I grabbed a couple of crafty's and a bottle-o-spirits and was on my way. They had an impressive range of spirits, including a number I had never seen before. So the range was definitely up there. The staff were friendly and happy to see us, which is always a good sign. Parking is underneath, garage-style, and this makes it more accessible than a shopping centre Dan's. Went here last night for a Craft beer tasting night (it cost $20) As we entered we got a nice beer glass, there was a cheese spread available which was tasty! They had booklets of what beers were on offer to sample ranging from lagers, wheat beers, pale ales, golden ales to the dark beers and IPA's. Had over 35 beers to sample! Some included 1664 Blanc, Moo Brew, Blue Moon, Matilda Bay Alpha Pale Ale, Franziskaner Dunkel to Cascade Stout and even tried Guinness! On the tables they also had free popcorn, nuts and pretzels to nibble on. Further, they had a guy serenading us with his amazing guitar and vocals skills. There were also waiters on hand to serve hot food such as seared salmon, mini hot dogs with all the trimmings and what looked like curry puffs! Staff were extremely helpful and as we walked out we found out we got to keep our crafty beer glass (good thing we didnt just leave it on the tables!). Great night enjoying some of the craft beers from Australia, NZ to Germany.

This place is huge, with a great range to select from. From wine to beer and everything in between, if these guys don't have it I don't know who will. The staff were pretty chilled and ready to assist. If you are feeling adventurous and wanted to broaden your horizons, try the Mix N' Match in the bottled beer section. This will let you customise your beer pack (minimum of 4 beers), and you receive a 10% discount on your selected beers. So you can try a whole world of different beers. There is onsite parking, however the car park isn't large. I'm sure you could wait for a spot, I mean, how long can someone spend in a liquor store, right?

Its located right next to Coles so after you've done your shopping you can walk right in without the need to drive to the nearest Dan Murphys which is unfortunately a 5 min drive up the road with no shopping centre next door to it. I often drop in here to grab a bottle of wine and although they have a limited range they do still stock a lot of good stuff and you can always find something nice. On average I end up paying about $5 a bottle more when I buy here but if you only want one or two things its the price you pay for convenience. They also regularly have specials where if you spend $30 or more you can grab something else (usually a 6 pack of beer or a bottle of wine) for an extra $10. Quite often the saving you make doing that cancels out the $5 extra you paid for the wine and you come out with a good deal!

Anyhoo, this shop is vast and they've got it all. There's always a cheap deal of champagne, and my trusty Bombay Sapphire set me back a nifty $39.95 (compared to LL's $50). The boys here are always helpful, and you won't be left to your own devices for longer than a minute before very willing and able help arrives at your side. If you're on a budget, there's a range of cheap imports that are a-okay. The 2008 Bons Ventos Vinho Regional Lisboa Tinto - Red, all the way from Portugal tastes is good as red gets for $10. I'm unaware of any Aussie reds that are this acceptable for that price tag. There's usually a wine tasting set up. Help yourself though because I've never actually seen anyone manning the thing. But that's probably because the guys are too busy being helpful to indecisive drinkers like myself.

This place is fantastic! They have a superb cake selection and the coffee is brilliant…read more I cakes are truly great, and the eclairs remind me of those you get in Paris. This place cops a bad rap for the appallingly rude staff - and this true. The little old lady is the nicest, but the two younger ladies often have a bit of attitude. But you can be like that when your cakes are this great! And in saying that as much as I dislike rude staff, I will continue going here because they're good.
