Today the guy on the cash register asked why we bag our items with the grocery bags. Does Kroger employees go to health safety training? It is also raining and we do not want our food rained at and get ruined by the rain water specially the dry goods since the molds will form on the dry goods. I never heard any complaint from the Publix cashiers. They are all very courteous and polite to their customers. If the cashiers find it inconvenient to scan our groceries, why work there?

I've tried both options, and honestly I do not think the upgrade is really worth the extra cost. The price difference is minimal, so it is not a huge deal either way, but once the sandwich is toasted, it is really hard to tell much of a difference in taste. That kind of made the regular Publix cold cuts feel like the better value to me. Overall, Publix does a solid job as a grocery store, but the deli is definitely one of the best reasons to stop in. As for the chicken tenders, wait until it's hot fresh and just put out and it's a life-changing experience. The Buc-ee's sauce is the only way to go.
