Professors who don't even make PowerPoints and just tell us to read the book, tests who aren't even made by them and get mad when the class doesn't do well. A lot of students feel they're just being money hungry encouraging failure so they can get more money. That not the west coast I was told before applying. I remember a teacher having us attend a pro-life club meeting in which we were shown a video comparing abortion to the Holocaust (I was only 12 at the time and had just learned what abortion was). Additionally, there was a girl in my class who, still being a big Christian, very openly believed in evolution. Virtually all the other students in my class (and some even from other grades) made fun of her for it, and the teachers never did anything about it.

On changing to them from my…read moreretiring doctor in another town, I gave the support personnel my list of meds one of which was not recorded. It took 1 visit and 3 phone calls to correct that. I recently had a blood test and the PA said we will call you and give you the results. That didn't happen and I had to find the results myself. I will unlikely go back to them having found a small town doctor who came highly recommended from my retiring doctor.

It was probably one of the best decisions we've ever made concerning our personal healthcare. The whole 4th floor is dedicated to the care and needs of older adults. Comprehensive care in all facets is provided by the center. Dr. Love and the center's staff and aware of the needs of older adults. There are no rushed appointments or clinic visits. When visiting the staff and the physicians time isn't a factor, only the needs of the patients. The center is going through a major remodeling and looks incredible. Doorways have been widened for easy access. Again, we are so happy to now be patients of the UNTHSC Center for Older Adults.

For weeks they told me they were working on it. I was only able to register 3 days before the beginning of the semester started. Needless to say, I was not able to register for the classes I needed.
