New and must try brunch place in St Croix falls and Taylor falls area. Plenty of parking space, new and remodeled location with more tables and spaces to dine inside. But what really got us was service and food; Sophie was our server and , she is very friendly , attentive, kind and with the best recommendations. The food was delicious, great quality and big portions. We ordered the Steak Sammy, Salmon egg Benedict and Mimosas. Everything was beyond our expectations. The Mimosa is made with real natural orange juice so definitely makes a difference. We popped in on a Saturday afternoon not knowing what we were in for. The cinnamon roll variety that greets you upon entering sets the stage. Flavorful creations and abundant portions served with a smile. It was a relaxing and enjoyable experience and the food was amazing. I had the steak sandwich and it was wonderful! The lemon based sauce was bright and unexpectedly flavorful. The pancake of the day looked amazing and there were so many menu items I wanted to try. I did see on way out that there were two half priced cinnamon rolls so I nabbed them. Our waitress was wonderful and offered suggestions from the menu. Dark, and creepy. Especially the guy that touches everyone and seems to be super present all the time. Food is ok, but this place is weird. Never going back. Made my wife super uncomfortable when the guy came and put his hand on her back talking to us while we were eating. How is that considered ok in a restaurant environment? read more

Can't believe I haven't been here before! This place is local and women led and had the best drinks and food. We treated ourselves with the mocha Frappuccino with oat milk and then had to try the homemade bagels- one vanilla nut bagel with sweet lavender cream cheese that tasted like dessert and one everything bagel with garlic bacon cream cheese. So so good. And then had the eggs Benedict that came with hashbrowns. I would 100% get all of these again. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. Great service and prices. The menus are posted on screens above the booths and bar area but they serve you at your table and then you go to counter to pay after. Lunch menu starts at noon. Lots of smoothie options, breakfast sandwiches that can be ordered to eat there or to go, salads, sandwiches, and so much more. A few weeks back we ate here the Sunday breakfast special. We initially went here because they were selling raffle tickets for a benefit. Decided to try the food. This wasn't our first time here, but it was our first breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. I had an omelet which was excellent. All of the meat was fresh tasting and of high quality. My wife had the eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise was good and tasty. Sometimes the hollandaise can taste a bit chaulky and of poor quality. That was not the case at all. It was very good. I would 100% go here for breakfast again. Maybe even tomorrow. read more

Came here the first day we were in town and came here again the 2nd day instead of trying something new because it was THAT good! I tried the eggs benedict and the biscuits and gravy. Stopped here on Saturday afternoon around 2:00. There were four of us and the food was disappointing and the service was mediocre. The chicken wild rice soup had good flavor but it was lukewarm. The waitress brought out the sandwiches but could t remember even what she brought out, seemed confused and slightly annoyed with us. We ordered two clubs and two BLATTS. There was a last minute change on the bread for one of the BLATTS but it shouldn't have been that difficult. My family and I were driving through town and looking for a good, local mom and pop breakfast place- and we were very happy to find this one! The pancakes were amazing and fluffy and they had chocolate chip and blueberry ones too! The coffee was good and strong and the eggs were well cooked. It's a small place and on Sundays in the winter only has 1 cook so not a super quick meal but well worth the wait! I would stop here again for sure! read more

This spot is a prime example of why I don't always trust poor reviews. My wife, 2yr old daughter and I had a wonderful experience there for Mother's Day breakfast! Our daughter had the kids pancake w/bacon and it was amazing, not to mentioned priced accordingly for a kids meal at I believe under $4. My wife had the blue berry french toast and it was extremely good. She also got a strawberry smoothie and was fighting my daughter for it, because it was so tasty. I had the everything omelette the exact name escapes me but like the rest of our meal it was well made and very good. It also came with toast and country potatoes that had tyme on them giving them another level of flavor. The coffee roasted locally close by was pretty good but nothing overwhelming while the fresh squeezed to order OJ really hit the spot. We've just moved to the Chisago Lakes area and while there are many other places we plan to try it will be hard not making this our regular go to breakfast spot. read more

Not often I go out to eat let alone spend special time with my Granddaughter. We went for breakfast late on 11/27, around 12:40 as they close at 1. They had a special for Eggs Benedict, something I rarely make and enjoy very much. My thinking is it is pretty simple to make and no one could screw this up, right? WRONG! Our meals came and I could smell a very pungent odor from the fried potatoes, appeared they were "savory" american fried potatoes? The herb used had the appearance of Rosemary that was fried on a griddle making them crunchy and burnt. Awful tasting! Not enough ketchup to cover up the horrible taste nor odor. The Eggs Benedict? Well to my horror I took the fork to check around the yolk and found clear egg white and the yolk raw! Gagging now I couldn't bring myself to even look at this pricey mistake and asked for a take home box ( maybe a minute or so in the mic?). The slimy eggs were the kind that would have landed me in the hospital with food poisoning ( yes I have had it from Byerly's French Silk Pie, something I have never eaten again as it nearly cost me my life!). Granddaughter's pancakes were fluffy but ice cold, butter didn't even start to soften let alone melt. New to this area I will never again patronize this establishment! And as far as the coffee goes? An air pot, really? Misguided by comments, this coffee was a far cry from the real deal, it was more like dirty dishwater! Run the other way folks! YUCK! read more
