This was an epic experience! Chris was the lead helping us throughout the process, the other staff members were amazing! I think their names were Nick and Nate. They made you feel at ease, they were VERY patient and informative and made sure we were safe. This is such a crazy fun experience! Trapeze classes are set for 1 hour (1-5 people) and 2 hours (6-10)! We had a group of 5 and there was another person that was much more advanced practicing with us as well, so our time was 2 hours. When you arrive and check in, you sign your waiver if it wasn't done beforehand. They have a water refill station right by the bathroom and you'll want to stay well hydrated! We walked to the holding area and got our lesson on stance and how instructions are given (HEP means go, etc). Then you'll start the class! There is chalk along the wall leading up to the ladder and you'll definitely want to use that! My hands were so sore by the end! Instructors are clear, but some are a little louder than others and it can be challenging to hear some of the cues over the fans. I'm sure they would get microphones if the ones giving commands were separate from the ones that are safety / on ropes... but they were fairly understanding if you missed a cue. Photos at the end are $10 and you get all the ones taken. They are sent via an iCloud link and then you're able to download them to your phone. I didn't realize they wouldn't be able to share the videos that they are taking (they are for review only), so be sure to either record the TV or get someone to record your attempts! My best one didn't get captured, but there's always next time! Thanks DCC! read more

Wow! What an amazing experience. For the flying trapeze class, you book a time slot online and they group you with up to 9 other people for a 2 hour time slot. Each person takes turns practicing one skill at a time until you work up to the "catch" -- this is where a staff member connects with you mid air and you come off your trapeze bar. I felt completely safe the entire time and the guys that work there are very kind, encouraging, and give great instructions. You are in a harness the entire time and there's also a big bouncy net below that you gently land in after practicing each skill. I can't recommend this place enough for all ages. It doesn't matter if you're an expert or amateur (like myself), the coaches make sure to walk you through each step of the workout to make sure we're doing the technique(s) properly and most importantly, safely. The staff here is super kind and inviting and makes you actually look forward to coming to the workouts on days when you may not feel motivated. Me and a friend came for the trapeze class, I had no idea what to expect, but it was such a blast! The staff is so helpful and walks you through everything, as well as giving you instructions while you are in the air. They go at a great pace and never push you to do the next trick if you don't feel comfortable. My friends and I went for a first-time flying trapeze class last week, and all of us, even the ones who said we would "never do a knee-hang" or any of the tricks (me) ended up doing everything we didn't think we'd be able to do. Instead of focusing the review on just how much fun and exhilarating the entire 2-hour experience was (read all the amazing 5-star reviews below for that!), I want especially to laud the seamlessness of the entire process. Once you get in, you're up in the air within 10-15 minutes -- the waiver signing, the introductions, the safety checks were all handled with speed and expertise. Never have I participated in a group activity that was this efficiently managed. The instructors (Donovan, Parker, and David) gave us all the information we needed to feel comfortable, and nothing more that would overwhelm us. These folks know that you're here to get on the trapeze and not sit around for a lecture on the history of the circus arts, so they get you up in the air ASAP. All in all, this brilliant time management meant that every one of us in the class (10 in total) were able to get on the flying trapeze at least 5 times each, develop upon very newly-learned skills immediately, and do more than we thought we could do -- exactly what they had promised. A wonderfully action-packed 2 hours that just flew right by, and I'll be sure to bring more friends the next time. read more

We took our 13-year-old granddaughter last night. She loved it! The first time up the ladder to the high platform was scary for her, but the staff were so caring, reassuring and knowledgeable that she was hooked after the first swing on the trapeze. We had all ages in our group ranging from 7 to 40 years old and the way the class is setup, everyone is taken care of by the staff. This place was awesome! Yesterday I visited for the first time and it was amazing. I had been wanting to check it out for a few months and finally decided to go! I was lucky enough to win a free session from my company right before the season closed. Everyone was great, Donovan, Mike, Katie, Mckenzie, even Thumper and Zena! They were so knowledgeable about everything and if you needed extra help they would take the time to explain it. We were such a small class we even got to learn an extra trick! If you needed a break they were more than happy to wait with you. I cannot wait to go back when the season reopens, I already booked a credit for next year! Disclaimer: I'm super afraid of heights so anything that gets me to jump off a 30-ft ledge is 5 stars in my book. The staff was professional and friendly. They walk you through everything with great directions. They also work with you on modifications depending on your body type. Shout outs to Donovan, Katie and Jayson for being patient with us! The set up is simple and at all times there were two people who watched you - one to get you hooked up and set up on the bar and then the other to man the ropes to keep you from flying all around.
