I really would like to give the owner Denise a good review. So here is the skinny as "I" recall. I took a neck chain in to have the hasp repaired. Okay it only was "solid" for about 2 weeks. It fell off of me. I did take take it back to her and she was truly sad to know that a piece that she had purchased for the repair went "bad". So far so good. I am waiting now for her "NO" charge repair. I will give her store the benefit of the doubt but I have read some truly tragic posts abut there. We have used Dan-Lo Jewelers for a number of years, both buying jewelry and repairing jewelry. This is not a glitzy high pressure store, but a simple store with many antique pieces. We have always been treated with respect and if they do not have what we are looking for in stock they will order what we want. They are friendly and listen to what we say we want, but will tell us if something won't give the desired effect. I appreciate that honesty! Their prices have always been fair. Repairs have been well done and do not need to be redone because of shoddy work. We will continue to use them for our jewelry needs. read more

The first time I went here it was a great experience the lady gave me a ring guard for one of my rings. The second and final time I will ever go there was HORRIBLE. I wanted to get my ring sized and as soon as I saw $20 on the receipt I was a little sketched out since the ring itself only costed $9.00 so I walked out then I forgot that a ring guard was an option the guy REFUSED to give me a ring guard. The reason I let him actually resize was because my boyfriend proposed and that was the engagement ring and I wanted to show it off as soon as possible. When I got the ring back it looked shiny and awesome, but it is STILL after like two weeks really big AND ITS TURNING MY FINGER BLACKISH GREEN AND THE RING LOOKS HORRIBLE. $21 for my finger to turn colors and ring to look disgusting is NOT worth it. This store specializes in mediocre merchandise but charges top dollar! If you're looking for fine jewelry they carry estate jewelry, but be prepared to pay over-the-top prices!! They offer only store credit (only after you fight for it!!), they know you're probably going to return their crap after you arrive home and realize you've been had! They don't carry insurance so be forewarned if you leave jewelry there to be repaired and they are robbed, there was a fire or they simply lost your property, they will tell you to submit a claim to your homeowners insurance, meanwhile, you'll never see your precious jewelry ever again! There are far too many jewelry stores to shop in, there is absolutely NO reason to give them your $$$$$$$$!!!!! You've been forewarned!!! read more

If I could give a ZERO it be a double ZERO buyer beware! I went to this local jeweler to upgrade a 4 prong diamond engagement ring, to a 6 prong and maybe a little bling to go with it. The hubby and wife were there, my better half and I expressed what we were there for. The wife then takes my ring uses her " little zapper" and proceeds to tell me my diamond is FAKE! I was so taken back, I kept my cool in the store but inside I was so upset thinking did we get taken for a ride on my ring? My wheels were spinning I was like how in the heck did this happen so fourth and so on...With everything that happened so quickly in the store I had TOTALLY forgotten that I have certified GFI stone and there is NOTHING fake about my ring! I would never recommend this store to anyone I know. My opinion the wife's zapper was "a crock" just like them, & they were trying to get my diamond cause it was better looking than anything the had in their store!! read more
