My husband and I were having trouble conceiving. I originally went to a local OBGYN in Melissa who referred me to Dallas IVF for a HSG. I met Dr. Havemann who was able to review my HSG results and create a game plan for me. It was the first time o felt heard since 21 when I originally started my journey of trying to figure out why my cycles were so irregular and painful. Turns out I had stage 4 endometriosis and damaged tubes by the time I met Dr. Havemann. She referred me to Dr. Valenti to perform the procedure and I feel better now at 36 than I did at 26. We have met several times to discuss next steps and she explains them to me beautifully. I walk away feeling heard and seen and that is huge to me when finding a fertility team. We started my IVF cycle and mid way realized something needed to change. Even if IVF isn't successful for me I finally have my life back after getting my endometriosis removed and my damaged tubes taken care of this past year. The McKinney office is super clean and the staff is friendly. Everyone greets you with a smile from the financial side to the front office employees that check you in. My husband and I feel very taken care of and that we have a team of people who will do the work to figure the root cause and create a solution that we feel comfortable with as a couple. Dr. Havemann gave me my life back and that is something that 10 doctors prior to her weren't able to do! As a women I usually would here from OBGYNs that "I needed to work out more" "lose more weight" or "this could be a form of anxiety" How am I supposed to work out more when I have debilitating menstrual cycles? Thank you Dr. Havemann for knowing that I wasn't exaggerating my pain. Due to you listening to me I am able to exercise, be more active, and take control over my life now. I wish I could give them 0 stars. If you are looking for a fertility doctor's office where you are just a number and all they care about is taking your money, then Dallas IVF is the place for you. If you are looking for a positive, caring, clear & communicative IVF experience- I BEG YOU, DO NOT GO TO DALLAS IVF. Please know I could write PAGES about the terrible experiences Dallas IVF put us through, but I'm going to keep this as short and sweet as I can and tell you: PLEASE do your research on a doctors office that is right for you. The office experience is wonderful! Every time we walk in, we're greeted with friendly smiles. The office is very clean, and the lab draws are SUPER fast and painless. Their ultrasound tech is so gentle, and kind. She alone makes the experience great every time I go in for an ultrasound. I emailed them, called them and left the voicemail but no response. How can I trust this clinic I would spend a tons of money?

Loved the staff and Dr. however when it comes to the SURGERY CENTER And LABS NOT COVERED BY ANY INSURANCE. Our IVF bill would have been $10 k for the first procedure. (It was $1 k at our current Dr. and we got quoted around $1 k from a few other facilities.) Don't be 6 months invested in and emotional from the meds to have to make the decision to jump days before you start IVF like we did. You already have enough stress, this is the last thing you should have to worry about. read more

Reason for treatment: When I started seeing Dr Havemann I was 24 and had been under the care of a local OBGYN who had been helping me try and get pregnant since I was 23 so luckily I had a years worth of blood work and monitoring under my belt before I ever saw Dr Havemann. I had been trying to get pregnant for a total of 3 years using OPKs, temping, a semen analysis for my husband that showed everything was great on his end, the whole thing. I ended up having two blocked tubes. Testing: like I said, I already had a years worth of bloodwork and monitoring so by the time I went in, we just ordered some additional bloodwork and an HSG test. This test showed the culprit of our issues - blocked tubes. From there, Dr Havemann said we were perfect candidates for IVF. Treatment: I started my IVF cycle in January with stims. February we transferred and a couple weeks later we found out it was successful and we are pregnant! Monitoring: during stims I went in every other day for follicle checks and blood work. Now that we're pregnant, we were seen for a 7 week sonogram and will go in for a 9 week. Staff: the kindest team you could ever deal with when going through such a scary and uncertain time. I called multiple times a day and each time they were so kind, invested and helpful. IVF is hard and you become your own little nurse over night but they are right by your side through it all. They answer lines quickly, respond so quick - they know those little lingering thoughts and worries can consume your mind so on the off chance they miss your call they call right back. I've gotten rush appointments and they take care of you every step of the way. Billing: having a financial consult to go through your options on the most affordable option was perfect. IVF is expensive - but they offer options. Thank goodness as this was the only way we could afford it! Dr Havemann: so kind, invested and attentive. Talking to her is just the be all end all of your worries. She is so well educated, honest and dedicated to helping you get the family you've dreamed of in the best way possible. She greets you in the waiting room every time. You can tell how well she is trusted and respected by her staff and patients and she has truly earned it. We really wanted to like Dallas IVF McKinney, however their communication with clients is severely lacking. My OBGYN referred me and my husband to them since we have difficulty conceiving, and the referral they sent to Dallas IVF for us was never responded to. We waited and waited, and then started calling them to try to get in on our own. My husband finally got through to them and went in for a semen analysis, to which we were told results would be back within a couple of days for us. This was important, and a relief, since I had a follow up appointment set for over 2 weeks after my husband's appointment. We called over and over again, and sent emails asking for results so that I did not have a wasted trip to my doctor. A receptionist told my husband finally that results were in, but a doctor needed to look at them. This was still fine, and we had time. He still was never contacted. They had my husband sign over release of records to send results to him as the patient.. We still did not get anything. I went to my OBGYN appointment and asked them to call to which they did, and Dallas IVF McKinney said they would fax them right over. I was at my OBGYN appointment for over 2 hours and they were never received, so this was a waste of an entire appointment. Some time after my appointment, these were finally emailed over to my husband. No doctor ever called to go over what results meant. Thankfully my OBGYN called to discuss with me after her office also received these. After all of this, I still wanted to give Dallas IVF McKinney another shot for my IUI consultation, but yet again, cannot get anyone to return my call or emails requesting an appointment even though it states that it may take 48 hours to hear back. I reached out weeks ago now. We also cannot even set up or use their patient portal on their website as it does not work, which we told them back in January. This all is especially frustrating to me as I work as a medical receptionist for a busy multi-doctor practice, and we never let clients go this long without responding to them. read more

