5 stars for the surgery 1 star for post-surgery patient care I went to Dr Sagoo based on a recommendation from Dr Hariri. My review concerns the practice, not the surgery itself, which went very well. Since my operation, I've tried many times to contact the Dr or his PA through leaving messages with the office and asking my questions on the Patient Portal. No one has ever responded to my questions regarding medication or physical therapy or any of the other issues post-surgery. I have never had this kind of customer care from any other doctors. read more

Dr Sagoo was the physician on both my husband's hip replacements. He is amazing to work with and has an excellent bedside manner. Beyond that, he is excellent at what he does and brought my husband out of two surgeries very successfully. My husband is currently pain-free and back to doing most all the things that he wants... And he is super active, including Pickleball bike, riding weight training, spin classes and more. Many times when we were in the hospital, the staff would say, that this is who they would go to. We feel very unfortunate that we found him and he was able to work with us. read more

Dr. Sagoo spent time carefully reviewing the MRI of the tear in my medial meniscus, thoroughly explained the injury and healing process, and recommended PT and icing vs laser guided injections and surgery (recommended by another orthopedist's office before viewing the MRI). He wasn't rushed. He was patient with great communication skills. I left the office with a plan/hopeful for a full recovery. I highly recommend him! read more

Dr Sagoo is caring considerate and knowledgeable. After looking at X-rays he determined that I needed physical therapy to strengthen adjoining muscles before having total knee replacement surgery. This will lead to a quicker recovery. read more

Can't say enough about my satisfaction. I had fallen and loosened my 28 year old hip replacement First doctor I saw had an x-ray done and said it was just fine. After three visits and his not delving more deeply (I kept falling as my leg "went out from under me"), I found another orthopedist who saw me several times, trying to solve my problem, finally ordering a CT Scan. She referred me to Dr. Sagoo for revision surgery. I had my surgery two months later - in addition to replacing my old hip replacement, Dr. Sagoo also noticed a difference in the length of my legs (result of an earlier hip replacement) and he lengthened my leg. It is so nice not to wobble anymore. Thank You Dr. Sagoo for listening to me and for keeping my family apprised of my surgery. Love the twinkle in your eye when you visited me in the hospital. I don't even know where to begin with this review simply b/c words can NOT do this doctor justice. In Nov 2021 I had a consult with Dr Sagoo and he confirmed what I knew, that I would need total hip replacement surgery on both hips due to severe osteoarthritis. Being a RN I knew what to expect and he still was very informative and my time with him was not rushed. We proceeded to book the surgery for April 15, 2022. Dr Sagoo performed total hip replacement surgery on both of my hips and on April 16 I knew that it was a success. Long story short I was back at work on May 15 as a RN in San Francisco. Dr Sagoo is a world class surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone with ortho needs. I most likely will need my knees replaced as well in a few years and I will not hesitate to see Dr Sagoo. read more

I had a routine hip replacement done by this Cracker Jack Doctor. I've been in for several revisions and my life is screwed forever. I don't know where to begin. I went in much better than post surgeries. Dr Sagoo broke my femur taking the first infected implant out. On my last surgery to put a new device in... he did not realign my femur. Now after 4 surgeries this quack has done, I still am in pain. Can't walk right. in constant pain. Limping. Still on pain meds. I'm fucked for life. Dr Sagoo said that doctors don't need to realign femurs because they mend on their own! This quack dies 6-8 surgeries a day! He should do less surgeries so he can help his patients. Does anyone know of a good attorney to help me? My like had been ruined because of this doctors carelessness. My life has declined in every way and I'll never walk right again, It was a biomet dimmer hip implant. It became infected and msagoo didn't treat my infection for 4 months! he removed my infected device after all that time then broke my femur. Then another surgery to scrape out infection. Then another surgery this put in new device and was supposed ti realign my femur. I even reminded him and he said he would. He is so busy that he forgot to realign it. Mo other doctors want to help. I've been referred to a specialist but no doctor will take another doctors mess up. Can anyone tell me how to slow this quack down. He ruined my life read more

Put off my knee surgery for too long. Doctor Sagoo and his team are first class. Wonderful experience for my tough situation. Surgery was done in Fremont. In at 5 am and home by 3 pm. First of all Dr. Sagoo shares an office with two other doctors that I have no comment about. This is strictly regarding Dr. Sagoo and the staff. My husband and I both go to Dr. Sagoo and we can't say enough good things about him. He's very one-to-one, attentive and thorough. We appreciate that he works with us on healing measures before jumping into surgery. The staff at the Medical Clinic are fantastic. They are so pleasant and go out of their way to help you however they can. We're thankful he was referred to us by our primary care doctor! read more

