Update. This 5 star review is strictly for Dan Barracliff. He read my Yelp review, took my situation very seriously and got on his team to work on resolving my issues. He contacted me asap! I can gladly say that everything is taken care of. Indeed! Within a few days, I got the official letter about the cancellation. In a few more days, I got the refund check. I recently shopped around for motorcycle insurance because USAA doesn't offer motorcycle insurance. The cost was ok and initial impressions were great. A month into my coverage from State Farm, I received a letter in the mail stating that my coverage will be dropped due to inadequate documentation. They needed my wife's information. I never received an email or phone call to update this prior to the revocation of my policy. My wife cannot ride my motorcycle nor does she have a motorcycle license and I would have (eventually did) provide the information to the representative. Once I provided the information, I received a text that said thanks and nothing else. No documentation was provided that let me know if my policy was good or not. I then received a check in the mail a few days later and when questioning representatives, no one seems to know the status. My insurance gets revoked on June 12th. I feel that it is my responsibility to let others know this prior to making their decision to give State Farm their business. Their lack of training, incompetent employees, and use of outdated technology led to these issues. If they allow this to happen, imagine what would happen if you were to file a claim. Hopefully this helps someone. read more

I called StateFarm for a quote on my car insurance. I was connected with Fida, and the beginning of the call was great. She was helpful and straight to the point. I had originally called to switch insurances between agencies and she was ready to help me with that. After reaching back out to my current agency, they were able to match Fidas quote. Once I told Fida that I will no longer be swapping agencies, she got very agitated and ignorant. She ended the call very suddenly and aggressively. read more

This company and this agent is a joke and a fraud and I would never recommend doing business with either of them. My vehicle randomly caught on fire due to an electrical issue that was not my fault and it was a 2020 Jeep grand Cherokee. When I first got the vehicle, I bought the vehicle brand new. The day of the incident after calling 911 and after the fire department put the fire out on my vehicle, the entire front hood of my vehicle was destroyed. I contacted State Farm so that they can start a claim. I was actively and consistently paying State Farm $250 a month for my car insurance . I also had full coverage. The collision center that my vehicle was taken to deemed my car as a total loss. The cost to fix my vehicle was going to be too much, so State Farm totaled my car out and took the amount of money which was basically my payout that I had left remaining on my car and gave that to my lienholder, and I was left with absolutely nothing. It's horrible, disgusting, and cruel to expect people to pay the expensive amount of money you have to pay for car insurance, not including your car note and then for something traumatic to happen which wasn't my fault and you get nothing. My baby was in the backseat of my jeep when all of this happened so if my family and I had been killed from my car randomly deciding to catch fire, we would just be dead and no one would get anything. So thank you State Farm and Dan Bartcliff for doing absolutely nothing to help me. You better run and don't walk from these people. read more

I have had State Farm for the past 3 years. The experience has been one of the worst of my life. They have cancelled my insurance 2 with no notice - the first because they didn't file my GA drivers license, so they had my old NJ expired license. This time I got a lovely note in the mail very vaguely hinting at the fact that I no longer had insurance. After trying to get in touch for three days they finally confirmed that in fact they would no longer provide insurance for me. Guess what one of the reasons for declining was....suspended license! And now I have to go clean up their mess before getting a new insurer. They screw you over with a smile. (PS admittedly I had 2 violations in 2013 since I drove 100 miles every day - I currently drive an average of 10 miles a day. Not one grain of difference to them.) read more

Dan has always taken good care of us.A couple hiccups as he expanded, but that is true of any business. (Was hard to get a return call for information a couple times.) Well, after 30 + years with State Farm we must be happy. The only problem with SF (not Dan Barraclif) was when they cancelled our modular home policy after 3 years. Dan even drove 2 hours to our place to see what he could do. State Farms call, not his. Dan also does real well with our investments. Treats his customers with respect and courtesy.
