Recently, we had been with other insurance agencies. My parents were made aware of this agency through word of mouth, and I have to say that without them bringing this to my attention, we never would have met Jay Chung and been able to work with State Farm again. As you can imagine, insurance premiums have been really creeping up and becoming more expensive, so the timing couldn't have been better for us to meet with Jay. He was thoughtful, professional, and friendly- also, very THOROUGH. Any questions we had, were answered. He followed up with us to ensure that we were maximizing our potential discounts, and also doing the little things to make sure that we are satisfied with the level of coverage that we now have for home, auto, and umbrella for our situation. My parents are elderly, but still perfectly able to move about and be social and do things on their own. Jay was patient with them, and I cannot state how happy I was that I really wasn't involved in the process because he was so supportive and great to work with. I cannot state this enough- Jay walked us through SIGNIFICANT savings for our family home/auto. I highly recommend this agency not only for cost management, but the benefit of having an agent to ask any questions or air concerns, or even help filing a claim- Jay is going to be there for us. So we are grateful to State Farm, and Jay Chung especially.

I contacted them via the web to learn more…read moreabout the different types of automobile insurance - she listened, recommended and listened again. Without her I would not be fully insured and feel safe driving around in my new car. And after the service provided - I went ahead and signed for other life insurance as well as recommended others to her. I contacted this company to obtain a new car insurance policy and was deeply disappointed. I was…read morenever asked about what policy limits I was interested in or asked what my risk tolerance was. She asked for some very basic information and then found me the cheapest policy possible without obtaining all the relevant information from us and then acted irritated when I corrected her. Interestingly, even though my fact pattern changed drastically the same company was the cheapest. While this is possible, based on our interactions I was not convinced she was looking at multiple insurers as she claimed. When I said I needed to think about it and wasn't ready to pull the trigger that minute she became even more annoyed with me. At this point it became clear that Karen was only interested in getting her commission and getting out as quickly as possible. Ultimately if you're looking for a broker to help you figure out what policy amounts will actually be in your best interest and then search search to find you the best price this place is not for you.

We waited two months to get a response from our personal agent. Called twice with no response…read more Called corporate to try to get in contact with this particular state farm. They never called us to try to help us in anyway. Come to find out they changed one of the plans on our cars and didn't even tell us about it. We were being way overcharged. That might not be their fault directly but they should've been more involved with our Account. There's no reason for this kind of lack of communication.
