He also relandscaped the front. he replaced the traditional needles with a new yard, leveling first with fresh soil and fixing the watering system to assure proper watering for all of the new grass and landscaping. we put in three crepe myrtles and three Salvia. He placed them excellently amongst the bushes and plants that were still in good condition. I highly recommend Davis! Ps- he does most of the work himself with a small; crew. so it was great to see him every day and consult on ideas along the way. he has a great eye and we integrated almost all of his suggestions. he is readily reachable too when I had questions or thoughts. A driver from Nimmer Turf and Tree Farm demolished my over sized mailbox and was not going to…read moreinform me of this incident. I caught the driver after his truck ripped it off the wooden mailbox post and he replied to me that my HOA would take care of it...I stated to him that the HOA is not responsible for my mailbox and that I would have to replace up to the HOA standards. I asked him for his card, he said he did not have one. Then he took off. What I should have done was call the police for a HIT AND RUN. But I did what I thought would be the right thing to do, call Nimmer Turf directly and report the incident and find out when they would be replacing and my mailbox as it was no longer usable due to their driver. The office manager was very rude and had the audacity to make this incident sound like I was bothering her. I said I could call the police and she told me to do so if I felt the need, and I wish I did as this company deserved just that. I also called as I wanted to discuss with the owner as I was not satisfied with the attitude of his office manager. HE NEVER CALLED. We purchased a new mailbox, had a handyman install and paint the damaged post. We submitted the bill. We were not paid all our expenses, they only paid what they felt they wanted to. The bill was 275 and they only remitted 150 as a deposit on this bill. I resubmitted the invoice with balance owed, I have contacted them by email and also stated I would like a phone call. NOTHING. This was NOT a negotiation. This is a BILL, for damage that needed to be repaired due to their drivers carelessness. I should have called the police on the driver! I will not question it next time. I would never recommend a business that rips off other small businesses. Nor a business that has the gall to be so outright rude when their employee causes a problem. Nimmer Turf and Tree Farm is apparently run by a disrespectful man, who never picked up the phone to listen to our complaint about his office manager or his driver that took off and didn't offer up a business card to fix the problem. Hey if they install sod on your property....pay them what you THINK is owed, apparently bills are negotiable!!! Show them the same respect they showed us. It all comes back in the end...treat others as you would want them to treat you.
