I asked them if they could help me do something on the computer and the lady told me they definitely could but that they also have designated times where you can come in where people can devote a little more time with helping you troubleshoot. So awesome. While I was there I was also with my little one and I was told they offer story times and play times for the little ones. During the times i've been there they've also done coloring, painting, and fun activities like singing with them. This library is always clean and parking isn't hard. If you're taking your little ones there's also a park right outside as well as tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer fields and baseball diamonds. It's a wonderful library filled with the most incredible staff. Every time I come here and I need a little help I'm always blown away by the level of kindness and support. Thank you to all the amazing people that work in this library providing so much love and support to help our community grow. You are all valued and appreciated beyond words. A special thank you to Sarah, Chela, and Natalie for all your help and hard work.

MINI MANILA (5 stars)…read more Location is prime. Between SF (The City) and South SF (South City), super close to SFO, right on bart line, next door to SFSU, and next to the Pacific Ocean. One Bart stop from SF, 7-10 min Bart ride to FiDi, easy access to 280 and 101. People can't stand the fog here. Yes, it can get thick as we are on the coast line of the Pacific Ocean. Summer was the absolute worst... the heat brings in the marine fog (beanies and bomber jackets with slides kind of weather).. but winters were so beautiful with the extra clear blue skies, sunshine, and cool breeze. Those ugly square bathtub color homes that look kind of beat up are over a million dollars. Equity at its finest! 1968 the bill pass for "fair housing" act and affordable homes became available to many Filipinos. When Daly City wasn't much back then is now (and has been) prime real estate. Most of my years was in Westlake neighborhood (nice part) and then eventually moved into a condo off Hickey. "Do you know why it's always foggy in Daly City?" (The infamous BayArea joke) ... because of all the rice cookers! Lived here for a long time after moving out of The City (SF) and before moving to SD. There's hella Filipinos!!! Billboards in Tagalog, City Council is Filipino, Mayor is Filipino, Filipino restaurants everywhere, the Walgreens at Westlake Plaza sells longanisa in the frozen food section, local (Filipino) DJs use to spin at Crunch gym when it first opened (long ago). I felt very comfortable and at home being amongst my peeps. Yes, the best looking Filipino-Americans come from the Bay... in my opinion... Daly City. LOL As much as I am loving my current life, I do flirt with the idea of returning to Daly City. JABA APPROVED. Until the next review...

We used to hang around Serramonte Center; glad they are still around. Do you remember O'Farrell's? Toons? Or am I giving away my age, lol. Then there was Westlake Shopping Center, or is that NOT part of DC...? Kukje - One of the first and larger Korean Supermarkets in the area. Now we also have H Mart and the newly opened Jagalchi. Century 20 DC. Auto mall!! I used to ride my motorcycle on 35, but the weather is almost always freezing. Used to use their DMV as the SF one was crazy, just crazy... And of course, all the restaurants. Oh, and got a ticket on my VERY first date with my wife here.... What memories, lol. Luckily he let me go with a warning but gave me a fix it ticket to change my address. The first time I drove by and it was closed but I didn't really think about calling them to get someone to sign off it. I then have been so busy since I got the ticket and was barely in Daly City. I was then gone for a month and when I got back I received a notice in the mail that I need to respond. I thought I had until February to fix it but I still had to pay a fee and get it signed off. I came back to Daly City without my car and my ticket was in my car. I thought a photo copy was fine to get it signed off so I asked my parents to get the ticket from my car and email me a copy of it so I walked to the police station and the office was closed again. I swear I never see cops here. The photo copy didn't work. They needed a certified copy of the ticket or the actual ticket. I had no car to get a certified copy from the court house so I had to ask my parents to overnight the ticket to me so I can get it signed off. I came back a few days later to the police station. The office was still closed. I don't believe it ever opens. I called again and then the police officer came and signed it off! It has been crazy just to get this thing signed off but I am glad it's over. Anyways, has the office ever been open???? I guess they keep it closed forever. Not much happening in Broadmoor. I still don't understand why Broadmoor has it's own police department. This is Daly City to me!

I've been in three accidents in this parking lot thanks to the fact that the cops insist on parking in the stupidest ways imaginable making an already crowded situation with very low visibility a thousand times worse. Of course, there's no one to cite them for parking illegally because their doors are always locked to prevent the public from seeing how little work they actually do in there.

I have had nothing but positive encounters with the Daly City Police Department. Three years ago…read morewhen we first moved to our place, there was an incident where someonesomeone was trying to get in our backyard while we weren't home. When he got hime, my husband called the police department. They came quickly and walked through the house with him just to be sure no one was there and were so helpful. Just today a really nice police officer helped us when we went to recover my son's stolen AirPods using the Find My app. The dispatcher on the non emergency number told me exactly what I needed to do, and the officer was so kind both to us and for the situation. We were very pleased to get the AirPods back without any confrontation or issue,.

I ask for when he's working next and they "don't have a schedule". I've reached out through email to the officer directly, and have waited weeks for a response or update. Also, when providing the case no., the person is unable to pull anything up, when it was the case number provided on the card from the officer and also provided by the PD when I called days after the incident. People here need to be trained, seriously. These are serious matters at hand and they treat everything so lightly, disregarding the severity of the matter. Talk about laziness.
