And it wasn't like 30 minutes in the beginning of the year, it was at random time when it shouldn't have been busy.

I'm going to be as transparent as possible and not sugarcoat anything. I truly love Chamberlain…read moreUniversity, and I am doing very well academically, maintaining a 4.0 GPA across my courses. The only reason I am giving CU a one-star rating is due to how the university is structured and how difficult it is to get assistance from certain departments, specifically Financial Aid. Trying to get in contact with them has felt like asking Mr. Krabs for the Krabby Patty secret formula. I use that comparison lightly because, honestly, this situation has caused me an overwhelming amount of stress, and humor is the only way I can cope with it at times. The issue: I have been receiving the same automated emails from multiple financial aid advisors requesting transcripts in order to process my aid. This issue began in October 2025. All of my transcripts were originally sent via Parchment prior to acceptance and enrollment, so I was confused as to why they were being requested again. Regardless, I reordered official transcripts a total of five times and also submitted unofficial transcripts at the request of a financial aid "supervisor." After submitting everything, I heard nothing back, despite sending multiple follow-up emails directly to her CU email address. Fast forward to February 2026, and this issue has been ongoing since October 2025. I am still without financial aid and unable to register for classes due to a financial hold placed on my account. In total, I have spoken with approximately 15 different financial aid representatives and three supervisors, in addition to extensive back-and-forth email communication. Despite all of this, I never received clear answers or concrete information regarding what documentation was supposedly missing or required for my aid to be applied. I was repeatedly given the runaround. Supervisors openly stated that they did not have access to see what information was being requested from me and were unable to assist beyond submitting "tickets." I currently have documentation showing 10 separate tickets that were submitted--not a single one was ever resolved. As a student who has done everything required on my end, including spending over $100 on official transcripts ($20 per transcript), I feel that the university failed to meet basic student needs. There was a complete lack of transparency and accountability, especially regarding financial aid, the most critical component in allowing students to successfully attend school without unnecessary stress. Chamberlain's financial aid department provided zero support throughout this process, and this experience nearly pushed me to the point of unenrolling. On top of everything mentioned above, my account was selected for an enrollment verification process, a process that should not have taken nearly four months to complete. All required documentation was provided numerous times and consistently neglected. Additionally, I received a DocuSign document from Chamberlain in November/December 2025 stating that my aid was approved and would be applied to my account. Despite this, I received yet another email from Financial Aid just last week requesting the same documentation once again. As of January 27, 2026, I finally received a call from Kristopher McKinney, who was the most kind, understanding, and apologetic representative I have spoken to throughout this entire ordeal. He informed me that they had received yet another transcript from Parchment and confirmed that a DocuSign approval was visible on my account (which I had already received months prior). He stated that the aid should be applied soon. While I am grateful for his professionalism and outreach, I will not believe this issue is truly resolved until I physically see the financial aid applied to my student account, regardless of how many "approval" documents I receive. Academically, this has been one of the most successful times in my life. Unfortunately, the lack of support from the financial aid department has overshadowed that success and created unnecessary stress that no student should have to endure.

Leslie was very patient and understanding when we spoke about me looking to attend. I am so excited that I am going to apply. They gave out so much information that with all they offer it seems impossible to fail unless you just doesn't do the work. They helped me make my decision to go with Chamberlain instead of ANY OTHER nursing school. Here to a successful career starting soon...
