From multiple in-person meetings to countless text messages, Darrell was incredibly patient, attentive, and committed to getting every detail just right. Together we refined the 3D model until it was perfect, and the finished ring exceeded anything I could have imagined. The craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail are absolutely exceptional. More importantly, Darrell made what could have been a stressful process feel exciting and personal. He genuinely cared about creating something meaningful, and it shows in the final product. I can't recommend Darrell and the entire team enough. If you're looking for someone who will listen, care about your vision, and create a truly one-of-a-kind piece, this is the place. Thank you for helping create such a special ring and a memory that my fiancée and I will cherish forever.

I went into this shop on January 2, I had checked a few other stores but they were closed due to…read morethe holiday. I was greeted by Cara but then primarily dealt with Phyllis. She sat down with me and took the time to go over all my options, work with my budget and most importantly be sure that I would have my ring in time for my wedding day (January 27). After trying on many rings, I finally found a perfect pick! She had to do some work in order to get the ring I wanted that was in budget and it was estimated to take 3 weeks to arrive (just in time for the wedding). Having not heard from them come the week of, I called and Phyllis said she would get to the bottom of it, the company swore it would be there by Thursday, pushing it a little because Thursday was the day before the wedding but I stayed hopeful as did Phyllis. Thursday morning came around and I was in the middle of my nail appointment when I received a call from Phyllis that the ring was stuck in customs (you read right) and I about lost it, not towards Phyllis or Cara (who I was then dealing with as well) because it wasn't their fault. They promised me that they wouldn't let me go without a ring and after what I'll assume was not the sweetest of conversations with the jewelry company shipping who clearly dropped the ball, they informed me that they would give me the ring I originally tried on in store for the same price I was quoted (which was much higher priced than the one that was stuck in customs) and charge me the price I was quoted (THATS UNHEARD OF FROM A JEWELRY STORE!). As if that wasn't already an incredible save, it being the day before my wedding I would be in the town we were getting married in and wouldn't be home until around 10pm, which is clearly after business hours. Phyllis stayed in touch with me all night and actually met up with me to be sure my ring was hand delivered and as beautiful as ever! Thank you so much Phyllis, Cara and everyone at Whalen that pulled together to be sure my day was perfect, I will definitely continue to be a loyal customer to you guys!

I purchased a wedding ring for my wife 9 years ago in 2017. She has taken it in for cleaning…read moreseveral times in the last 9 years, I think the cleaning is included for the life of the ring. Today she took itinerary for cleaning while I waited in the car for her. It normally takes 5 minutes or so, for some reason today it was taking much longer, I did not think anything about it. When she was walking to the car I noticed she kept looking at the ring as if something was wrong. When she got in the car she was visibly upset, I asked what was wrong. She said there was two stones missing from the ring. I looked at it and it did look a little different but I honestly don't know every little detail of the ring. We then went back in the store and who I guess was the manager, I did not ask any names had the jeweler come out and look at it. Apparently a diamond on each side of the ring supposedly came out during the cleaning process and the jeweler did not notice, funny how when she looked at the ring when my wife gave I to her and she said the ring was "perfect" then 20 minutes later its missing 2 diamonds. They then told us they came out during the cleaning process and would have to fish the diamonds out. After they "found" the diamonds they said they would repair it. We decided to take the ring to another jeweler and pay for it, we did not trust them to fix it, they barely even acknowledged they damaged it and acted as if they were doing us a favor. My advice to anyone out there looking to make a jewelry purchase, steer clear and go somewhere else.

Good job with the advertising and marketing there!! I actually paid attention to it while driving on the highway!! This store is really cute and quaint on the outside. The inside is just as beautifully decorated with the wooden floors. They have all the magic of the Native American culture from teepee lamp, crystals, Jewelry, Dreamcatchers, Native American teas, sage etc... My typical concern with stores like this (from my experience) is that they can be so expensive because of high end jewelry and stones, that you can hardly buy anything! I was fully expecting to go inside to just browse but not buy. I was pleasantly surprised that there were some items, like loose stones, I could afford there. However, for that day, I left with my box of tea, and some sage. It was what I needed most. This made me happy.

It's in a log cabin, like a trading post, how cool is that!