It's taken me a long time to write this review because I am not sure I can put into words how amazing this entire office is. Dr. Havemann is EVERYTHING you want in a physician. Literally. I became an accidental patient here. Not only is she everything you want in a doctor, but she has the most amazing staff-- every single person you meet will be kind, caring, and professional. You will feel like they are your family. They will lift you up in happiness and support you in sadness. They run almost always on time, but more importantly, they never ever ever make you feel like you're a "number" or like they have to be somewhere else. All the staff and Dr. Havemann will answer every single question patiently--- seriously, I asked at least a hundred at every appointment. It is clear that everyone there loves their role. There are no words to describe this office. The saddest part will be when you find out that Dr. Havemann doesn't do deliveries. Once you get spoiled by her staff, it's hard to imagine being under anyone else's care. read more

I have spent YEARS of my life at various infertility centers & have never encountered a physician so willing to explain the details of treatment to me. Her staff bent over backwards for me & spent hours on the phone straightening out the details of my treatment with the insurance company. I found Dr. Havemann's treatment strategy modern & appropriately aggressive (no wasted months of upping the dose of Clomid, etc..) The best part: WE CONCEIVED OUR FIRST MONTH OF TREATMENT! Timeline: The day before the transfer there was a meeting between Dara Havemann and Myself. We wanted to express our concern of the chance that the success rate of 70% may drop substantially due to the thawing process. Dara Havemann then stated that that was a worst case scenario and there was only a 2% chance of that happening. The day of the transfer, yes, the girl came in and showed us a picture of the embryo where she pointed with a pen and stated that the expansion was not where it should be. She also stated that the embryo displayed in that photo was not fully thawed and that it may continue to expand. I then started to cry and the girl left the room never to explain anything further. Dara Havemann showed up shortly after that showing a no-worry attitude, nor alerting us of any change in success rates or quality of the embryo after just having a meeting about those EXACT concerns the day before. After moving to the O.R., we were shown an image of the embryo before the transfer. This is where Dara Havemann stated that there had been more expansion. She then turned to Dr. Sadruddin to confirm what she said but Dr. Sadruddin disagreed and stated that there had been absolutely no expansion whatsoever. This disagreement led us to reach out to Dr. Sadruddin the next day to explain the same concerns previously expressed to Dara Havemann mentioned above. While we were only able to reach Sarah Booker at that time, she explained to us for the FIRST time that the embryo was in fact "half dead" and that this quality is rarely used in transfers. I would assume if you were us at this moment you would be highly upset and feel totally misled. When we brought this up we were told through email none of the events stated above happened because it wasn't in my chart! That all of this was discussed that we "forgot" The following 10 days I could not even dress myself much less go to work due to the infection from the progesterone shots. We called the emergency line twice with concerns to the pain as well as emails to the office where we were only told to take Tylenol PM along with the few valium we were allowed to have. It wasn't until we spoke to Dr. Barnett on the emergency line when we finally received serious concern about the pain. He stated that the side effects we were experiencing were not normal and immediately contacted Dara Havemann and directed us to see her asap the next day. This event also displayed evidence of neglect to a patient. Also after I was seen for a clear infection there was no follow up call, appointment nothing! This is the worst practice! See someone else! This office billed my insurance and collected out of pocket from us and was getting paid from both parties! I caught them doing this 3 times! Scammers! All they wants is money! They don't care about the emotional toll it takes! They don't think about how much it costs you physically, emotionally and mentally! The public should know! read more

I love this clinic. Not only because they helped us get pregnant, but because of their friendliness. Infertility is not a fun time, but they manage to stay positive. I always felt relaxed and confident in their abilities. Everything was fantastic.