I had an appointment with Dr. Daljeet Sagoo because of pain in both knees. One knee had a tear shown from a MRI. In his office he was very short with me and his main concern was to see if surgery would get approved and did not answer all my questions. I received a phone call telling me that I was scheduled for surgery and he did not need to see me. He told me that he would schedule a MRI for my other knee which he did not. I had no idea what to expect regarding surgery, I did not get the chance to discuss my concerns and surgery was scheduled without my approval and for the wrong knee. read more

I went for a checkup with Daljeet Sagoo, I am waiting for my MRI result and my XRAY result and his office is can't get a soon enough date to get my information from the Doctor. The doctor is not available to call. I am in pain. What kind of a disgusting service is this? The front desk people are terrible human beings. They should be fired for these types of customer behavior with customer who come in pain. When you don't have appointments why do you add new patients. Dr. Daljeet Sagoo. this is a disgusting experience and I will complain to the insurance company about your office and to the medical board about this. Nobody should be subjected to this type of a treatment when they are paying premium for medical services. My Xray was take and no results were shown or discussed. MRI done and no response from them. What kind of a scam medical service is this???. Why would anybody subject themselves to these types of treatment by the doctors office? Dr Sagoo is really good. I got my knee replaced a few months back. I had a lot of pain and had great difficulty walking. Now I feel like a new person and can walk and run like I used to. Dr Sagoo is polite,gentle and caring plus patient. My wife had a lot of questions and he answered them patiently . I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends . I have a long story to tell....... I've been suffered with knee problems for over 2 years. I wasn't able to walk and do things I've always enjoyed. I have consulted many other orthopedic surgeons at Palo Alto Medical Foundation and got rejected without any explanation. My husband and I felt hopeless. Then, we reached out to Silicon Valley Joint Replacement Center in Good Samaritan Hospital. We spoke to Cathy Lee and she gave us 4 orthopedic surgeon's names. We made an appointment with all of them and Dr. Sagoo was the first one who has the available slot. On the day that we visit Dr. Sagoo, both my husband and I were nervous because we were afraid to get rejected again. Then, Dr. Sagoo walked in, he introduced himself, he looked at my knees, checked their ranges of motion then explained to us the reason why other surgeons turned us down. Dr. Sagoo did not turn us down instead he gave me a treatment plan. After the consultation Dr. Sagoo walked out the door, I looked at his back and said to my husband "He is the one". Then, we canceled other surgeon's appointments. 2 months and 20 days later, Dr. Sagoo did double knee replacement surgery on me. I walked the next day. 4 days after the surgery, I walked to my physical therapist office. My therapist told me that in her 28 years of practice she has never seen anyone walk in to her office after double knee replacement surgery, all of them were on a wheelchair. I was able to back to work in 3 weeks. Dr. Sagoo was thorough, gentle, kind, positive and very patient. Dr. Sagoo gave me a second chance in my life. My family and I are so grateful. Broke my leg about 8 months back. Ended up having surgery. Dr. Sagoo is amazing and very helpful. Hopefully after all my recovery (1 year total) i'll never need to come back. But if I had to go to a Dr. for any bone related issues, I would definitely go to him. He's very friendly and helpful and he has walked me through this horrible experience the whole way. A+++ doctor. Best Orthopedic Surgeon EVER!!! And the Office staff ARE AMAZING!!! I first met Dr. Sagoo 4 years ago for my shoulder. ( I did write a review, dunno what happened) My left shoulder popped out of socket at least twice a month for 15 years. Insurance wouldn't fix it, pre existing condition. I met Dr. Sagoo and told him that marital arts is my life, I am testing for my next degree black belt and I need my shoulder fixed. He assessed the problem, and did surgery on my shoulder. I followed his directions and did physical therapy for 7 months, and to this day I am doing well, I even start Olympic lifting. I had a black hole in my shoulder, it was NOT easy to fix BTW. I had nothing holding it in place, and now I am good. 4 years later I am having problems with my left ankle, and who do I call? Dr. Sagoo. I trust him, he is knowledgeable, smart, funny, nice, he does what is best for his patients and their lifestyle.
