Rudeness, incompetence, and complete indifference to problems. Abuse of power and an unwillingness to improve living conditions at the owner's expense. Intimidation with fines for simply asking to address critical issues--such as replacing windows at the owner's cost that leak when it rains, are broken, and covered with mold; or allowing the replacement of a broken, outdated front door that has been breached twice by burglars. Because of this company, I lost my faith in justice and even my will to live. They have driven my health into a state where I've ended up in the hospital. I used to live, work, and be happy. this company / management is the worst they don't know how to communicate nor accommodate you during rough times. they let unmarked vehicles park in resident parking and then all these elderly or mother have to walk 3-5 units just to get a parking it's very outrageous. This management company has been a nightmare to deal with. I have owned my unit here since 2012 and have had issues with them ever since. They unfairly assessed roughly $600 extra for cleanup during one of the rough winters we had in the past few years. They do not even get our parking lot and sidewalks cleaned up in a timely manner during a mild winter!! Secondly, this management imposes a NO DOG POLICY yet the entire development is overrun with dogs. I personally don't mind them and find it ridiculous that a 27 year old policy is still upheld. I have neighbors that expressed they've been harassed by the management and threatened to take legal action against these owners yet some say that they haven't received any. That shows bias and discrimination by this company. This management and their business is laughable. I personally cannot wait until I leave this development. I've prevented many of my friends from living here or anywhere that is run by Danmar. They've been truly a nightmare to deal with. read more

This management company is dangerous. Shawn, head of maintenance came into my home and used abusive speech and made threatening comments. The owner doesn't care and doesn't return our messages. When we attempted to address in the office, we were thrown out with threats of calling the police. The office manager holding the door closed so that we couldn't come in. It's really ridiculous. These people are a complete waste of life. We've attempted to handle our concerns and their lack of ability to manage the property properly. I will be making a formal complaint. Beware. Dan-Mar Management is BY FAR THE WORST company I've ever had to deal with in my entire adult life. A few years ago that tried to sue me for almost 4k for having trash can in front of my garage (which were removed a year prior after receiving the first notice). I called to look into why I was yet still receiving these notifications. A woman in the office told me it was a GENERAL letter about vines growing up the back of my townhouse. Fast forward about 4 years to present day, and now supposedly I owe them attorney fees for when their auto pay system experienced issues and my payment was never deducted. I paid the amount due and nothing more. How dare they think someone is going to pay a late fee or attorney fee for THEIR issue. We need to look into how to get them shut down for being stealing crooks at this point. read more

Danmar is by far the worst run management company out there. They hire the cheapest worst landscapers who show up when they want to. When you want assistance with anything you are given an attitude from office staff. They have an employee Danielle who won't respond to emails instead calls up irritated and yelling and threwteninv to hang up on you instead of help with your issue. They lie about when and if things will happen. They are only there for the money and do an awful job. They are rated F by the better business bureau and I'm sure would be worse if able. This office staff is very unprofessional! The people are extremely rude. You leave 3 messages and it is not conveyed to the person and you don't receive a return call. When they do talk to you, it's like they don't know what happened to the message and are unwilling to help you resolve the issue. I placed my payment in their drop box and they said they never received it and charged me 2 late fees. I don't understand how the payment could get lost from the drop box to the office which is not even 12 inches away from their door. read more

I feel like this company is just cheating to get money. Dan-Mar is very shady management. I just moved in recently to mount laurel and they send me some bill for $70.00. I had not idea who they are, I thought it was my HOA who is sending me this and I found out later that Larchmont is different then Our HOA. I got my late fee waive for first time. Month later or so they send me another letter saying some sort of assessment fee and administrative fee. When I called them they had charge me some one time fee for moving in. Really? After one year pass by you realize that ? I was yet ready to pay whole amount and lady just contacted me today saying "management" has not waived your late and so I have to pay $70.00 late fee. Horrible management company .. they will be the reason that I leave my development .. if I ever move into another "community" I will make sure that Dan- Mar is not the management company. They are unprofessional, not easy to contact , and they harass those that keep their property neat and clean .. I have received 3 notices in the last 2 years for weeds that were growing from my neighbors property (which I complained about) and a 1x1 patch of mildew on my back wall. Keep in mind, if you drive around the development you see many clear violations (dirty yards, unkept grass, falling fences, missing siding, damaged driveways, etc) They are clueless and have no idea on how to run a community properly read more

