused, distraught, and stressed out beyond imagination when I saw I owed the government nearly $2000. Enter Maria Moore, "la Reina de la Noche". She is literally the sweetest lady I've met since moving here to Florida, and took on my frustration with an understanding and concern that I haven't experienced except from my own mother. The price it cost me to have her explain everything to me and file my taxes was well worth the peace of mind, a thousand times over. Please, come visit this location. Maria is a molecular biologist and there's even a nuclear physicist that works there! These people are intelligent, kind, and ready to help. Mr Kidwell did not seem familiar with the IRS tax laws regarding business losses. He informed me that the previous year's tax preparer had misinformed me and did not properly prepare my return. He became very defensive when I questioned his knowledge on the subject. Was quite hostile so when I objected to his behavior, he said I could "take my things and leave". Subsequent to this, I consulted with 2 CPA's recommended by business owners. As well as 2 business owners who are friends and neighbors. When presented with the same questions, I was informed that I was correct and therefore Mr Kidwell was not knowledgeable regarding this area of tax law. I believe this is what provoked such a negative experience in the first place. I would not recommend this firm.
