    Shrimp Po' Boy
    Nate H.

Clean fish market smell when entering, reminds me of the coast when I was growing up. Nothing like the funk of the local chain grocers. This place is clean! HUGE shrimp po boy, fried perfectly - can't fit the sandwich in your mouth. It's a market first with some seating, I don't know what other people expect when coming here to dine in. The fried foods - hush puppies and artichokes are perfectly fried crispy, golden happiness. The wife got the crabcake and while it was cooked well you can tell it was pre prepped - not my favorite crab cake but it well large and cooked well. I like my crab cakes fluffy and falling apart with more lumps of crab meat than breading - this was not my favorite. I think the price was more than fair for the amount of food that served and everyone in the market was friendly. Will come again.

Great local fish market and good fried food at well. The guys here are friendly and helpful. I sat and watched person after person come in and get a variety of fish and seafood to take home and those guys were on it. Even provided ice to someone who had a long drive home. As for me I just stopped in for a shrimp platter and it was great. I will try some of the other options next time

Shrimp Po'boy with fries and hush puppies

I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty our Po'boys were! I'm always skeptical of New Orleans inspired cuisine here in Knoxville, however, it was pretty good. The sandwich was seasoned well, however, the fries came up short. Unfortunately, they tasted like they were cooked in frying oil with seafood. They had an oily chew instead of a crispy crunch. The bread was nice and fluffy and had a great chew. The hush puppies were great and our meals were fairly inexpensive.

Then Shrimp Dock on Knoxville has great seafood. On this football Saturday they were serving up Gator PoBoy sandwiches. These are delicious and a must have when the Tennessee Vols play the Florida Gators.

Shrimp Po' Boy, the best damn Po' Boy in Knoxville... probably the best there ever was!

Just moved here from Florida, passed this place a few times. Finally stopped in for lunch. Honestly, BEST SHRIMP PO' BOY I've ever had! The guys there as so cool and friendly. Got to see them fillet a fresh red fish as I ate, it was like being back on the shores in Florida. I'll definitely be coming back and also I'll be getting all my fresh fish from them. I'm pumped to have some oyster roast at my house again!

Great service, fresh food cooked perfectly! We ordered grilled cod and top shelf tuna tacos. We'll definitely be back.

Teriyaki bowl was fresh, hot, and good! Probably the best I have had at a Whole Foods in quite some time. Parking was ample at this location and boy did they need it when I visited. The lot was packed and it was wall to wall people inside at this location. Everything looked full and fresh and well presented throughout. It was nice to visit this location. It's kind of hard to see from the interstate. So don't miss pulling off here if you are in town..

Pushy people at the check out line acting like I was in there way - even though my transaction was not completed yet and I was trying to get my bags. And the in a rush young people fulfilling Amazon Orders for Prime or trying to stock the shelves - I can't tell you how many times I have been treated as is I was an impediment to what they are trying to do even though I am a paying customer trying to navigate my way through the store. it gets to me sometimes. There are too many people trying to shop in this store for the size of it. Too many people "In a Rush" to get on with their lives. I do feel like I am back up in the North East sometimes when I go there. The best times to shop are during Tennessee Game Days or on a Tuesday night of all things. I go there because they do have things that other markets in the area do not have - fruits, vegetables, organic products. I do like the fish market guys. I do like certain cashiers and try to always go to them. I do like being able to find certain products there that I cannot find anywhere else - . I do like their supplements. There are things I do like. But the whole Prime thing (order fufillment) has put a huge black mark by the shopping experience. They really need to train their restocking people to be mindful of the customers and to be a little nicer while they do it. But between trying not to get run over in the parking lot when I am trying to get into the store and not getting run over while I am in the store by the oh so many busy people in there, it has gotten to where my stress levels goes straight up when I shop there. What I will do is try to go during off hours, and I do try to do that. But this is a pattern. My opinion is that for the amount of customers they have and the amount of order fufilment they do - the store probably needs to be twice as big as it is. I gave them three stars - but like I said - it is always a stressful experience for me.

The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, and I believe there's also a bar area. We were seated right away, which was a great start. Their menu has a little bit of everything, from appetizers and gumbo to customizable seafood boils with different seasoning and spice options. Before our meal, they brought out their cheesy crab bread, and unfortunately I didn't snap a picture because we all devoured it within minutes. It was that good! I ordered a half pound of crawfish, a half pound of snow crab legs, and a lobster tail with the Cajun seasoning, "Make It Hot." Everything was delicious! The snow crab legs were packed with flavor, and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the lobster tail--it was incredibly meaty, buttery, and cooked perfectly. The boil also came with sausage, corn, and potatoes, making it a hearty meal. I also have to give a shoutout to our server, Amanda. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. She checked on us often, cleared the table as we finished, and gave great recommendations when we had questions about the menu. If I ever find myself back in Tennessee, I'd definitely come back to Storming Crab!