In all my years of dealing with various companies I have to say that my telephone conversation with the employees of Dan Mar Management was by far the worst experience thus far. I spoke to two women for a simple request. I was told by the first employee HollyAnn that they are busy and not just sitting around twirling their fingers. I have been waiting months on the Dan Mar management team to help solve and ongoing issue i am living with. But i have been giving them time in hopes that something will be done. The upstairs renter in running a illegal daycare with more then 8 kids on some days!! This needs to be shut down for multiple reasons, safety being one of them. But it seems they'd rather attempt to fine me for Christmas lights or bikes on my own porch that no one else can see. So disappointed and now have to look for another place to live before toddlers fall through my living room ceiling. Rude and obnoxious. I spoke with a woman about making changes from in front of my home and the ignorant woman who answered the phone tried to tell me that it wasn't necessary. Not sure how requesting a plant to be removed from in front of my home was any problem of hers. She was completely UNPROFESSIONAL in the way she handled the manner. All she had to do was give me the information on the procedures needed and we could've both been on with our day but instead she was nasty and rude throughout the entire conversation. Once again threatening letters are going out giving homeowners less than 30 days to comply or be fined. Shocking some neighbors have to have their driveways or garages done yes within that time frame. However the President of the association M. Sora took over 2 years to fix both was she fined monthly ummmmm no why is that? How about another member of the association M. Foresman who extended her driveway without permission against association rules not legal. Is she getting fined monthly until it is removed ummm no again. Should I keep going. This is ridiculous why is it these people can threaten all of us but they just do as they please!! I live in a property managed by Dan-Mar in Mount Laurel, NJ. I have found the company representatives to be rude. I recognize that the company must often be confronted with home owner problems (which is a part of their job), but they make little attempt to be helpful, courteous, or understanding. The people who I have dealt with at Dan-Mar, especially the company's owner, have been brusk at best and often alienate the homeowners with whom they interact. read more

After numerous phone calls, complaints to the Better Business Bureau, and attending community association meetings I still was never reimbursed. The association members agreed I should be refunded and it was voted in my favor. These crooks simply did not pay me. After attending the association meeting I realized that the head of the company is basically a scammer. She keeps the board members very close and butters them up. They never have to bid for the job, they never have to compete, the board is ignorant and does nothing, they were all multi unit landlords and didn't care about the community, just as long as Dan Mar kept them nice and cozy. There is no doubt in my mind that this company is skimming money from billed services. Nobody ever checks. read more

Dan Mar property Management company for Country Estates in Lumberton. Sadly, there is no professionalism nor professionals in current organization. Resident since 1992. Called this morning 3/8/2018 to ask for assistance because the snow plow contractor -cleaned the middle of the street- left large boulders in the street directly in front of my drive way. I cannot drive over nor move those boulders. I am trapped in my driveway. I had a 10 a.m. Doctor's appointment. Three calls later, the young lady from Dan Mar called back at10:15 a.m to advise that it is my responsibility to remove the boulders from the street in front of my driveway. Once I asserted myself she accussed me of screaming and I could overhear someone else in the background urging her to hang up the phone. ..and hang up the phone she did! What great customer service! Young lady, you will be 68 some day...or perhaps you will have someone close to you who may need help just like I did today. Due to a heart condition I can no longer do things like I used to. I managed property for 30+ years and did not always have the answers that my residents wanted to hear. But, it is never what you do but always how. You listen to people. What a poor representation you and your organization are for Property Management and Customer Service professionals. Well, it has been 2 months and still no resolution, nothing from the board and no explanation. The late fees just keep coming. See below. This was my December review: Horrible, disrespectful, ineffective management company. Why does the Larchmont Community employ these people? We have been property owners for over 28 years. We are never late and pay 3- 12 months in advance! Recently the association assessed the owners 100's of extra dollars for snow removal. Understandable expense but they took my condo fee payments and applied them to the assessment. I did not give them permission to do that. My advance condo fees are there to fund condo fees and it is written on every envelope. They moved my money, without telling me and left a zero balance. That, of course made my condo fee late! The very next mailing advised me of a late fee! Really people? Is this how you treat your best property owners? I made many many phone calls to try to straighten this out but was met with resistance and finally the office management curtly told me to write a letter to the board. She (Danielle) then threatened to hang up on me if I asked her anymore questions. She then ended the phone call. So, you took my money and applied it to something that WAS NOT authorized and then charged me a late fee for paying in advance? This was clearly wrong and poor accounting. It may or may not be an illegal practice but it is certainly unethical. You should be fired Dan-Mar. read more

I agree that this is the worse management company I have ever seen. I had a problem with my condo in July and it is now Oct 16 and I am still dealing with the issue. The DanMar team, has been rude, standoffish, and blatantly unhelpful towards my situation. They refuse to help without even sending a representative out, they refuse to contact the board on my behalf or even give me their information, and they refuse to have open dialog without stating everything is my fault and they will not pursue any further action. It got to the point where they just ignored my inquiries for help and assistance; blaming a building problem on me and ignoring the guidelines set up in their own by-laws. They refused to even respond to my insurance carrier. It took the stoppage of payment of association dues as well as a call to the local building inspector, to finally get the ball rolling. And we're not even at the finish yet. I would happily vote for and welcome a new management team for my association. read more
